  1. Doru was the first born of his generation into a world full of ice. Feeding was rare, but Doru, along with a few of his siblings, fed on the mammals that lived around their home instead of humans and thus were often more able to perform their duties as some of the more elite vampires only fed on humans. This eventually led many of his family to violence as they tried to compete with the well fed vampires for the human blood. This ended many of their lives as well as exposed Doru to the politics of the vampire underworld.
  2. One night like any other, Doru's family traveled to the nearby human encampment to feed. Though this time, Doru decided to join instead of searching for wild game to satiate his thirst. When they arrived at the settlement, the leader spoke with Doru's father for a time, though Doru remembers not what they spoke of, but what beautiful women that stood before him. The Leader of the tribe had gathered the three most attractive women from his village as an offering to the vampires. As the two leader's discussion ceased, the man presented Doru with the first of the women, to whom he shook his head, being presented with the second woman, Doru approached and sank his teeth into the young girl's throat, draining all of the blood from her body. Doru's mind was frenzied from the rush of adrenaline human blood supplies.
  3. It was at this moment that Doru's mental powers were unlocked, he shattered the bones of all that stood in the village, including his family. Then he fed one by one from the entire village, killing the whole of his families food source. As some of the vampires began to regenerate, Doru approached each and touched each of them on the forehead, using his telekinetic powers to vaporize their brains.
  4. Doru has since gained great infamy by turning humans to his undead army. Doru has watched as kingdoms rise and fall, nations and countries that he witnessed the founding of. One night during a full moon, Doru ordered his followers to spread throughout the world and outlive him, they were free to attack him in order to fulfill his challenge.
  5. Many battles were held between Doru and his children, after many centuries he managed to kill off the ones that had hoped to fight him, leaving only the ones who planned to wait. This left Doru with little to do, and he has since disguised himself as a beggar in a major city, blindfolding himself and using the Orb of Sight that one of his soldiers plundered during the destruction of a certain kingdom.
