  1. [01:03:54 ][Theta] Sometime while all the economic and political business is going on in the elven city, Theta slips out and looks for Elizabeth. He doesn't have much to add to those discussions and has other things in mind.
  2. [01:07:46 ][Elizabeth] Elizabeth is actually up at the beacon, hmming and hawwing as she stares up at it from below. She's smoking her pipe, taking in long, thoughtful draws as she studies the floating orb.
  3. [01:11:03 ][Theta] He walks up beside her and glances at it briefly before turning toward her. "It's a pretty puzzling artifact, isn't it? Have you tried using it yet?"
  4. [01:13:52 ][Elizabeth] She was so lost in thought that she jumps a little, coughing and almost dropping the pipe. She rubs her face though, and shakes her head. "No, not yet. I was still actually trying to analyze it."
  5. [01:16:57 ][Theta] He chuckles and waves as she snaps out of her trance. "Sorry for startling you. Should have figured you might be a bit lost in thought. What have you figured out about it so far then?"
  6. [01:18:28 ]* DiceMaid-9001 is now known as HigginsvonHiggins
  7. [01:18:51 ]* HigginsvonHiggins is now known as DiceMaid-9001
  8. [01:23:19 ][Elizabeth] "It's... a bit odd." she says, fumbling with her words a moment. "It's not handled like magic typically is. It's... well, like reading another language, really. Same letters, same page, same ink, but different structure, different meaning, some things don't translate a hundred percent."
  9. [01:23:58 ][Elizabeth] "It seems they may have used magic a completely different way in their time."
  10. [01:24:57 ]* Elizabeth shakes her head though. "That's not really important, though. What'd you need?" she smiles, checking her pipe to make sure she didn't spill the lit tobacco.
  11. [01:28:17 ][Theta] "That so? I felt something was weird about it, but...well, I'm no mage after all. It's a bit beyond me. And...well, I just wanted to spend some time with you, just the two of us. Things have been sort of crazy lately and I haven't really been able to make good on all those promises I made yet."
  12. [01:29:02 ][Theta] "I figured you'd spend time with Lenore then anyway, so tried to be considerate of that...but that hasn't really been the case either huh?"
  13. [01:30:16 ][Elizabeth] "Oh, yeah..." she scratches her head with her free hand. "Yeah, I know what you mean. It's not like I mind waiting a bit, but..." when you say that, she laughs a bit. "I have been spending time with her, though maybe not as much as I'd like. I really need to make time for both of you... What'd you have in mind, anyway?"
  14. [01:33:55 ][Elizabeth] She takes another puff, letting it rise out of her nostrils as she tilts her head back.
  15. [01:34:46 ][Theta] "Really? Hrm..." He certainly didn't notice that, but maybe that's what got him into this mess anyway. "...It's gonna sound sorta corny buuuuut...well, you know your research on the effects of white magic on people's life spans right? Given what happened here I thought we might find something that might be relative to it. If not here in the city, outside of it for sure."
  16. [01:35:03 ][Theta] "I don't think any of us have poked around in the wilderness here yet."
  17. [01:36:36 ][Elizabeth] Liz seems a bit relieved you changed the subject there, she's not sure how you would have reacted to being told all about the hot night.
  18. [01:37:48 ][Elizabeth] "My research, hm? ...true, there's probably some merit in studying whatever the fuck phenomenon happened here. But that's your best idea for a date?" she teases.
  19. [01:42:40 ][Theta] "No, just the one I thought would be the funnest at the moment."
  20. [01:43:38 ][Theta] "It's sort of hard not to come up with silly ideas when you can teleport!"
  21. [01:44:13 ][Theta] "Did you want to at least try using this thing before going anywhere though?" He nods to the beacon and takes hold of her free hand.
  22. [01:45:05 ][Elizabeth] She squeezes your hand, looking up. "Curiosity's tugging at me... only if you think we have enough time."
  23. [01:46:40 ][Elizabeth] "I mean, hey, I can always come back later if need be."
  24. [01:47:02 ][Elizabeth] "Lead on, either way."
  25. [01:50:03 ][Theta] "Well we're here anyway, so might as well. Come on," He leads her over to the chairs and sits her down in one, and then takes a seat in the one next to her. "It points to about anything you're thinking about, even if it's creaters had no context of it."
  26. [01:50:57 ][Theta] He thinks about the areas that surround this city to demonstrate, then of Elizabeth.
  27. [01:54:40 ][Elizabeth] She has a seat and you concentrate on the surrounding area - there are rolling hills that thin out into marshlands to the northwest, plains to the east, the whole of the sea around to the south and east, and north marks the start of a great forest that coincides with the bog in a few places. Then the beacon focuses on Elizabeth and she flusters a bit. "Can you do that no matter where I am?"
  28. [01:54:40 ][Elizabeth] she asks. She thinks 'Theta's ass' without having realized you can tell what the others sitting down are searching for. The view zooms in on Theta's tail for a moment. "...wait, we both see this, don't we."
  29. [01:56:55 ][Theta] "Yup! And If you were overseas, it'd point in your direction from the shoreline...why do people always seem so interested in my tail, anyway?" he ponders out loud.
  30. [01:58:19 ][Theta] "I don't get how it works at all, but it's rather useful. Like...the marshlands would probably be a poor place to explore, but the forest might prove interesting."
  31. [01:58:30 ][Elizabeth] "More abouts what it's attached to. Mmm. Anyway... this seems ridiculously useful, yes."
  32. [01:58:58 ][Elizabeth] "Think the wildlife and the trees are frozen in time as well?"
  33. [02:00:23 ][Theta] He gets up and then helps her up. "Only one way to find out, hm?"
  34. [02:03:18 ]* Elizabeth nods and stands up, finishing her smoke and tapping the pipe upside down to get rid of loose ash, before putting her pipe away. "Scientific method, here we come."
  35. [02:04:52 ][Theta] After that they'd go down into the city to try to find a Chocobo Stable for a ride over. Or failing that walking.
  36. [02:06:47 ][Elizabeth] Less 'stables' and more of a 'cave' that's connected to the lower part of the city - there's actually a good bit of Tir na Antae that's underground. The chocobos are nesting inside the entrance to a cave lined with straw and several elves looking after them. The mouth of the cave faces north towards the forest
  37. [02:08:25 ][Elizabeth] You get a pair of chocobos no problem and ride out towards the north woods - there's a bit of a path leading into the rich coniferous trees. Pine needles bed the entire floor of the forest it seems, and it's unearthly quiet as you head in.
  38. [02:09:33 ][Elizabeth] The trees are thick enough to blot out much of the sun, giving mostly dim light to the area. A stag is in mid-leap over a frozen stream, and an odd, furry duck-like creature was in the middle of taking a sip, itself.
  39. [02:09:57 ][Elizabeth] There does seem to be a well-used path through the woods as well, leading further north.
  40. [02:11:26 ]* Theta brings the Chocobo to a stand sill at each of these animals, frozen in time, just to take in the sight. "It's absolutely puzzling. Why did everything just stop? Our gut instinct was that nothing would be alive here. The entire catastrophy...wasn't really that big of one at all."
  41. [02:12:31 ][Elizabeth] She slows down. "Well... I dunno. I asked Fimble a little more about it. Different things seem to have happened across the world."
  42. [02:13:01 ][Elizabeth] "While the elves seemed to only 'disappear', apparently most humans were obliterated."
  43. [02:14:00 ][Elizabeth] "And conditions on his home continent seemed to... accelerate oddly with plantlife decaying and the weather growing hotter. Going by what we've learned I'd assume the Feymarch was the Outer Continent."
  44. [02:15:15 ][Elizabeth] "It's not that it wasn't a catastrophe, it was just... a hugely inconsistent one."
  45. [02:15:45 ][Elizabeth] "Worlds colliding, unpredictable results... I would have loved the chance to study that, if it weren't several millenia before our time."
  46. [02:15:57 ][Elizabeth] She pauses by the deer, looking at it.
  47. [02:16:23 ][Theta] He shakes his head. "It's still weird to think that the man who caused all this is the same one who I owe my existance too. Even if it had absolutely nothing to do with -me-, can't help but feel odd about it."
  48. [02:17:08 ][Theta] "Why do you think the touch of someone who isn't frozen undoes it?"
  49. [02:17:13 ][Elizabeth] "You shouldn't feel guilty or anything. 'The sins of the father' and all that bullshit have nothing to do with you."
  50. [02:17:16 ][Elizabeth] "Hmm..."
  51. [02:17:25 ]* Theta looks to the trees as well. Is the plantlife frozen as well?
  52. [02:17:31 ][Elizabeth] Yes, indeed.
  53. [02:18:43 ][Elizabeth] "Never really cared for some of the things my father did, anyway. ...Welll, at first I'd assume it's something like heat transfer."
  54. [02:19:09 ][Elizabeth] "When something that's literally frozen is exposed to a source of heat, there's an exchange of energy."
  55. [02:19:34 ][Elizabeth] "...I don't know if that would equate to THIS exactly, but that's part of the whole 'hypothesis' part."
  56. [02:19:36 ][Theta] "Dethawing them? That makes a hilarious amount of sense even if this looks like time magic."
  57. [02:20:36 ][Elizabeth] "It's probably an oversimplification."
  58. [02:20:50 ][Elizabeth] "But yeah, I'm not entirely sure..."
  59. [02:21:06 ][Elizabeth] She thinks a moment, and tries casting Cure on the deer.
  60. [02:21:23 ][Elizabeth] The magic surrounds the animal for a moment, and... the deer remains frozen in place.
  61. [02:21:29 ][Theta] "Hrm."
  62. [02:21:49 ][Theta] Theta hops off the chocobo briefly, finds a Pinecone, and lightly tosses it at the deer.
  63. [02:22:51 ][Elizabeth] There's a very light feeling of static as you pick up the pinecone, and a large ZAP as the pinecone bounces off the deer. It sails over the river, having kept its momentum, and runs off into the forest, stumbling a bit as it's confused by something.
  64. [02:23:07 ][Elizabeth] "Oh-ho, that's an interesting bit, right there."
  65. [02:24:34 ][Theta] He climbs back on the Chocobo. "Got shocked a bit when I touched the pinecone. I guess because of the seeds..."
  66. [02:24:44 ][Elizabeth] "Magic doesn't cause the reaction to happen, but unfrozen objects do, even if they're not currently being held. ...so why hasn't everything that's standing on the ground..."
  67. [02:25:17 ]* Elizabeth seems to have gone deep into thought again.
  68. [02:26:44 ][Theta] "We'll throw a rock at the next one." He jokes as he lets her think. He ushers the Chocobos to move along in the mean time.
  69. [02:27:01 ][Elizabeth] "If the effect weakens from the point of origin..." she watches the path the stag ran off on as some insects begin to stir, but some of the nearby plants haven't unfrozen either.
  70. [02:27:37 ][Elizabeth] Okay, you can head a little northwest to cross a small footbridge, or you can cross the stream directly.
  71. [02:28:24 ][Theta] Let's go with the footbridge.
  72. [02:29:19 ][Elizabeth] Okay, then. You take the path across the footbridge, Liz trailing behind before she rejoins you side by side. "This stasis effect is really interesting, you know."
  73. [02:30:16 ][Elizabeth] "If we could replicate it, we could potentially freeze patients with terminal illnesses until a point where we know how to safely combat those things. There'd be ethical issues of doing that too though, I guess..."
  74. [02:31:15 ][Elizabeth] "Or hell, even freeze yourselves and your loved ones for a few hundred years to see what the future is like if you get tired of this era. Haha, too bad that's a one way trip."
  75. [02:31:42 ][Theta] "Well, when you put it that way, my entire race is an ethical issue," he jests. "I can see it having useful applications but...just as things start to wake up around here, it will fade away before it can be studied, most likely."
  76. [02:32:29 ][Theta] "Or you'd be out of luck if no one ever shows up to wake you up," he responds to the later example.
  77. [02:33:11 ][Elizabeth] "That's true..."
  78. [02:33:57 ][Elizabeth] "Theta, have you ever felt that despite countless weeks, months, and years of research, the world just sometimes feels like a completely illogical construct?"
  79. [02:35:08 ][Elizabeth] "You make progress soimewhere, just to feel like... things utterly confound you at the next step? That's a lot like how my life has felt."
  80. [02:35:37 ][Elizabeth] This is a bit of an odd change of subject.
  81. [02:36:26 ][Theta] "Hah. Every day since I came to this world. I sort of figured that was a normal feeling..."
  82. [02:36:46 ][Elizabeth] She sighs a bit in relief.
  83. [02:38:03 ][Elizabeth] "It's good to hear I'm not alone there. I never really told you much about myself, did I?"
  84. [02:39:43 ][Theta] "I...guess not, no." He thinks on that a few seconds. "Never really thought on it much. I mean, I don't really have much to say you wouldn't know given you were literally the first person I met since I left the village."
  85. [02:41:08 ][Elizabeth] "Did that have an effect on you falling for me?" she nudges you, grinning a little. "I was a bit ruder at the time. A girl can't just open up to anyone."
  86. [02:45:09 ][Theta] He doesn't really get startled by it. "I certainly was upset when Tiamat wrecked that airship you were on and regretted not being able to speak with you before we left, but it's hard to explain just how much that month did to me. I was really happy when we did meet again. Hell, I was even keeping track of how many times I fell on you when we Teleported. So...yeah, I guess it kinda did."
  87. [02:45:57 ][Elizabeth] "I'm honestly not convinced yet you didn't just cop a feel and realized how much you liked it." she teases, before seriousing up a bit. "All of this, you taking me out here to do research... I'm thrilled to be out here, really, and especially with you.. Thank you, Theta. I'm glad I've found two wonderful, accepting people that I can share my feelings and desires with."
  88. [02:47:09 ][Elizabeth] "My father wouldn't approve of any of this at all." she blanches. "It's not lady-like." she says in a mocking, snooty tone.
  89. [02:50:13 ][Theta] "I'm glad you're here as well. I'm...not really sure what to think of your father, considering you don't seem to care much for him."
  90. [02:51:57 ][Elizabeth] "I've lived on my own in Treno for years now, but before my falling out with my family, I stayed at our family's estate. It's not like he was a bad parent, he's just... disgustingly conservative on many matters. Intolerant of anything that isn't pure heterosexuality, wanting to put me in an arranged marriage, insisting I study swordsmanship instead of magc like a proper young Alexandrian -
  91. [02:51:57 ][Elizabeth] Treno's barely even part of Alexandria these days, what does it even matter?"
  92. [02:52:08 ][Elizabeth] "You probably already have -some- opinion, I know you've heard of him."
  93. [02:52:26 ][Elizabeth] "I'm from the Knight family."
  94. [02:53:10 ][Elizabeth] "My father owns the weapon and armor businesses in Treno, as well as the colosseum."
  95. [02:54:19 ][Theta] "Ooooh..."
  96. [02:55:08 ][Elizabeth] "...s-sorry for ranting." she stammers after a moment.
  97. [02:55:19 ][Elizabeth] She seems to be a good deal embarassed.
  98. [02:55:55 ][Theta] "..." He looks genuinely confused on how to respond. "Why are you sorry?"
  99. [02:56:32 ][Elizabeth] "Eesh... I just... kind of let loose there. I don't need to burden you with worrying about all of that..."
  100. [02:57:41 ][Elizabeth] You've been riding now for some time, and in the distance, about this time, you spy an old temple-like building just off the path, covered in vines. There's a gentle glow pouring out of the windows, pulsing in and out in a time that contrasts with the absolutely frozen nature of the forest.
  101. [02:58:39 ][Elizabeth] "That and I usually pride myself on my composure, t-"
  102. [03:00:39 ][Theta] "I just don't really know what to say. I was born from a machine, just like all the girls were. It's hard for me to really wrap my head around what it's even -like- to have or be a parent..." :<
  103. [03:01:38 ][Theta] "I guess this makes your dad and I business rivals, though..." He looks over to this temple and pauses as he sees the windows.
  104. [03:02:59 ][Elizabeth] She pauses there, cringing. "...I'm sorry. I guess... I was also being inconsiderate of you."
  105. [03:04:01 ][Elizabeth] "What is that, anyway?"
  106. [03:07:26 ][Theta] He leans over toward her bird and tries to give her a very light noogie. "You're being silly. Of course I want to know more about you and help you with these things. Even if I don't understand, I'd gladly listen."
  107. [03:07:43 ][Theta] "...And I have no idea. Let's check it out!"
  108. [03:10:56 ][Elizabeth] "Blahgla" she's not used to being noogied, but she doesn't resist either. She ends up laughing and trying to shove you away. "Haha fine, okay, sorry for being sorry! I agree, let's investigate."
  109. [03:11:14 ][Elizabeth] She sits upright again and the two of you head over, dismount, and begin to walk up the steps.
  110. [03:13:52 ][Elizabeth] The temple looks old and overgrown, but not in a wild, unmanaged way. It seems to have been very well taken care of, in fact. The stonework isn't cracked at all, and the moss seems almost decorative. The slightly pyramidal building has one main features in the first room, a wide pool at about waist height, with a familiar, glowing green liquid-like substance inside. Several seats are scattered
  111. [03:13:52 ][Elizabeth] about, and there are a few frozen elves in meditation. Doors and stairs around seem to lead to living chambers and other such things - this is the main area of... worship? Something.
  112. [03:14:11 ][Elizabeth] It's definitely the same stuff you encountered in Madain Sari, however.
  113. [03:15:53 ][Elizabeth] "Hundred gil says this has to do with their shamans."
  114. [03:16:49 ][Theta] "...Huh. It's like the tree in Madain Sari," he nods to the pool. "Only that was a river, this is more like a lake. Certainly about their shamans though, yeah."
  115. [03:17:16 ][Theta] "Should we wake them?" He nods over to the elves.
  116. [03:19:06 ][Elizabeth] "Ooh, maybe I can do a little more studying, first..."
  117. [03:19:41 ][Elizabeth] "It's not as if they're suffering like this. And besides, we'll be hard-pressed to explain ourselves at the moment."
  118. [03:21:31 ][Elizabeth] "Still, if you want to wake them up and just send them back to town, your call."
  119. [03:21:59 ][Theta] "What's a few more minutes when it's been thousands of years, I guess? Go ahead," He takes a seat beside the pool and watches her do her thing.
  120. [03:25:58 ][Elizabeth] She nods and goes about, taking out some little instruments. Something that looks like a monocle, a bit of chalk, a vial of thick red liquid... she takes a swig of a potion every few minutes as she walks around, drawing circlles on the ground and examining them carefully.
  121. [03:28:30 ][Elizabeth] She snaps her fingers.
  122. [03:28:40 ][Theta] "Hm?"
  123. [03:31:56 ][Elizabeth] "I think they've been reduced to a state entirely of memory and form, but no energy. Magic is the opposite of that, right? This stuff in the pool, it's pure life force. You guys mentioned something about the beacon being moving still when you arrived too, right?"
  124. [03:32:53 ][Theta] "Right. It was..."
  125. [03:33:38 ][Theta] "...So basically you were right all along and this is basically a heat transfer, only in the form of energy."
  126. [03:34:56 ][Elizabeth] "Okay, so, all living creatures are connected to the core of the planet - even you, since your world had a crystal too. I don't think these guys are connected right now, though. But when they're touched... I think it's more kind of like capillary action. The crystal's energy is being drawn through us -and what we touch - in a slow, limited fashion like dyed water through a stalk of celery."
  127. [03:35:42 ][Elizabeth] "So... I think I may have been rightish in a broad sense, but I didn't have an idea how it worked exactly until now."
  128. [03:36:45 ][Elizabeth] "Freezing in place like they did... maybe that's a natural result of being completely cut off from the crystal's power."
  129. [03:38:09 ][Elizabeth] "The shock effect... is probably something like how you can build up electricity and shock yourself on a doorknob. Except we constantly pull power from the crystal, so it doesn't discharge."
  130. [03:38:54 ][Elizabeth] She gets rid of all the chalk circles.
  131. [03:39:03 ][Theta] This actually seems to rather confuse Theta. "I don't get why this wouldn't be fatal."
  132. [03:40:34 ][Elizabeth] "Well, I think I'm explaining it poorly. We're not like, transferring our souls into them or anything."
  133. [03:41:02 ][Elizabeth] "We're just acting as conduits for energy we already channel constantly."
  134. [03:41:36 ][Theta] "No, I mean...being severed."
  135. [03:42:36 ][Elizabeth] She thinks about it.
  136. [03:45:01 ][Theta] "The only sensible reason I've been able to think up about what plagues the members of my race born here is that the Crystal completely rejects them. So why would thousands of years be able to be repaired with a simple touch? I don't get it."
  137. [03:45:12 ][Theta] "I'm not saying you're wrong, it just doesn't add up."
  138. [03:45:46 ][Elizabeth] "...Well, I'm kind of making assumptions here. There might be other factors here that I don't understand or don't know about. But I'm THINKING if they got shunted into the Void, the innate properties of that place may have preserved their forms. Honestly I don't even know if this state could last that long back in this world... Or this could be the natural state of something severed from the
  139. [03:45:46 ][Elizabeth] crystal either way. We don't exactly know, so I may actually be off here."
  140. [03:45:59 ][Elizabeth] "Why don't you ask one of the girls to try and awaken one of the elves?"
  141. [03:46:30 ][Elizabeth] "That could put your theory to the test."
  142. [03:47:15 ][Elizabeth] "There are, of course, factors that are different between the apparent catastrophe of Elvaana and the spontaenous creation of all the girls..."
  143. [03:47:26 ][Elizabeth] "Argh, there are a frustrating amount of variables here."
  144. [03:48:34 ]* Elizabeth frowns. "Maybe I should hold off on this until I've figured everything -else- out."
  145. [03:49:08 ][Theta] "I -guess- that would work..." he doesn't seem terribly confident about it, however.
  146. [03:49:21 ][Elizabeth] "But... if my hypothesis has any basis, none of the black mages should be able to wake up the elves if they -are- severed themselves."
  147. [03:50:07 ][Theta] "None of the girls, yes. Vivi's Children and a few others? Maybe."
  148. [03:50:20 ][Elizabeth] "And if that's the case, there are differences between the two situations we're not aware of."
  149. [03:50:49 ]* Elizabeth sighs. "This doesn't get any clearer, does it."
  150. [03:51:09 ][Elizabeth] "I actually thought I had the right answer there, for a second, but I might be mistaken."
  151. [03:51:34 ][Theta] "You said it yourself earlier, right? Nothing really adds up the way you hope it will." He tries to laugh.
  152. [03:52:12 ][Elizabeth] She just punches you lightly on the shoulder.
  153. [03:53:14 ][Elizabeth] "Maybe I'm looking at it wrong.. maybe it's something to do with the girls' construction, and -you- just happen to be different from -them-."
  154. [03:53:40 ][Elizabeth] She bites her lip. "We'll figure it out, eventually. Either way this gives me a good deal of material to go over."
  155. [03:55:29 ]* Elizabeth mutters something about a thimble and a cup
  156. [03:57:02 ][Theta] "Sadly, all the secrets to that died with Garland and Terra. Least this silly idea for a date didn't turn out completely useless though." He looks down to the pool and swirls a hand in it.
  157. [03:57:24 ][Elizabeth] You feel a grand warmth flow through you.
  158. [03:57:40 ][Elizabeth] She leans on the edge of the thing and watches you.
  159. [04:00:04 ][Theta] He pulls his hand back out and looks at it. "It's like being covered in blankets. Comfortable feeling."
  160. [04:01:47 ][Elizabeth] She smiles, a bit. "I really do appreciate the thought... and really? That's nice..." She trails her hand in, too. "You know, speaking of being covered in blankets, we're technically all alone here. We could use the privacy to our advantage." she laughs. "...I'm kidding, I'm kidding. Not out in the foyer at least. Though... we really ought to find some time... We really haven't had a chance
  161. [04:01:48 ][Elizabeth] to be alone, have we?"
  162. [04:03:35 ][Theta] "It's been a bit crazy, yeah..."
  163. [04:05:28 ][Elizabeth] "You want to find a nice, cozy place to retire for a bit, then? Bet they won't expect us back for a while... ...wait, are you even ready for that? I don't want to rush things..."
  164. [04:09:16 ][Theta] "Granted, given your favorite spell, I don't think it'd be hard to find either a time or place," He focuses on the pool, attempting to beckon it to restore any mana Liz is missing via Cascade.
  165. [04:09:45 ][Theta] "Ready? Well..."
  166. [04:10:06 ][Elizabeth] She takes in the power, shivering for a moment.
  167. [04:13:40 ][Elizabeth] "I bet Adenine pretty much shoved you onto the bed and demanded you take your pants off. Well... look, I'm not -that- needy, I'm willing to wait if need be. I want you to be comfortable too, after all. And there are probably more opportune places anyway."
  168. [04:16:42 ][Theta] "..." He was going to avoid that topic, but, well she sorta went for it. He reddens a bit. "It's not like that. I do want to. I'd love to, in fact. This just wasn't the most...romantic affair I guess," He nods to the frozen elves.
  169. [04:18:50 ][Elizabeth] "Yeah..." Awwwkward.
  170. [04:20:03 ][Elizabeth] "Let's... just go back. I'm not sure why I brought that up here."
  171. [04:21:32 ][Elizabeth] She seems a bit embarassed too. "...sorry."
  172. [04:22:04 ][Theta] He takes hold of one of her hands with both of his. "That's fine. We'll do what you want, where and when. Alright?"
  173. [04:23:57 ][Elizabeth] "No, no, you're right, here's not so good." she reddens more. "I'm not really sure what I was thinking. Let's at least... set up a tent outside or something."
  174. [04:24:51 ][Elizabeth] She does take your hands, though, holding them close to her.
  175. [04:26:36 ][Theta] "Or just lay down a blanket in the forest? Not like anything is awake to mind." He laughs awkwardly. "Or we -could- just Teleport anywhere you'd want to go."
  176. [04:28:56 ][Elizabeth] "Just as long as you're comfortable." she nods, smiling.
  177. [04:29:44 ][Theta] "As long as you don't ask me to drink Oh Lala before hand." :B
  178. [04:30:17 ][Elizabeth] "My birthday isn't for a bit yet." she jokes.
  179. [04:31:33 ][Elizabeth] "Now, come on, you, before the mood gets spoiled more." she tugs at your hands playfully and slips an arm around your back.
  180. [04:34:59 ][Theta] He's not sure if she was kidding or not, but attempts to lift her off her feet and carry her outside. "Right, right. We'll find a nice field of flowers, and then..."
