  1. Deep in the forest, a little Houndour pup was running down a dirt road, coming to a tall man, who looked at him with comforting eyes. He kneeled down and gently petted the little Pokemon. “You find any more kids for me, Howl?”
  2.
  3. The houndour nodded and let out a bark before turning and running off. Or would’ve if the man hadn’t picked him up. “Whoa! Easy there little pal, you’ve been running around the forest all day, you need to give your paws a rest.” The man let out a whistle. “Kanga!” On cue, a Kangaskhan appeared behind the man and took the Houndour from him.
  4.
  5. “He’s been a good boy, but he’s already running low on batteries.” The man said, noticing Howl’s eyes looked heavy. “Give him the good treatment.”
  6.
  7. Howl looked ecstatic at what the man said, as Kanga gently cuddled the little pup. She then put Howl in her pouch nice and snug next to her sleeping cub.
  8.
  9. “Comfy, Howl?” The man asked. Howl let out a quiet bark before nodding. “Ada boy, now keep being a good boy for Kanga, while I help those kids you found. Speaking up which, can you point me in the right direction?” Howl nodded before pointing off in an easterly direction. “Thanks.” The man gently petted howl, who was getting sleepy. “Now enjoy a good sleep, you earned it.” Howl let out a quiet yawn before falling asleep in Kanga’s pouch. “Kanga, the magic bag please.”
  10.
  11. Kanga nodded her head and handed the man the bag that was secured around her back.
  12.
  13. “Thanks, now come, they are bound to be some pokemon you can rescue along with those kids.”
  14.
  15. Kanga nodded her head again and followed the man as they walked off towards the east.
  16.

  18.
  19. “No adoption again?” a boy asked a caretaker.
  20.
  21. “Nope.” The caretaker responded. “That’s the third one this week that’s refused to adopt any of the kids that share the same room as you.”
  22.
  23. “What about Erika?” The boy asked again.
  24.
  25. “Same thing. I swear, I don’t know what the four of you are doing that keeps you from finding a loving family.” The caretaker responded back.
  26.
  27. Hunter was a young boy orphaned since birth. He was a playful and friendly kid, always playing with his beloved Pidgey, Arrow. But despite being such a good kid... no one wanted him. See, Hunter has a rare and unique ability to understand Pokemon as if they were speaking human to him. The ability scared adopters away from him, so year after year, his closest thing to family was his friends and Arrow.
  28.
  29. “Arrow... will I ever have a family?” Hunter asked, rolling up into a ball in the corner.
  30.
  31. The Pidgey flew down and perched next to him. “Of course you will, Hunter. You just have to believe that their is the perfect family out there just waiting for.” It chirped. “But I’ll be in your perfect family... right?”
  32.
  33. “Yeah, of course...” Hunter gently hugged Arrow. “You’ll always be a little bro to me.” The two of them cuddled and just sat together.
  34.
  35. ~~~
  36.
  37. “Sorry Marshall, no adopters, but Choppy’s all healed.
  38.
  39. “Cool! I can’t wait to see Choppy.” Marshall exclaimed as he ran off to see his Machop pal, Choppy.
  40.
  41. “Machop!” Choppy said, as he was hugged by Marshall.
  42.
  43. Marshall was a young boy with matted brown hair. He was energetic and fun loving. He always played with Choppy and loved to see the Machop spar with the other pokemon along with using the training center that was in the basement of the orphanage as well. Marshall’s only problem was that he had ADHD and had problems keeping his attention on what was in front of him at the moment. Adopters seem to dislike his condition and refuse to adopt him.
  44.
  45. Choppy didn’t seem to wanna train, he just wanted to cuddle with Marshall.
  46.
  47. “What’s the matter, Choppy?” Marshall asked. “Why don’t you want to train today like you usually do?”
  48.
  49. “Chop!” The Machop said as he hugged Marshall. “Chop, Machop chop.”
  50.
  51. “Wait, you want to play with me today instead of training? Is that it, Choppy?”
  52.
  53. Choppy nodded his head in agreement, letting go of Marshall before running off.
  54.
  55. “You got it then, Choppy.” Marshall laughed while running after him. “There’s always tomorrow, anyway. Wait, let’s at least hang out together!” Marshall ran after Choppy.
  56.
  57. ~~~
  58.
  59. “C’mon, Shell! You sure there were no adopters?” A girl asked her Oshawott friend.
  60.
  61. “Wott!” The Oshawott looked down, unhappy.
  62.
  63. “Aww... that’s too bad... you wanna cuddle?” the girl asked.
  64.
  65. “Osha!” The Oshawott looked up and gave the girl a hug.
  66.
  67. Erika was young girl with a gentle and kind heart, and a beloved oshawott friend named Shell. The two of them were inseparable ever since Erika first came to the orphanage and have been the best of friends since. However, Erika was born with Heterochromia. Most adopters took one look at her brown and blue eyes and refused to adopt her because of them. Poor girl.
  68.
  69. “OH! Shell, I finally got you your own little bed.” Erika pulled out a mini bed, just the right size for an Oshawott. “No more sleeping on the floor, as promised.”
  70.
  71. “Wott!” Shell ran over to the bed and examined it. It was just his size with a comfy pillow and plush, warm blanket. He smiled, then yawned, his eyes growing heavy.
  72.
  73. “Oh, I guess it’s your nap time, perfect.” Erika gently tucked Shell into the bed.
  74.
  75. “Oshawott.” Shell let out a quiet purr before falling asleep.
  76.
  77. ~~~
  78.
  79. A little Chimchar looked up at the caretaker. “Chimchar?”
  80.
  81. “You must be looking for Chase, right?” The caretaker asked while he picked up the Chimchar. “He’s outside, setting up tents for the special ‘new years night under the stars.’ poor kid’s doing whatever he can to distract himself from how harsh life has been to him.”
  82.
  83. “CHAR!” The chimchar jumped out of the caretaker’s hands and run outside to Chase.
  84.
  85. “Little guy’s got it in his head that Chase is his adoptive brother, always caring about him.”
  86.
  87. ~~~
  88.
  89. Outside, by the forest edge.
  90.
  91. “Chimchar!” The Chimchar greeted Chase.
  92.
  93. “Oh, hey there, Magma. I’m just finishing the tents. The Red one’s ours, it’s fireproof.”
  94.
  95. “Chimchar.” Magma said, then he began to shiver a bit.
  96.
  97. “Oh, lemme get you in the tent, I have just something for you to help you keep warm.” Chase picked up Magma and brought him into the red Tent.
  98.
  99. Chase was a young boy with a strong, caring heart. He has fiery red hair and a strong sense of justice, he’s always protecting his little Chimchar friend from being bullied by the other kids in the orphanage. However, Chase suffered from Dyslexia, which made it difficult to read stories and follow conversations. Adopters considered Chase forever doomed to failure, and refused to adopt him as a result.
  100.
  101. Chase got Magma nice and snug in some red camo pajamas designed for his species, warm, comfy, and 100% Fireproof.
  102.
  103. “Chimchar!” Magma looked happy in his new pajamas as he cuddled Chase. Chase returned the favor by petting Magma’s head and hugged him back.
  104.
  105. “I’m gonna get into my Pajamas, can you let the others know the campout is all set?” Chase said.
  106.
  107. “Char, chimchar Chim!” Magma nodded his head and ran out of the tent to get the other kids and their pokemon friends while Chase pulled out a large duffle bag.
  108.
  109. “Glad I have all my clothes with me.” Chase said as he pulled out a set of orange pajamas.
  110.
  111. ~~~
  112.
  113. Erika was in her room, dressing Shell in some new sea green camo Pajamas, “What do you think?”
  114.
  115. “Osha!” Shell had a happy look on his face.
  116.
  117. “That’s good, I even got myself a matching pair.” Erika showed Shell her our pair of Sea green Camo Pajamas.
  118.
  119. “Wot! Oshawott!” Shell said, as Erika got changed into the Pajamas.
  120.
  121. “I’m glad you like them, Shell.” Erika said.
  122.
  123. As soon as the two of them were dressed in their pajamas, Magma ran over to them and motioned for them to follow.
  124.
  125. “Wait Magma.” Erika said. “Are the tents ready for our sleep out under the stars?”
  126.
  127. “Char!” magma nodded.
  128.
  129. “That’s great! Shell, go with Magma, I’ll pack up and meet you at the campout.”
  130.
  131. “Wott.” Shell responded and followed Magma as they ran off to tell the next kid.
  132.
  133. ~~~
  134.
  135. “Machop!” Choppy said, snuggling his new Brown Camo Mitted Footie Pajamas, a gift from Marshall.
  136.
  137. “Good, they fit.” Marshall said as he pulled out a set of black Camo pajamas. “I was worried for a moment there.”
  138.
  139. Choppy Hugged Marshall gratefully. “Machop!”
  140.
  141. Just then, Magma and Shell ran up to Marshall.
  142.
  143. “Hi there Magma, Hi Shell, is everything all set for the Campout?”
  144.
  145. They both nodded their heads.
  146.
  147. “Excellent then. Why don’t you help them tell Arrow and Hunter that everything’s ready while I finish getting ready for tonight, Choppy.” Marshall said
  148.
  149. Choppy saluted and ran off with the other Pokemon.
  150.
  151. ~~~
  152.
  153. Hunter dressed Arrow in a set of green camo pajamas. “I know you can’t fly with your wings covered, but I wanted you to be able to keep them warm.” Hunter said, a little nervous.
  154.
  155. “It’s okay, Hunter.” Arrow chirped. “I know you’ll be careful when you carry me to where ever we need to go tonight. Now you need to get into your new jammies, can’t let you get cold out there neither you know.”
  156.
  157. “You got me there, Arrow.” Hunter said as he changed into Blue camo mitted footie pajamas.
  158.
  159. “All packed up?”
  160.
  161. “Yeah, we can head out as soon as we get the heads up,”
  162.
  163. “It’s okay to go outside now. All of the tents are ready.” Magma spoke as he entered the room with Shell and Choppy.
  164.
  165. “Perfect timing.” Hunter grabbed his duffel bag. “Arrow, I saved a spot in the bag for you.” He partially zipped the bag open.
  166.
  167. “Thanks.” Arrow chirped as he hopped into the bag, his head sticking out. “Let’s go, Hunter.”
  168.
  169. Hunter happily obliged, heading out.
  170.
  171. ~~~
  172.
  173. Later that night, the kids and their Pokemon Friends were all at the campout, enjoying the warmth of the campfire.
  174.
  175. “This is fun.” Marshall said. “I just wish we were all adopted. I was hoping to be in a loving family by this year.”
  176.
  177. “Yeah, it’s a shame no one will adopt us.” Hunter said.
  178.
  179. “Indeed.” Chase said. “I hate being left here while all the other kids get adopted.”
  180.
  181. Then Erika noticing something. “Look up! A bunch of Shooting Stars!”
  182.
  183. All four of the kids and their partner pokemon looked up towards the sky and stared in awe at the sight in above them. A meteor shower, dozens of shooting stars.
  184.
  185. On instinct, Hunter, Erika, Marshall, and Chase each closed their eyes, put their hands together, and made a wish.
  186.
  187. I wish for a family. Hunter wished.
  188.
  189. I wish for someone to love me for who I am. Marshall wished.
  190.
  191. I wish for my friends and I to be adopted together, so we can remain one big, happy family. Erika wished.
  192.
  193. I wish... me and my friends were Pokemon... maybe then, people would want to adopt us. Chase wished.
  194.
  195. Nearby, someone was listening to their wishes. “Don’t worry, children. I’ll make sure your wishes come true and find you a loving family as well.”
  196.
  197. “Oh, Arrow’s getting sleepy, I think its time for bed.” Hunter said, as his little Pidgey friend yawned.
  198.
  199. “Same here.” Marshall said as Choppy closed his eyes, leaning on Marshall.
  200.
  201. “Awww, Shell’s so cute when he’s sleeping.” Erika said, as the little Oshawott slept adorably on her lap.
  202.
  203. Chase let out a yawn as Magma fell asleep in his arms. “I guess Magma’s ready for bed along with me. Good night everyone.” Chase said while walking over to his tent.
  204.
  205. ~~~
  206.
  207. “Okay Kanga, tend the campfire while I get to work, you get to help me this time.” The man said as him and Kanga quietly snuck up on the campsite. “I need to make sure to get them one by one... and I know just who goes first. Kanga, you’ll be in charge of helping them through the process, and once they’re done and back to sleep, put them back in their tents.”
  208.
  209. Kanga nodded just as they came up to the first tent.
  210.
  211. ~~~
  212.
  213.
  214. Hunter and Arrow were sleeping soundly in a sleeping bag. Outside, a light was shined gently on their tent to try and wake them up.
  215.
  216. “Huh? What the?” Hunter said, he and Arrow waking up.
  217.
  218. “It looks like a light, Hunter.” Arrow chirped. “But who’s trying to wake us up at this hour?”
  219.
  220. “Let’s go look.” Hunter said, as the light stopped shining. Curious, He and Arrow stepped out of the tent. They find a Kangaskhan tending to the kids’ fire, and roasting marshmallows.
  221.
  222. “Wow, that’s a cool pokemon. I’ve never seen a real Kangaskhan in person until now.” They both exclaimed. “But where’s your trainer?”
  223.
  224. The kangaskhan did not answer the question, instead she offered the two the marshmallows. “Midnight Snack?” she asked motherly.
  225.
  226. “Sure! I’d love a marshmallow, Miss.” Hunter responded.
  227.
  228. “Go on, take one.” The Kangaskhan said.
  229.
  230. “Alright.” Hunter and Arrow happily took a marshmallow from her and started eating them.
  231.
  232. Suddenly, something rolled over and stopped by Hunter’s foot.
  233.
  234. “What’s this?” Hunter asked as he picked up the object and examined it. It was a pokeball but it didn’t look like a regular one. It was orange and black with a skull on the button. “This looks like a Pokeball themed after Houndour.” Hunter said.
  235.
  236. “Yeah.” Arrow chirped. “Why don’t we see if there’s anything inside, Hunter?”
  237.
  238. Hunter nodded, and pressed the button to open it.
  239.
  240. The pokeball clicked open and revealed that it was hiding a note addressed to Hunter inside.
  241.
  242. Evening Hunter, enjoying Kanga’s snack? She’s a sweet girl. Anyway, I have an even bigger treat for you. How does finding a family for you AND your friends sound? This pokeball will spray out a special gas that will transform you into a pokemon, but only if you willingly take this deal. If you willingly get turned into a Pokemon, I can promise your friends will follow suit, and then I can get all of you the family you all deserve.
  243.
  244. But this choice is purely yours.
  245.
  246. Yes
  247.
  248. No
  249.
  250. Hunter thought long and hard about this decision for a couple minutes before coming up with an answer.
  251.
  252. “Well, Hunter?” Arrow asked.
  253.
  254. “I have decided. Whoever you are, Yes.“
  255.
  256. Suddenly, orange gas erupted from the pokeball and covered Hunter’s head as it entered his lungs.
  257.
  258. Then, as the gas entered Hunter’s system, Kanga picked up the boy, gently undressed him, and set him back down. “Just relax little sweetie, It won’t hurt. And I’ll fix up your new jammies to match your soon-to-be new form.”
  259.
  260. “Really?” Hunter asked as black fur started to grow on his arms and legs.
  261.
  262. “Yep, you’ll be able to wear it as a Pokemon, I promise. Now just relax and enjoy your transformation.”
  263.
  264. “Okay. Thank you.” Hunter said while calming down. He held his arms out in front of him and watched as his hands painlessly turned into paws while orange fur appeared on his belly and black fur appeared on his back. He let out a small grunt as a tail appeared above his tailbone as his spine cracked and forced him onto all fours. He looked down at his feet and watched as they turned into paws as well.
  265.
  266. Soon, once transformed into a human headed Pokemon, Hunter finally recognized what he was turning into. He was turning into a Houndour, just like the colors on the pokeball. “A Houndour?”
  267.
  268. “Yep,” Kanga said, picking up and cradling Hunter, She then offered Hunter another roasted marshmallow. “Snacky?”
  269.
  270. “Yes please!” Hunter said. The Kangaskhan handed him another marshmallow and he ate it. “Delicious.” Just as he finished off the marshmallow, his mouth and nose extended out into a muzzle while his ears moved to the top of his head and became pointed, leaving him fully transformed into a Houndour.
  271.
  272. “How does being a Pokemon feel?” Kanga asked.
  273.
  274. It feels amazing, miss.” Hunter said as he let out a yawn. “I can’t wait to play with everyone once I finish my nap.”
  275.
  276. “Same here.” Arrow chirped “ And I’m sure everyone will be excited to see you once they finish transforming as well.”
  277.
  278. “Of course, but into the tent you go.” Kanga took them both back into the tent, and before their eyes, magically conjured a life sized Kangaskhan plushie. “Your new bed.”
  279.
  280. “Thanks, Miss.” Hunter said as he hopped into the pouch on the plushie.
  281.
  282. “You’re welcome. OH! and your jammies are ready.” Kanga exclaimed as she helped Hunter get redressed in his new pajamas.
  283.
  284. “They...” Hunter yawned. “Fit...” Soon Hunter and Arrow were asleep, Hunter still in Kanga’s arms.
  285.
  286. “So cute.” Kanga said as she tucked Hunter and Arrow into the Plushie’s pouch. “And they’ll be full of energy once they wake up tomorrow.” She gently patted them before exiting the tent to take care of the campfire.
  287.
  288. ~~~
  289.
  290. Howl slowly stirred inside Kanga’s pouch and let out a small yip. “Good evening, Kanga. Are we at the orphanage yet?” Howl asked.
  291.
  292. “Yes, Howl, and I have a marshmallow for you.” Kanga offered him a stick with a freshly roasted marshmallow on it.
  293.
  294. “Thanks, Miss Kanga.” Howl said as he took the marshmallow from her and ate it.
  295.
  296. “You’re welcome, Howl.” Kanga replied back. “And once you’re finished, Can I ask for your help in waking up the next kid to be transformed?”
  297.
  298. “Sure... if I can have more of those yummies.”
  299.
  300. “Sure Howl.” Kanga replied while giving him another marshmallow.
  301.
  302. Howl ate the marshmallow before jumping out of Kanga’s pouch and walked over to Marshall’s tent. He let out a soft howl next to the tent.
  303.
  304. “What was that?” Marshall asked.
  305.
  306. Choppy just shrugged his shoulders.
  307.
  308. “Whatever it is, we might have to check it out.”
  309.
  310. “Chop!”
  311.
  312. They came out, and found Kanga and Howl roasting MORE marshmallows.
  313.
  314. “A Kangaskhan?” Marshall asked.
  315.
  316. “Chop!” Choppy rubbed his belly when he saw the marshmallows.
  317.
  318. The Kangaskhan offered a marshmallow to both Marshall and Choppy.
  319.
  320. “Oh... thank you.” They accept the marshmallow and ate them.
  321.
  322. Something rolled to Marshall.
  323.
  324. “Huh, what’s that?” Marshall asked as he picked up the object. It was a Pokeball, but it was different from the usual. It was black and grey pokeball adorned with two red eyes in the black half. “It looks similar to a Poochyena, Choppy. I wonder what’s inside.”
  325.
  326. Marshall opened the Pokeball up. Inside was a letter addressed to him.
  327.
  328. Marshall grabbed the letter and started reading it.
  329.
  330. “Good evening, Marshall. Did you enjoy Kanga’s snack? I have a special treat for you and your friends. It involves finding you and your friends a new family that will love you. This Pokeball contains a special gas that can transform you into a pokemon, as long as you voluntarily agree to the transformation. Also, if you take this deal willingly, I can assure you that your friends will follow suit as well. Well, Marshall, do you agree to my offer?
  331.
  332. YES
  333.
  334. NO
  335.
  336. Marshall put the note on the ground and thought hard about the choice that was presented to him.
  337.
  338. “Chop?” Choppy asked.
  339.
  340. “This is a lot to take in, Choppy. I don’t know if I should take the offer. It sounds scary.” Marshall responded.
  341.
  342. Choppy hugged Marshall.
  343.
  344. “Thanks, Choppy, I feel better now.” Marshall said. “And whoever you are out there, I’m ready now. My answer is yes, I want to be transformed into a pokemon.”
  345.
  346. Just as Marshall spoke the words, a black gas exited from the pokeball and covered his face. Marshall let out a cough as the gas entered his lungs and started spreading throughout his body
  347.
  348. Soon, soft grey fur began to grow and spread. “I feel very warm and cozy right now.” Marshall said. The fur completely covers his body, then, his ears moved to the top of his head, turning pointy. Marshall’s hearing became better as new sounds entered his ears. “Whoa...”
  349.
  350. Next, a fluffy little canine tail came bursting out of Marshall’s pants. “A...A tail?” Marshall wagged his new tail. “It feels amazing.” Then his hands and feet began to change, his toes and fingers fusing together, forming a set of four cute little puppy paws. Marshall held his new paws up to his head and looked at them. “They look so cute. It just feels a little weird not having hands anymore.”
  351.
  352. Suddenly, he shrank down, swallowed up by his pajamas. Kanga walked over to where Marshall was and pulled him out of his pajamas, revealing a human faced Poochyena pup, trapped on all fours. “There we go, little one.” Kanga offered a marshmallow, “Have a snack while I fix up your jammies.”
  353.
  354. “Okay, miss.” Marshall said as he took the marshmallow from her. “Also, why can I understand you now?” He asked before eating the marshmallow.
  355.
  356. “Pokemon can understand each other, and you’re now 94% Pokemon. But you won’t fully transform until I decide so.”
  357.
  358. “Really?” Marshall asked.
  359.
  360. “Indeed, but for now, I think a certain Pokemon friend of yours that’s been waiting for a chance to talk to you.”
  361.
  362. Choppy walked over to Marshall and gave him a hug. “Marshall, I’ve waited so long to talk to you and for you to understand me.”
  363.
  364. “Is that true, Choppy?” Marshall asked.
  365.
  366. “Yep, now I can care for you like cared for me.” Choppy smiled.
  367.
  368. Kanga smiled, “Ok, now to finish you up.”
  369.
  370. Kanga rubbed Marshall’s head and his face pushed out into cute little puppy muzzle.
  371.
  372. Marshall let out a small grunt when his mouth pushed out into a muzzle. “Oof, that felt weird Miss.”
  373.
  374. “Marshall, you’re a Pokemon now!” Choppy said happily.
  375.
  376. “Awesome!” Marshall jumped up and down, but he yawned. “Aww... I’m all tuckered out..”
  377.
  378. Kanga soon finished resizing the pajamas to better fit Marshall’s new body. “There we go, hon. Oh, you’re tired...” She magically conjured a Lugia plushie. “Plushie 2, get the poochyena into his jammies, tuck him and the Machop into your special pocket, and keep them safe in their tent.” She snapped her fingers. The plushie leapt to life and carried Marshall and Choppy back to their tent. Once inside, Marshall was dressed in his new pajamas, he and Choppy were wrapped in blankets, and Lugia then unzipped its belly zipper. It carefully put Marshall and Choppy in the belly pouch and zipped itself back up before becoming lifeless again.
  379.

  381.
  382. The campfire flickered in the moonlight as Kanga and Howl continued to roast Marshmallows. Howl began to whimper and shiver. “Kanga... do you have anything for-” Suddenly, Kanga picked Howl up.
  383.
  384. “Don’t worry, Howl.” Kanga responded as she pulled out a pair of pajamas for him to wear.
  385.
  386. “Thank you, Kanga.” Howl said, as the Kangaskhan got him all dressed up.
  387.
  388. “You’re welcome, Howl.”
  389.
  390. “Who’s next, Miss Kanga?”
  391.
  392. “Not sure.”
  393.
  394. Then a new pokemon, an Ivysaur arrived, “Boss asked me to help out.”
  395.
  396. “Hey, Ivan, Long time no see.” Howl responded as he walked over to him
  397.
  398. “I can help out easy, Watch and learn.” The Ivysaur produced two vine whips.
  399.
  400. ~~~
  401.
  402. Erika and Shell slept soundly together, as the vine whips snaked into the tent. They slowly made their way to shell, then gently but firmly wrapped him up good and tight, they then quietly picked him up and carried him out of the tent.
  403. Minutes later, Erika, in her sleep, reached for where Shell was and tried to hug him. However, all she found was an empty spot where Shell used to be. “Huh.” She mumbled quietly as she woke up. “Where did he go? I better find him before he gets lost.”
  404.
  405. Coming out of the tent, Erika found the Pokemon group by the fire, with Shell being cradled and rocked back sleep by Kanga. The little Oshawott slept adorably in her arms. “H-H-Hello there, Miss.”
  406.
  407. Kanga looked at Erika and smiled. She tucked Shell into her pouch, then picked up and cradled Erika.
  408.
  409. Erika let out a giggle as she was picked up and cradled by Kanga.
  410.
  411. Cuddling Erika, Kanga offered the girl a marshmallow.
  412.
  413. “Thanks, Miss.” Erika took the marshmallow from Kanga and ate it.
  414.
  415. Kanga just adored little erika, she just loved her so much. The Kangaskhan personally handed Erika a Pokeball.
  416.
  417. Erika took the Pokeball from her and examined it closely. It was reddish brown and orange with six tails coming out of the back. “Wow...” Erika opened it. Inside was a letter addressed directly to her from Kanga.
  418.
  419. ”Dear Erika, I would like to offer you a chance at a better life by transforming you into a pokemon. My master heard of what happened to you and your friends and we’re offering a chance to make it better. I promise to take care of you as if you were my own child. There’s a special gas inside of the Pokeball that will change you into a pokemon, but I won’t force you if you decline the offer. The choice is purely yours.
  420.
  421. Yes
  422.
  423. No”
  424.
  425. Erika closed the pokeball and carefully thought about what she was going to do.
  426.
  427. But Kanga cuddled her a little. Looking at her with an expression like ‘please?’
  428.
  429. “Sure. Yes, I will take the offer.”
  430.
  431. The pokeball opened up again and sprayed Erika in the face with a reddish brown gas.
  432.
  433. Kanga took the pokeball as the gas entered Erika’s system. The pokemon kept the gift comfy in her arms, as fur began to grow. The fur covered her arms and legs while her hands and feet turned into paws. Erika let out a small giggle as six reddish brown tails appeared above her tailbone. She then shrunk down into her pajamas as her spine cracked and trapped her on all fours.
  434.
  435. Kanga helped Erika out of her pajamas and revealed that she had turned into a human headed Vulpix before placing the PJ’s in her pouch. “How are you feeling right now, Erika?”
  436.
  437. “The fur is really warm, But... what will happen once I’m fully turned into a Pokemon?”
  438.
  439. “Well, I’ll put you back to bed with your little Oshawott friend, and you both sleep in my pouch with me little cub. I’ve decided to adopt the two of you.”
  440.
  441. “But what about my friends?”
  442.
  443. “They’ll join us as Pokemon, and all of us will be adopted by a good kid that will care for us.”
  444.
  445. “Really?
  446.
  447. “Yes. Oh, now before I finish you up, here, I just finished altering your Pajamas.” Kanga pulled out the resized Pajamas, and redressed her soon to be cub. “Comfy?”
  448.
  449. “Very. Thanks, Kanga”
  450.
  451. “You’re welcome, so, ready to be a Vulpix?”
  452.
  453. “Yes, Miss... I mean.... Momma” Erika nodded as the fur soon covered her face. Her ears became pointed and moved to the top of her head while while her mouth and nose extended out into a vulpine muzzle.
  454.
  455. “How does it feel to be a Pokemon now, Erika?”
  456.
  457. “It feels nice, momma.” Erika said as she lets out a yawn. “May I take a nap next to Shell now?”
  458.
  459. “It is bedtime still, sweetie.” Kanga said, tucking Erika in next to Shell in the pouch. “Night Erika.”
  460.
  461. “Night Momma.” Erika said as she nodded off to sleep
  462.
  463. ~~~
  464.
  465. “So... you’re a momma now?” Ivan asked.
  466.
  467. “Yep.” Kanga responded. “Um.. Ivan?” She suddenly seemed uneasy.
  468.
  469. “Yes Kanga.”
  470.
  471. “The last kid’s... friend is... a Fire type.”
  472.
  473. “Oh...” Ivan licked his lips.
  474.
  475. “Ivan, don’t hurt that poor little Chimchar.”
  476.
  477. “I’ll be good...” Ivan brought out his vine whips. “I promise... ish.” He sent the vine whips over towards the last tent and carefully picked up the Chimchar by the arms. He pulled Magma out, and wrapped him up good and tight. “I can have my fun.” With a quick squeeze, magma was woken up.
  478.
  479. The Chimchar panicked, struggling in the vines. He tried to cry out, but his mouth was covered over by the vines. Magma was scared, tears formed in his eyes.
  480.
  481. Kanga then gave Ivan a good Dynamic Punch to the head, “Bad Ivysaur.” She gently got Magma out of the vines, and gave him a cuddle. “It’s okay, sweetie, Miss Kanga will keep you safe from that mean old Ivysaur.”
  482.
  483. “Thanks, Miss.” Magma smiled, as Kanga cradled him and fed him a marshmallow.
  484.
  485. “You’re welcome. Now, let’s bring your human friend over here and introduce him to me, your new friend.” Kanga responded as she walked over to the tent where Chase slept.
  486.
  487. ~~~
  488.
  489. Chase was tossing and turning in his tent. Magma came over, and gently nudged Chase. Chase rubbed his eyes and woke up to see Magma hugging him. “There you are, Magma. I was having a nightmare before you woke me up. I had a dream that you were constantly under attack by a group of mean pokemon.” Chase said.
  490.
  491. Magma smiled, as Kanga, behind him, put a magic spell on Magma. All of Magma’s wounds he incurred while tied up by Ivan magically vanished, and something extra happened to Magma.
  492.
  493. “What just happened?” Magma asked... wait... ASKED?!
  494.
  495. “Wait a minute, Magma. I can suddenly understand you now.”
  496.
  497. “No... I gave him a human voice. He can talk now.” Kanga revealed.
  498.
  499. Chase backed up from Kanga when he heard her talk as well. “What’s going on here?”
  500.
  501. “Oh! Chase, this is my new friend, Kanga.” Magma said. “Don’t worry, Chase. She’s really nice and saved me from a malicious Ivysaur.”
  502.
  503. “I have a gift for you, Chase.” Kanga said as she pulled out an orange and cream colored pokeball covered in black stripes and a black nose on the button.
  504.
  505. “A Growlithe Pokeball?”
  506.
  507. “Yes Chase. It’s for you to transform into a Growlithe.”
  508.
  509. “What?!” Chase backed up.
  510.
  511. “Oh... right... open the pokeball.” Kanga said. “There’s a note inside that will explain more.”
  512.
  513. Unsure of whether he should trust her, Chase threw the pokeball back at Kanga and ran out of the tent. “This isn’t possible.”
  514.
  515. “Not so fast.” Ivan said. He quickly grabbed Chase and tied him up in the vines. “You're not getting away from Miss Kanga that easily.”
  516.
  517. Kanga came out. “Calm down, and read this note.” Kanga opened the pokeball.
  518.
  519. Inside the pokeball was a note addressed directly to him. Chase looked at the note and read it.
  520.
  521. Hello, Chase, I know you’re confused, so let me explain the whole thing. Your friends have already been turned into pokemon.
  522.
  523. “What?!” Chase panicked, struggling in the vine whip.
  524.
  525. “Calm down...” Kanga said.
  526.
  527. Chase wouldn’t at first, but after seeing Magma next to Kanga, he thought about the little guy, and calmed himself down.
  528.
  529. “Good, now keep reading.”
  530.
  531. Don’t worry about your friends, they’ll all be adopted with you by a nice family should you transform into a pokemon as well. There is a special gas in here that will transform you into a pokemon should you willingly accept.” Kanga glared at Ivan just as Chase read that part.
  532.
  533. I Promise, you, Magma, and all your friends will be okay, and Kanga and Howl will even join you... think of Magma’s sake, trust me on this... the choice is yours.
  534.
  535. YES
  536.
  537. NO
  538.
  539. Chase thought long and hard over the note and the confusing events that occurred to him this night before coming up with an answer, he looked at Magma. Magma gave him a nod and a happy look.
  540.
  541. “For Magma’s sake, I will accept, but only on the condition that Ivan set me back on the ground next to Magma and Kanga.”
  542.
  543. Ivan complied and Chase was placed next to his friend Magma.
  544.
  545. Chase was then gassed. He let out a cough as the gas entered his system. He kept coughing as fur started growing all over his body. He held his arms up and watched as they turned into paws.
  546.
  547. “It’s...It’s really happening. I’m really turning into a Growlithe. The Kangaskhan wasn’t kidding when she said that it wouldn’t hurt.”
  548.
  549. “Chase! You’re Shrinking!” Magma shouted. Indeed, what Magma shouted was true. Chase had shrunk down and disappeared into his pajamas just as his feet turned into paws as well.
  550.
  551. “Save me! I don’t want to be swallowed up by my pajamas!” Chase had yelled back.
  552.
  553. Kanga kindly walked over to where Chase was and gently helped him out of his pajamas. With a painful snap coming from his spine, he was then trapped on all fours.
  554.
  555. “Ow! Miss Kanga, that hurt.” Chase remarked as a cream colored tail soon appeared above his tailbone, leaving him as a human headed Growlithe.
  556.
  557. Kanga bent over and cuddled the cute little Growlithe pup. “Shh, Shh, Shh, It’ll be alright, little one. Miss Kanga’s here to keep you nice and safe.”
  558.
  559. “Um... before... I’m... turned completely into a pokemon... May I see my friends please?” Chase asked as politely as possible.
  560.
  561. “Of course you can, Chase!” Kanga responded as she pulled Erika and Shell out of her pouch and placed them next to Chase. She then snapped her claws, causing the Lugia and Kangaskhan plushies to exit out of the tent, bringing Marshall, Hunter, Choppy, and Arrow.
  562.
  563. “Wow... They’re all happily sleeping...” Chase smiled.
  564.
  565. “Indeed, Now with a little magic...” Kanga smiled as she cast another spell. The entire campsite appeared to shimmer and glow as the four tents disappeared and transformed into a gigantic tent for everyone to sleep in.
  566.
  567. “Plushies, you too Sawsbuck Plushie.” Kanga snapped her claws again. A Summer Form Sawsbuck plushie appeared in front of Chase. “Let’s get our little friends into the tent, tomorrow’s a big day.”
  568.
  569. “Uh...Miss Kanga.” Chase spoke up. “I’m not fully transformed still. Could you please finish it before you put me to sleep?”
  570.
  571. “Oh right, sorry about that.” Kanga snapped her claws one more time. Chase’s mouth and nose extended out into a canine muzzle as his ears moved to the top of his head and became pointed. Now he was completely transformed, and yawning.
  572.
  573. “NOW, we need to get these kiddos tucked in, okay, each duo gets a room in the tent.”
  574.
  575. “Room?” Magma asked.
  576.
  577. “Yes, room.” Kanga replied.
  578.
  579. The kids were taken into the tent and Magma was surprised. The tent was bigger on the inside than it appeared.
  580.
  581. Each room had a color associated with it along with pictures of who slept in it along with the plushie that was assigned to them. Kangaskhan for Hunter, Lugia for Marshall, Ninetails for Erika, and Sawsbuck for Chase.
  582.
  583. “Wow!” Magma said, as kanga summoned a Ninetails Plushie.
  584.
  585. “Okay all, let’s get the kids tucked in. Kangaplushie, please tuck Howl in with Hunter and Arrow, I’ll help tuck Magma and Chase in.” Kanga said, gently picking up the little Chimchar.
  586.
  587. The Kangaplushie nodded and picked up Howl and placed him in it’s pouch while Kanga gently placed Magma on the Sawsbuck plushie.
  588.
  589. ~~~
  590.
  591.
  592. Soon the kids were being tucked in.
  593.
  594. “So... tomorrow, we’ll be adopted ?” Magma asked, as Kanga tucked him in.
  595.
  596. “Yes, you will. I’ll be coming along with you to help your new friend take care of you.”
  597.
  598. “Thank you, Kanga.” Magma yawned, as he fell asleep.
  599.
  600. “You’re welcome, little one.”
  601.
  602. “You’ve done well,” Arc said, appearing behind Kanga.
  603.
  604. “Thanks, Arc.” Kanga said. “I had a little trouble with Ivan at the end of the night with with last kids friend. He almost really hurt the little Chimchar,”
  605.
  606. “I know... I reverted him to a Bulbasaur, one more stunt like that and he’s an Egg.”
  607.
  608. “That sounds a little harsh, Arc.”
  609.
  610. “I don’t tolerate cruelty, I’m a Bringer of Joy, not Cruelty or Pain.”
  611.
  612. “That’s true. Maybe one day he’ll get over the abuse and pain that was inflicted on him by another fire type under orders by a mean trainer in an attempt to toughen him up. HE was a lot worse when he was a Venusaur.”
  613.
  614. “Right. Well, you and Howl fulfilled your contracts, So you’ll be joining the kids here in getting adopted. So now, I need more Pokemon to contact as helper. It’s been wonderful having you as a helper.”
  615.
  616. Kanga blushed when he said that. “Aww, thank you Arc. It was a pleasure helping you out as well.”
  617.
  618. “Now get some sleep, your new role as mother Kanga starts first thing in the morning.”
  619.
  620. “Sure thing, Arc.” Kanga let out a yawn. She tucked herself into the spare bed. “Good night Arc. Thank you for everything.”
  621.
  622. “You’re welcome, Kanga.” And with that, Arc disappeared as the Kangaskhan let out one more yawn and fell asleep.
  623.

  625.
  626. Ashi Town, a small town in Kanto. It was their annual Pokemon Festival, where old enough kids get their own Pokemon to take care of.
  627.
  628. On boy, Tommy, and his twin brother, Reggie, had just hit the age of Ten. So they were excited for their own Pokemon.
  629.
  630. “Our Pokemon aren’t at the Pokemon Ranch?” Tommy asked his mother.
  631.
  632. “I heard there’s a large tent outside our house waiting for you to go inside.”
  633.
  634. “C’mon, Reggie!” Tommy said.
  635.
  636. “I’m coming, Tommy.” Reggie said as he ran down the stairs. “I can’t wait to see who our pokemon will be.”
  637.
  638. ~~~
  639.
  640. They go outside, indeed, the large tent was waiting, with a locked zipper and a note addressed to them.
  641.
  642. Reggie walks over to the note and reads it.
  643.
  644. ”Congratulations and Happy Birthday, Reggie and Tommy! Inside this tent
  645. are 10 Pokemon for you to split.
  646.
  647. “TEN?!” Reggie shook his head in disbelief. “I can’t believe we get to take care of TEN different pokemon, Tommy.”
  648.
  649. “For your doubts, there are two helpers amongst them. The Pokemon with the blue collars are Tommy’s, the ones with black collars are Reggie’s, and the red collars are the helpers. You’ve been good boys this last year, helping People and Pokemon and doing well in school, you earned these Pokemon.
  650.
  651. Sincerely, the Legendary Joy Bringer, Arc.
  652.
  653. P.S. there are some nice surprises with your Pokemon.”
  654.
  655. Reggie removed the note and the lock vanished.
  656.
  657. “Well, that was easy.” Reggie remarked as he opened the tent and walked inside with Tommy.
  658.
  659. In the middle section, they found Kanga and Howl waiting for them, wearing red collars.
  660.
  661. Then, to the kids’ shock.
  662.
  663. “Welcome, Boys.” Kanga said.
  664.
  665. “You can talk?” They both said with surprise.
  666.
  667. “Of course I can, Sweetie. The magic of the tent allows you to hear what pokemon are saying.” Kanga said, “This isn’t just ANY tent.”
  668.
  669. “What do you mean?” Tommy asked.
  670.
  671. “This is actually a special Pocket Dimension, It’s a special space with many possibilities. For example, Arc told us about your... issue with bullies. You do have that problem yes?”
  672.
  673. They both nodded their heads in agreement.
  674.
  675. “This place can serve as a hiding place, as I can control it to not be even seen by wrongdoers.” Kanga said.
  676.
  677. “Really?” Reggie said. “That sounds amazing. Our own little secret clubhouse that we can hang out in.”
  678.
  679. “It’s a clubhouse, secret base, portable home, usually for us and the other pokemon, a hiding place, a safe haven in times of need, and so much more!” Howl said. “We call it the Magic Tent.”
  680.
  681. ”Cool.” Tommy looked around at the doors. ”Which room should we enter first, Reggie?”
  682.
  683. “Tommy, try the Blue Door, Reggie, the black Door.”
  684.
  685. “Okay.” Reggie said as he walked over to the black door.
  686.
  687. “Got it!” Tommy happily ran to the Blue door.
  688.
  689. ~~~
  690.
  691. Tommy opened the Blue door, and found a really nice child’s room. In the two bunk beds in the left corner were a Houndour, Pidgey, Growlithe, and Chimchar, all with blue collars. “Wow... But... how do I wake them?”
  692.
  693. Just as the words left Tommy’s mouth, the magic of the Tent entered the room and caused the four pokemon to yawn and wake up.
  694.
  695. “Oh, Hi guys.” Tommy said.
  696.
  697. The Four Pokemon stretched and rubbed their eyes, as they looked at Tommy.
  698.
  699. “Oh, You’re our adopter?” The houndour asked.
  700.
  701. “Yep.” Tommy responded. “My name’s Tommy.”
  702.
  703. “Nice to meet you, I’m Hunter.” The houndour smiled.
  704.
  705. “My name’s Arrow.” The pidgey added.
  706.
  707. “Greetings, my name’s Chase.” The Growlithe responded.
  708.
  709. “And my name is Magma. It’s nice to meet you Tommy.” The Chimchar said.
  710.
  711. “Nice to meet you all.” Tommy said.
  712.
  713. Then, in unison, their five tummies all growled.
  714.
  715. “Breakfast sounds good.” Hunter said.
  716.
  717. “Let’s go take to Kanga!” Tommy said, as he and the Pokemon headed out of the room to see Kanga.
  718.
  719. ~~~
  720.
  721. Reggie opened the black door and found a room decorated to look like cozy home for four. In the right corner, in two bunk beds, slept a Vulpix, Oshawott, Poochyena, and a Machop, all four of them wearing black collars. “Adorable, but how am I going to take care of them if they’re asleep at the moment.”
  722.
  723. A icy blue mist created by magic entered the room and caused the four pokemon to wake up.
  724.
  725. “Good morning, you four.” Reggie said with a smile.
  726.
  727. “Oh, did you adopt us?” the Poochyena asked, yawning.
  728.
  729. “I certainly did.” Reggie said. “My name’s Reggie, What’s yours?” Reggie asked in response.
  730.
  731. “I’m Marshall.” The Poochyena responded.
  732.
  733. “I’m Erika.” The Vulpix yawned.
  734.
  735. “My name is Shell!” The Oshawott greeted.
  736.
  737. “And I’m Choppy.” The Machop introduced.
  738.
  739. “Good to meet you all.” Reggie said.
  740.
  741. In unison, Reggie and his four adopted pokemon all looked down at their tummies as they growled.
  742.
  743. “I guess it’s time for breakfast, everyone.” Reggie spoke as they left the room to see what Kanga had cooked for breakfast.
  744.
  745. ~~~
  746.
  747. From there things were great for the kids and their new adopters and friends.
