  1. CHAPTER 4 – Information
  2.
  3. [9:36 – Computer Room]
  4.
  5. Resistance stayed under one of the computer desks, unmoving and silent but wary. From under the desks, he could spy Jeffrey’s and Plum’s legs on the other side of the room, walking warily.
  6.
  7. Jeffrey: Ah, Plum, would you please keep watch? I know a thing or two about computers. I’ll try to find as much information if I can and maybe even meddle a bit with the network and take control. And if you can find a weapon that’d be great.
  8.
  9. Plum: Well, okay. I’ll leave it to you.
  10.
  11. Jeffrey sat down on one of the computer and turned it on. Plum’s legs moved away from Resistance’s line of sight, but he knew that Plum was moving towards his direction from the sound of it. Resistance prayed to the great Flying Spaghetti Monster and his noodly appendages that Plum wouldn’t find him.

  14.
  15. [9:47 – Balcony]
  16.
  17. The group consisting of Machete, XIII, and Genesis looked warily at the lone samurai and his two weapons: a sheathed Japanese katana and a stainless butcher knife. Of course, Genny had her cleaning agent bottle, XIII his saucepan, and Machete a kitchen knife, but they all looked puny compared to the samurai’s, metalsluggg’s, weapons. He looked back at them with a sharp gaze. Genesis was the first one to answer him.
  18.
  19. Genny: Oh, no, no, we don’t mean to hurt you at all. We just ran away from the riffraff downstairs.
  20.
  21. Machete: That’s true. The waiter looked suspicious. Oh, while we’re at it…please be careful of JeffreyRaze and masterplum too, we’re pretty sure they did something to the food in the kitchen.
  22.
  23. XIII: Uu~ Evil people! Uu~!
  24.
  25. Sluggg: Hmmm…very well.
  26.
  27. Machete: Uh, guys, if you’d please come here for a sec…
  28.
  29. Machete pulled his teammates closer and he spoke in a hushed tone.
  30.
  31. Machete: I just remembered, but I’m pretty sure that the guy wearing a hat took the butcher knife from the kitchen. Do you remember it, XIII? When we were with Jeffrey and Plum in the kitchen, he went in and took it.
  32.
  33. XIII: Now that you mention it…
  34.
  35. Genesis: Do you think…he killed him?
  36.
  37. Machete: He does look dangerous. I wouldn’t put it past him.
  38.
  39. Genesis: Should we ask him to join our group?
  40.
  41. The three entrants looked at each other. Meanwhile, Sluggg was watching them the entire time. He was thinking of ways to fight them off in case they were to attack him. After softly spoken arguments within the group, they came a bit closer to metalsluggg, even though their body language obviously signed that they were still not ready to fully believe him.
  42.
  43. Machete: Sluggg, well…would you care to join us? It would be safer to be in a group.
  44.
  45. Metalslugg at Machete, then his eyes moved to look at Genesis, and finally at Jeffrey. He pondered for a while and answered with another question.
  46.
  47. Metalsluggg: Where art thou heading?
  48.
  49. Machete: …err…
  50.
  51. Machete tried to look at his teammates for help. XIII was looking intently at the stone floor, but to Machete’s relief, Genesis stepped in to help.
  52.
  53. Genesis: We’re going to Raka’s room.
  54.
  55. Sluggg looked at Genesis with interest and spoke in a rather condescending tone.
  56.
  57. Sluggg: And dost thou have a strategy to unlock the door? Or did thou assume that the door would be left unguarded?
  58.
  59. Her answer surprised everyone.
  60.
  61. Genesis: …I do have a strategy. I would even bet my life for it.
  62.
  63. Sluggg: …hmhmhm…ahahahaha! Most intriguing! Very well, I shalt follow thee for awhile if tis strategy of yours succeeds.
  64.
  65. Machete: Oi, are you sure? I think he took your words seriously.
  66.
  67. Genesis: Don’t worry, I got this. I hope.
  68.
  69. Genesis’ voice was full of sheer determination with only the faintest trace of doubt.

  71. [9:45 – Dining Room]
  72.
  73. The pain in Natwaf’s face finally subsided, but he was left teary eyed. Even though he had attended online courses to become a waiter, he could barely keep his cool with this clumsy guest. He was even surprised that Mana managed not to kill everyone by the dinner yet. Better to stay away from this one, he thought.
  74.
  75. Natwaf: Now, if you don’t need anything else, please pardon me.
  76.
  77. Mana: No! Wait! Uhh…you want to leave this room? Why, N-Natwaf, look at you, as fragile as the seaweed in someone else’s lake.
  78.
  79. Natwaf: Excuse me?
  80.
  81. Mana: …never mind. So, uhh, do you know anything about this mansion? How long have you worked here?
  82.
  83. Natwaf: Actually, I haven’t worked for very long, so I apologize that I couldn’t be more help to you.
  84.
  85. Mana: Oh. Thank you, thank you very much.
  86.
  87. Natwaf seemed to remember something and took out a couple of scones and brioches from his pocket and cleaned it carefully with his napkin, although he could only move his left hand slowly due to the hole on it. He then offered them to Mana.
  88.
  89. Natwaf: Before I go, would you like some light snacks, sir?
  90.
  91. Mana looked confusingly at the pastries. It wasn’t like he didn’t like them, but there were snacks on the dining table too, and they didn’t come from a waiter’s trousers pocket. But out of guilt for accidentally hurting the waiter, he decided to take a scone. Weirdly enough, Natwaf’s smile looked rather like a smirk.
  92.
  93. Natwaf: Very good, sir.
  94.
  95. Mana smiled sheepishly. He put the scone in his mouth and was about to take a bite, when…
  96.
  97. Mana: Achooooo!
  98.
  99. The scone flew right onto the waiter’s face, wiping off his smirk. He wiped his face with a clean napkin from his other pocket and began to walk hurriedly towards the stairs leading to the basement.
  100.
  101. Natwaf: If you’ll pardon me…
  102.
  103. Mana: I’m sorry!
  104.
  105. After he was left alone in the dining room, Mana began to think about something peculiar. His clumsiness usually would bring beneficial outcome, such as when he spilled his paint on the painting he was working on and it won a prize, or when he threw needles he was holding at someone and it cured his backache. But today, his clumsiness actually hurt someone…
  106. ===
  107. [9:47 – Hallway between the bathrooms, 2F]
  108. The group consisting of Niorapth, Orochimaru_Fan, and muddersmilk was determined to get revenge on the waiter that poisoned Nio. However…
  109.
  110. Orochimaru: So, uhh, where should we go?
  111.
  112. Milk: I have a plan. Let’s try getting into the security room. If there are cameras inside this mansion, we should be able to look for the waiter along with the other contestants.
  113.
  114. Orochimaru: Yeah, that makes sense. Let’s try going there then. It’s connected to Raka’s room, right?
  115.
  116. Nio: {NO WAY WE SHOULD GO LOOK FOR EDWARD.}
  117.
  118. Of course, Nio didn’t actually make any sound, but from her expression and gesture, they knew that Nio didn’t agree with Milk’s plan. Nio slowly mouthed the word ‘locked’ and gestured at the direction of Raka’s room.
  119.
  120. Milk: It’s locked?
  121.
  122. Nio nodded enthusiastically. Then she mouthed ‘Edward’.
  123.
  124. Milk: Edward? Why? Don’t you want to exact revenge for— hey!
  125.
  126. Nio grabbed Orochimaru by the wrist and ran downstairs. She remembered that Edward went to the basement earlier. Orochimaru was shocked and could only follow Nio. Milk sighed.
  127.
  128. Milk: That girl, always running with her own plans. Orochimaru is with him, I hope he will be able to keep her safe. For now, I’ll try heading to the security room. But seriously, that girl could learn a thing or two about safety…
  129.
  130. Milk went back to the Gents’ bathroom to look at the map.
  131.
  132. Milk: As I thought, there should be another door facing the balcony…alright.
  133.
  134. Milk proceeded to go to the hall and towards the other door to Raka’s room, while swinging his mop to practice using it; meanwhile, as Nio and Orochimaru ran downstairs into the living room and went even further down, a confused Mega Mana saw them and decided to follow the pair downstairs…
  135. ===
  136. [9:41 – Theatre Room]
  137.
  138. Kazbar: What is this…
  139.
  140. The theatre room looked like a high-class cinema theatre, with rows and rows of comfortable seats covered in premium leather and a gigantic screen on one of the walls. A scene was playing on it: it showed a very normal looking guy browsing things on a video game store. From the looks of the scene, it was as if it was recorded with a hidden camera. The guy came closer and his face was seen: it was Cody, the bartender from earlier. The screen went to black for a second and a new scene began to play. It showed Nio in a gas station filling up her Go Shiina car…
  141.
  142. The screen had been playing scenes of the daily life of the 21 contestants, taken with hidden cameras or even footages from cameras set on their workplace, apartment, or nearby mall. Pirate even forgot his rage for a while, astonished by the movie playing.
  143.
  144. Pirate: How did he…that old bastard!
  145.
  146. Pirate tried to pry open the door to the projector room, to no avail. Kazbar carefully talked to him.
  147.
  148. Kazbar: Well, you can…ask…him later if we find him. Let’s get going, it seems like there’s nobody here.
  149.
  150. Pirate spat out of hatred and anger.
  151.
  152. Pirate: If we find him…he’d wish he had never been born at all.
  153.
  154. Pirate walked first towards the Gallery Room’s door. Following behind him, Kazbar caressed his eyepatch lovingly and spoke to himself.
  155.
  156. Kazbar: Honey bunny eyepatch, that man is just too dangerous…We must really be careful…do you think it’s a good idea to follow him?
  157.
  158. ===
  159. [9:48 – Library]
  160.
  161. Trying to ignore the nasty smell in the library was a difficult task, but the small party containing Cody, Kirby, and Bigwig had to endure it. They had been looking through the library’s collection in hope of finding a book that can help them through the situation they were in. Although there must have been more than a thousand titles in the library – consisting of weird paranormal books, a wide array of novels, a Taiwan atlas, and even manga titles, they hadn’t found anything helpful yet.
  162.
  163. Cody sighed. Perhaps Raka wasn’t careless enough to let important files lay around. But it wasn’t like they had a better idea anyway. He continued to browse through the History section.
  164.
  165. The Fall and Rise of Jimmy Hopkins, Age 15…Quidditch Through The Ages…Republic of Borginia: A History…
  166.
  167. Something caught his eye. One of the books was titled The Owen Manor…the name of the mansion he was in. He pulled it from the bookshelf. It was neither very thick nor very thin, the size of a medium-length novel. The cover was black with golden letters forming the title. It didn’t seem to be rigged.
  168.
  169. Cody: Guys, I think I found something!
  170.
  171. Bigwig and Kirby gathered with Cody on the nearest reading table. Cody began to browse the book. Apparently the mansion was built in the early 1930s, commissioned by a wealthy man named Ulrick Norman Owen. In 1939, eight guests were invited to the island. Together with a husband-wife couple who attended to their needs, there were 10 people in the mansion. A few days later, all of them were found dead; the circumstances around their deaths made it impossible for the police to determine who the murderer was. Furthermore, they found that Ulrick Norman Owen had never existed; merely a pseudonym used by someone.
  172.
  173. In 1979, a man named Keane Zacharias Goldsmith bought the manor. He and the Goldsmith family used it for their annual family gatherings. However, in 1986, another tragedy in the family gathering happened that left only 2 members of the family alive. The woman who inherited the family’s wealth and the only survivor of those who came to the family gathering (the other one wasn’t present in the meeting due to sickness) was Evelyn Goldsmith. Details of the case were blurry at best, but the public thought Evelyn as the culprit, despite that she was never convicted of everything.
  174.
  175. In 1998, after Evelyn died of an illness, her niece, Angelina Goldsmith, inherited the manor. Shortly after, Angelina fell from the rooftop of a building – it was never determined whether it was a suicide, accident, or murder. The manor fell into Goldsmith Foundation, a company first founded by Keanu.
  176. The book ended there. It was printed in 2004, so probably Raka brought it afterwards.
  177.
  178.
  179. Kirby: …this mansion has such a dark history?
  180.
  181. Bigwig: I don’t like this, not one bit.
  182.
  183. Cody: Too bad there is no blueprint of this mansion, only photographs…
  184.
  185. Bigwig: It did say that the architectural design of the house was deeply guarded information. Likely, this manor holds a secret or two…
  186.
  187. Kirby: Well, why, I’m truly glad my plan worked quite well! It would have been better had we found blueprints and floorplans, but this certainly helps, doesn’t it?
  188.
  189. Cody: Yeah, good job. So, what should we do now?
  190.
  191. Bigwig: I suggest we move first, if you don’t mind. The smell is rather unpleasant.
  192.
  193. Cody: Yeah, I feel like I’d puke again if we stay here any longer. Let’s go.
  194.
  195. ===
  196. [9:41 – Music Room]
  197. After he took B.B.’s sword – which was still covered in his own blood – Edward decided to move to the Music room. The annoyingly cheerful children music in playing room had become unbearable. He had bandaged his wounds with clean cloths from the play room, but he didn’t feel good at all; he was sweating profusely and he felt really tired and weak.
  198.
  199. At least, the music room was comforting in its silence. The music room was filled with various instruments – from a smooth looking electric guitar to an antique grand piano, and even many instruments Edward could not name – in the middle of the room, with chairs lined on the wall. It offered little place for hiding, but it would be hard to chase someone between all the instruments.
  200.
  201. Edward decided to take a rest and seated himself on one of the chairs. He played a bit with the decorative sword he had taken. It was quite heavy. It would have been best if nobody would come here yet.
  202.
  203. ===
  204. [9:40 – Computer Room]
  205.
  206. Jeffrey looked intently at the screen, his fingers typing with an almost inhumane speed, an ability he learned from watching hackers on TVs and movies. The computer was really powerful, with the latest technology for its internal hardware and other appliances to complement them – a HD monitor, a keyboard, a mouse, a scanner/printer, speakers, headphones, and a mysterious device that looked like a ccard reader but the only buttons were Ok and Cancel.
  207.
  208. As he thought, there was no internet connection – after all, why would a lunatic who had blown up their vehicles let them communicate to the outside world?
  209. The local network wasn’t any good either, for it didn’t show the computer with access to the house’s security or maintenance system.
  210.
  211. Currently, he was browsing through the computer’s folders. They were mostly filled with video games, from Oregon Trail to the newest video games that were released just a couple days ago. The old man sure loved his games.
  212.
  213. Finally, he found something of interest hidden in one of the folders. It was a zipped folder named ’Contestant’s Data’. Jeffrey tried to open it, but another program popped out instead.
  214.
  215. Jeffrey raised his eyebrows – he never heard of this file security program before.
  216.
  217. [REDs – Recognition Device Software]
  218. [Please put your nametags on the device to obtain the digital root of 9]
  219.
  220. Jeffrey looked at the mysterious device that looked like a credit card reader. Although it was off just a second ago, now its light indicator blinked green and a soft, barely audible whir could be heard. Jeffrey took off his nametag and put it on the device. It beeped once – both the device’s screen and the software now shown the number [8].
  221.
  222. He pressed the okay button on the device. It beeped once more and the green light turned to red.
  223.
  224. [REDs – Recognition Device Software]
  225. [The digital root you entered is 8. The required digital root is 9.]
  226.
  227. The software then returned to the way it was before, and the device started to blink green again.
  228.
  229. Jeffrey: How quaint…Plum, come here for a second.
  230.
  231. Plum, who was standing guard in the middle of the room after he found spare cable he could use as weapon, came to Jeffrey’s side. Jeffrey explained the folder he just found, the software, and what a digital root is – the sum of all individual numbers in a number (e.g. the digital root of 1924 is 7 (1+9+2+4 = 16; 1+6 = 7).
  232.
  233. Meanwhile, overhearing the conversation was Resistance. He was about to sneak out of the room, but he knew that this information could be an important thing to know; therefore, he sneaked his way next to the door but he stayed to eavesdrop.
  234.
  235. Plum: So I just put my nametag here?
  236.
  237. Jeffrey: Yeah.
  238.
  239. The device beeped once more. The screens showed the number [21]. Jeffrey pressed the okay button – it beeped and the light turned red.
  240.
  241. [REDs – Recognition Device Software]
  242. [The digital root you entered is 3. The required digital root is 9.]
  243.
  244. Jeffrey: Hmm, even if we use our nametags together, it would become [2]. We need someone else if we want to look at the files.
  245.
  246. Plum: Can’t you open it by force?
  247.
  248. Jeffrey: I’ll try…meanwhile, please keep watch again.
  249.
  250. Plum: Leave it to me!
  251.
  252. Jeffrey began to try to open the folder by force – he was well-versed in computer.
  253.
  254. Meanwhile, when Plum reassumed his post, Resistance had just snuck out to the hall. He had heard enough information, although he wasn’t sure what to make of it. Perhaps he should try scanning his nametag when Jeffrey and Plum left…
  255.
  256. After more minutes of hot fingers on keyboard action, Jeffrey sighed, surrendered.
  257.
  258. Jeffrey: No good…despite looking like a normal enough folder and software, the multi-layered protection would need days to crack open.
  259.
  260. Plum: Then, should we try and ask other people for their nametags?
  261.
  262. Jeffrey: Yeah, we should do that…or we can always take the nametags by force if we have to.
  263. ===
  264. [9:51 – Hallway in front of Raka’s room]
  265. Genesis let out a surprised gasp as she, along with XIII, Machete, and Sluggg, entered the hallway. Jdizzy’s dead body was lying in plain sight. Machete and Genesis shared a meaningful look – Jdizzy took the butcher knife, but now he was dead and the knife was in Sluggg’s possession. XIII, however, had run towards Jdizzy’s body and began to inspect – or play with – it.
  266.
  267. Machete tried to confront Sluggg indirectly.
  268.
  269. Machete: Uh, Sluggg, did you hear anything? You were sitting in the balcony, right?
  270.
  271. Sluggg closed his eyes for a second, weighing the best answer.
  272.
  273. Sluggg: I unfortunately didn’t hear anything. I tried to enter Raka’s chamber when I found him like that. Whoever killed him must have had a gun.
  274.
  275. They gathered around the body. Indeed, there was a hole through Jdizzy’s forehead. It was rather sickening to look at, as his blood and brain matter dripped down to the carpet. XIII had taken Jdizzy’s hat and wore it. He also took Jdizzy’s nametag and put it onto the hat.
  276.
  277. Sluggg: Now, young lady, if thou would please try to open the door of which I hath failed to do so.
  278.
  279. Genesis nodded. She began to try to picklock the keyhole using her hairpin. The atmosphere was intense, as everyone watched her attempt. Genesis herself could almost physically feel the burden on her shoulders – she couldn’t possibly fail, not now.
  280.
  281. A satisfying click was heard.
  282.
  283. Genesis pulled her hairpin out from the keyhole, turned to the crowd holding their breath, and smiled.
  284.
  285. Genesis: I think I did it!
  286.
  287. The other three came closer to the door. Genesis put her hand on the doorknob, turned it, and…
  288.
  289. The door opened.
  290. ===
  291. [9:51 – Wine Cellar]
  292. Natwaf the waiter had been searching through the wine cellar for things he could use, but unfortunately there wasn’t anything particularly interesting, except for old and most probably expensive wine. He opened one of them and drunk a bit directly from the bottle, not enough to make him drunk but only to make him feel relaxed and forget about the wound on his hand.
  293.
  294. He was standing near to the staircase when he heard footsteps running down the stairs. He hid himself between the wooden wine racks and peeked out. It was…Niorapth and Orochimaru_Fan.
  295.
  296. He was surprised to see Nio running around with such energy. Perhaps the bleach wasn’t strong enough? It was a mistake on his part. They went past him and into the chapel. He went out of his hiding spot. Before he could move, however, he heard more footsteps, a shocked gasp, and somebody fell from the stairs onto him. Even before seeing him, he knew who it was.
  297.
  298. Mana: Ah, Natwaf! So sorry! Are you hurt?
  299.
  300. Natwaf got up on his feet and looked with contempt at Mana. He could not bear being in the same room with this klutz – or was his clumsiness an act? He ran into the hallway without even trying to be polite. Mana was a bit hurt, but tried to cheer himself.
  301.
  302. Mana: Oh. Well, too bad. Maybe he’s busy.
  303.
  304. Mana resumed his operation and opened the door to the chapel…and bumped into Nio.
  305.
  306. ===
  307. [9:53 – Chapel]
  308.
  309. Nio would have screamed if she hadn’t lost her voice. Someone bumped into her. She turned around to see a guy grinning but with an apologetic expression – just like a kid who had found doing something naughty.
  310.
  311. Mana: Sorry, did I startle you? I believe I haven’t introduced myself before. Well, my code name is Mega Mana, but just call me Mana.
  312.
  313. Nio could only open and close her mouth like a goldfish. Orochimaru explained for her.
  314.
  315. Orochimaru: Nio recently lost her voice. My name’s Orochimaru.
  316.
  317. Mana: Oh, nice to meet you both. So why were you still standing in front of the door?
  318.
  319. Orochimaru: We were taken aback by…well, you should see for yourself.
  320.
  321. Nio moved aside from the door to let Mana in. Mana’s mouth opened with shock as he saw that the chapel was full of people. Then he noticed that they weren’t breathing, and they looked a bit plastic-like.
  322.
  323. Mana: Are they…wax figures?
  324.
  325. Orochimaru: Yeah, we think so too. Still, they are rather unnerving.
  326.
  327. Mana counted the wax figures and apparently there were 28 in all. There was only one child figure, a girl with brown hair and a small black crown on her head; the rest was adults and young adults. They were really well made, as if one of them could just stand up and greet him.
  328.
  329. All of them were looking at the altar as if they were attending a service. Then he noticed that there was a coffin on front of the altar. Next to it were bouquets of flower. The scene was unmistakably that of a funeral.
  330.
  331. Mana: Is that…a coffin?
  332.
  333. Orochimaru: It is, but it looks like it’s empty.
  334.
  335. Nio pulled on Orochimaru’s sleeve and gestured at the door on the other side of the room.
  336.
  337. Orochimaru: Oh, right, we should get going, is that what you meant?
  338.
  339. Nio nodded. Orochimaru began to walk slowly between the pews towards the altar and the door, with Nio closely behind him. Mana followed.
  340.
  341. Mana: So, where are you guys going?
  342.
  343. Orochimaru: Oh, Nio is looking for the guy named Edward for some reason. That reminds me, you must be careful of the guys named Jeffrey and Plum. Oh, and the waiter, Natwaf—
  344.
  345. Without a warning, the floor Orochimaru stepped on sprung up. Orochimaru was flung upwards with his tramping pack. The letter opener he was holding fell, nearly slashing Nio’s foot. Nio and Mana looked up in disbelief. Orochimaru’s body fell perfectly into the coffin.
  346.
  347. Orochimaru: Damn, I thought I was gonna die—
  348.
  349. Then Orochimaru screamed as hot wax began to fall onto him. Nio and Mana looked above and there was an opening on the ceiling above the coffin. From it, a great amount of hot wax fell onto Orochimaru and the coffin. His scream stopped after a few seconds and his body fell limp, covered by heavy wax. The opening in the ceiling closed.
  350.
  351. Mana: The hell just happened?!
  352.
  353. Nio picked up the letter opener Orochimaru left behind. Then, she stepped forward to the altar, carefully avoiding the hot wax, picked one of the flowers from the bouquet and throw it inside the coffin.
  354.
  355. Nio: {Rest in peace, Orochimaru. Now I gotta find Edward and make him wear shorts.}
  356.
  357. Not paying any attention to Mana, Nio opened the door to the Torture Chamber.

  359. [9:57 – Hallway in front of Raka’s room]
  360.
  361. The sight of Jdizzy’s dead body shocked muddersmilk. He had never seen a corpse in real life before, much less one killed by a gunshot. He recognized that it was Jdizzy, one of the guys who sat around the coffee table before the game began. He also noticed that somebody took his nametag and beloved hat. It surely was desecrating for him, to take away the hat he loved so much…
  362.
  363. But there was no time for mourning. He had to go to the security room and find if he could see where the waiter was – and his mates Nio and Orochimaru too. He tried to open the door to Raka’s room…
  364.
  365. And to his surprise, it opened.
  366.
  367. He stepped inside the room. Raka’s room was a cozy, office-like room with a desk on the middle, bookshelves behind them, sofas surrounding a table, and there even were magazines on the table.
  368.
  369. Finally, he noticed a group of people gathering around a door that must have lead to the security room. They heard the sound of the door closing and looked at them. Among them there was Genesis, XIII_rocks, ImTheMacheteGuy, and that samurai guy…metalsluggg was his name, if he was not mistaken.
  370.
  371. Machete and Sluggg turned to face him and readied their weapons – a kitchen knife and a butcher knife, respectively. Sluggg’s katana was still in its sheath, hanging from his waist. Milk tightened his grip on the mop but tried to feel as harmless as he could.
  372.
  373. Milk: I…I mean no harm.
  374.
  375. Sluggg and Machete didn’t lower their weapons and kept their gaze at him.
  376.
  377. Genesis: But, perhaps his nametag…
  378.
  379. Machete: Hey, give us your nametag
  380.
  381. Sluggg: Do as thou art instructed, and there shalt not be unneeded bloodshed.
  382.
  383. Milk: I…I don’t really mind, but what for?
  384.
  385. Machete: We have no obligation to tell you.
  386.
  387. XIII: We need the total of 65 to open the door to the security room. There’s a device that reads the number assigned to our nametags and our group’s total comes to 60.
  388.
  389. Milk: …
  390.
  391. Sluggg: …
  392.
  393. Genesis: …
  394.
  395. Machete: Dammit, XIII. Well, you heard him. Now give us your nametag and scram.
  396.
  397. Milk was conflicted. On one hand, he was clearly outnumbered. But on the other hand, if he gave them his name tag, they would be able to get into the security room…and that would be very disadvantageous for his group.
  398.
  399. What should he do?
  400. ===
  401. [9:52 – Gallery]
  402.
  403. Shards of antique vases were scattered on the floor. Wax figures had their body hideously dismembered. Paintings were scratched, ripped, or both until they were impossible to recognize. Pirateking2000, however, wasn’t satisfied yet. With surprising strength and a feral scream, he lifted a wax figure of a blonde girl dressed in candy-covered pink dress and threw it across the room, hitting a painting of a woman.
  404.
  405. There had been nobody in the room where they entered, and Pirate’s pent-up anger and frustration made him went berserk. Kazbar could only stand silently, hoping nothing hit him or even worse, his eyepatch. He whispered to himself.
  406.
  407. Kazbat: Look at him, my precioussss. Losing his sanity like a mad bull. We should scurry off from her—
  408.
  409. A wax head hit him in the stomach. It didn’t really hurt, but it startled him. Pirate pointed at him accusingly.
  410.
  411. Pirate: You little prick, always talking to your eyepatch like a lunatic! Now I know why I haven’t met anybody else! You’ve killed them, didn’t you?! You wretched murderer!
  412.
  413. Pirate’s eyes were gleaming with psychotic rage as he picked up a long, sharp ceramic shard from the floor and walked slowly towards Kazbar. He was still a fair distance away from Kazbar.
  414.
  415. Kazbar: No! We’ve been together, right?! There’s no way I could have killed anyone!
  416.
  417. Pirate: Yeah right! That’s what you want me to think!
  418.
  419. Kazbar: No, please! I didn’t do anything!
  420.
  421. Pirate: Then why haven’t we met anyone?! Catastrophy wouldn’t be able to rest in peace until I killed his killer!
  422.
  423. Kazbar: It was…maybe someone…maybe they’re conspiring against us!
  424.
  425. Pirate: Is that so?
  426.
  427. Kazbar: Believe me! At least, let’s go to Raka’s room! That old guy must be there! And we’re so close!
  428.
  429. Pirate: Hmph, fine. But this is your last chance. I still don’t believe you.
  430.
  431. Kazbar wanted to huff in relief, but he knew that would only anger Pirate further. Ergo, he and Pirate began to make their way towards Raka’s room…
  432.

  434. [10:00 – Music Room]
  435. Edward woke up. He must have fallen asleep for a while, due to his fatigue and stress. The wound in his stomach and all over his body still hurt, but that was a sign that he was still alive, and for that, he was thankful.
  436.
  437. He considered where to go next. It would be ideal to hide and let everyone else kill each other until only one was left. He was in a bad shape for another fight…
  438.
  439. And as he thought that, the door from the torture chamber opened. It was Nio, Edward had a mixed feeling, since Nio didn’t seem like she would want to kill him, and she was one of the coffee table group – but so was B.B.
  440.
  441. She walked in and immediately found Edward. She was holding a hairdryer in one hand and a letter opener in the other hand. When she saw Edward, she smiled sweetly and tried to talk, although no voice came out for some reason.
  442.
  443. Nio: {Finally found you <3}
  444.
  445. Edward: Well, s***.
