  1. <WindStrike> *Last time on ZURPG! You spent the whole session pwning some Tonberries, Cactuars, and then a long boss battle against, of all bloody things, a frigin' key, caused by the DM's laziness and your guys' shenanigans. Between puns, a falcon punch from Strife, some other epic attacks, and whatnot, you destroy the key boss and used the key to unlock a vault full of uber artifacts.
  2. <WindStrike> *Now, ready to defeat anything, you now prepare to leave these dusty old catacombs...

  4. <DM> *You all gear up to leave the catacombs, on your way to find the Wizard of Oz- wait, wrong story.
  5. * Fireblast wonders what the hell a Wizard of Oz is
  6. <DM> *At the exit to the catacombs, you see eyes glowing from the darkness of the exit. Many, many eyes... and many, many lanterns, glowing in the darkness.
  7. <DM> [Strife]: NO, NOT THE NIGHTMARES, LET THESE CURSED FLUFFLY DOLLS GO AWAY!
  8. * Sephiroth randomly hurls a tonberry's knife at the DM.
  9. * Hal glances at the eyes. He knows that something is not right here
  10. * DM eats it..... and dies....... and revives.
  11. <Fireblast> Why do I feel like this was originally something that was fought before
  12. <Hal> Tonberries.
  13. <Hal> Lets hope nothing can throw them at us
  14. <DM> *They all advance slowly towards you...
  15. <DM> * From around the corridors of the old city, you hear a gruff voice, which echoes all around you. *
  16. * Fireblast throws a random cup of tea towards the area

  18. <DM> * You hear an older, traditional-style plucked string instrument kick in. *
  19. <DM> [???]: “I was starting to worry the DM would never load this part of the game, and I’d be stuck in loading screen limbo!”
  20. <DM> * A large man several times your size drops down from above, crushing the army of Tonberries before you and shaking the ground as he lands. He has a fearsome, Asian-style mask with two slits, revealing a pair of golden eyes beneath it. *
