274.

 275.
Although born in Seoul, South Korea, Ryan Park only lived there for the first year of his life until his family packed up and moved to Savannah, Georgia. That was where he grew up and where he considered his home. Ryan's parents were both doctors who worked hard to provide for their kids. Ryan and his sister lived modesty with the money their parents were able to provide for them. They weren't the richest people in town, but they didn't have any complaints.

 276.
 277.
Ryan was always a smart and respectful kid, the southern charm not having skipped him. If he weren't studying, he was off playing video games with his small group of friends. He always excelled in school and his teachers would always tell him he was going to grow up to do great things in the world. It was what Ryan wanted to do. He wanted to make a difference. Seeing his parents being doctors and saving lives on the daily, he wanted to do something as great as that. Medical wasn't his calling, but he loved to create things that helped people. Every day he'd come up with new ideas and the more things he learned, the more things he created.

 278.
 279.
It was in high school where he met his first - and only - love. Her name was Pamela Wilson and she was the only thing that was capable of distracting Ryan from his study and. It took him until senior year to ask her out and she obviously said yes. The two of them attended Armstrong State University together where they grew stronger and closer. After the two of them graduated, Ryan proposed to Pamela. Their engagement wasn't a long one, with the two of them tying the knot. Since they were both from Savanna, neither of them could see themselves living anywhere else. It soon also became the home of their baby boy, Thomas.

 280.
 281.
For the longest time Ryan believed his marriage was perfect - until one day, it wasn't. A few years after the birth of their son, Ryan woke up to find his wife gone. Days went by that he didn't hear from her then months until he eventually gave up. It was only him now in charge of taking care of his son and he wasn't going to put any more effort into trying to find the woman who didn't want to be in their lives anymore. One day, divorce papers were mailed to him and he didn't hesitate to sign them. The person who once meant the world to him was nothing more than a stranger who he didn't want anything to do with.

 282.
 283.
When the outbreak first occurred, Ryan was at work. It was on the news and as soon as the first sign of the outbreak occurred at his office, he ran as fast as he could and the first place he went to was the daycare where Thomas was at. He had no clue what was going on, but what he did know was that he needed to be with Thomas to keep him safe. As things got worse, Ryan had his sights set on Atlanta where he heard was the safest place around. It was on his journey there that he met up with a group of people. For half a year, Ryan and Thomas stayed with these people. Things were great until a terrible evening. Ryan was off hunting for anything they could use, leaving Thomas in the care of some of the people in the group. The one thing he always told them was to keep a close eye on his boy, who was always curious and liked to wander off. They kept their eyes off Thomas for too long, leading to the death of the little boy.

 284.
 285.
Devastated by the loss of his son, Ryan was sure he wasn't going to survive it. It took him a while after leaving the group to not cry any more. After that, he had been on his own for half a year, still coping with the loss of Thomas while trying to survive in a world full of zombies.
