  1. >you are an organism residing on the plane of physical existence
  2. >unlike a simpler creature such as a spider you are intelligent enough to know this
  3. >though not in such a complex manner
  4. >to put it simply
  5. >you are
  6. >you are aware of a sensation you cannot name
  7. >your first thought as a conscious entity is to ponder the name of this sensation
  8. >warm
  9. >you don't have the time to celebrate your discovery before you forget it and everything before it
  10. >you begin anew, but with slightly more thinking ability
  11. >Warm
  12. >dark
  13. >start over
  14. >warm
  15. >dark
  16. >others
  17. >start over
  18. >hurt
  19. >tired
  20. >you are thinking too much
  21. >you fall asleep
  22. >there is little difference
  23. >awake
  24. >you are aware of your awakeness because you can now see
  25. >you see a very dull redness
  26. >you are comforted by this despite not knowing anything of it
  27. >suddenly light
  28. >everywhere
  29. >your eyes hurt
  30. >everything is white
  31. >there is something in front of you
  32. >it is large and red
  33. >mother
  34. >this term comes from nowhere, you did not think it
  35. >you are overwhelmed with a feeling you cannot name
  36. >love
  37. >as before, you did not think this, it simply came to you
  38. >you want to make mother aware of this
  39. >there a loud cry, it hurts your sensitive ears and you wonder why it happened
  40. >mother smiles and leans into your face
  41. >you feel a warm moist thing rubbing your body
  42. >more cries
  43. >you are being moved
  44. >there is a fleshy thing in your face
  45. >food
  46. >you instinctively latch onto it and quickly fall asleep again
  47. >you are awakened by another sharp cry
  48. >it is much deeper and louder than your own
  49. >"Why baybeh huwt mumma? Mumma gif nummies!" the deeper voice says
  50. >There is a pang of sadness
  51. >You don't know what you did but you didn't mean to, you're hungry
  52. >You are aware of another close to you
  53. >You realize that she is referring to the other
  54. >something that mother said stuck with you
  55. >baybeh
  56. >baby
  57. >baby what?
  58. >the thought puts you right to sleep again
  59. >another term comes to you while you sleep
  60. >fluffy pony
  61. >you are a baby fluffy pony
  62. >you wake up in an unfamiliar place
  63. >it is cold, rough, and has green fluff all over it
  64. >you look down and notice a fluffy blue-gray thing on the ground near you
  65. >you have grown substantially
  66. >it's scary and unfamiliar, so you swing a forehoof at it
  67. >it moves just as you try to swing
  68. >You bite it instead
  69. "Owshies!"
  70. >suddenly you are lifted up into the air and placed on mother's stomach
  71. >you forget about your dilemma with a wave of happiness
  72. >mother has a funny face on
  73. >"Siwwy baybeh, why huwt baybeh weggie?"
  74. >you don't get it but soon forget it as you are placed near the fleshy food bits again
  75. >before latching on you are aware of the other next to you again
  76. >you finally get a good look at it
  77. >it is a pony like you, but it is different
  78. >instead of being gray-blue and fluffy like you it is nearly black and much more rough
  79. >you notice it has two large white things coming from its mouth
  80. >they look like the white things in mother's mouth when she talks but they're bigger and sharper
  81. >you feel around your own mouth to see if you have them
  82. >they're much smaller in your mouth
  83. >regardless something tells you that they shouldn't be there
  84. >all this thinking makes your head hurt, you latch on to the food spot again
  85. >the other pony does the same
  86. >you notice that the other does things much more slowly
  87. >as if it's hard for him to move with those big white things
  88. >the food spot jerks away as he latches on, it is tugged out of your mouth
  89. >mother picks up the other pony and brings it close to her face
  90. >she's making a scary face
  91. >her voice is loud
  92. >"Dummeh baybeh no geh nummies fwum mumma! Dummeh huwt mumma! Dum baybeh go 'way!" she yells
  93. >she tosses the other violently behind her
  94. >the sharp white things anchor it to the ground when it hits
  95. >you can hear its cries as it tries to get up
  96. >"Waah! Why phruffy no can moohfe?"
  97. >You turn to mother with tears in your eyes, still scared from her yelling
  98. "Why mumma make odda fwuffy go 'way? Why mumma lowdies? Mumma scawy!"
  99. >mother brings you close and nuzzles you
  100. >you are instantly comforted
  101. >"Sowwy baybeh, scawy dum fwuffy huwt mumma, mebbeh huwt baybehs. Mumma wuv baybehs. Mumma wuv yoo!"
  102. >this satisfies you immensely and you forget about the dumb fluffy with the weird mouth thingies
  103. >you still want another fluffy near you
  104. >mother sets you down in the grassies near a thing
  105. >it has fluff on its top and is very pretty colorful
  106. "New fwuffy? Fwend? Pway?"
  107. >the new fluffy doesn't respond
  108. >you have the urge to wrap your front around it tightly, and you do so
  109. >the fluffy doesn't respond and you don't have time to do it again as you're picked up and set on mother's back
  110. >"Siwwy fow no can gif huggies to fwowah! Huggies gif to fwuffies!" she says without turning to you
  111. >you are about to protest when suddenly mother shifts and starts moving
  112. >you instinctively dig deeper into her fluff where you are safe and there is less movement
  113. >there are other fluffies here, but they don't move
  114. >you try to give them huggies but they mewl weakly and push you away
  115. >"No wan...huggies...wan sweepy." one says
  116. >you curl into a ball and let out a weak cry
  117. >you just don't know what went wrong
  118. >you want a friend
  119. >mother speeds up a bit
  120. >the rhythmic movement lulls you to sleep
  121. >as you doze off again you can hear her voice
  122. >"Sewfis...aww nummies...Giv..mumma...baybeh miwk!"
  123. >you are a baby
  124. >you like milk
  125. >maybe mother is talking to you?
  126. >you are too tired to ponder this and go right to sleep
  127. >your lip tingles a bit and you twitch it
  128. >it doesn't stop and eventually wakes you up
  129. >you open your eyes slowly and look around
  130. >you can't find the twitching thing
  131. >it happens again and you look down your snout
  132. >there is a fuzzy black thing down there with many legs
  133. >fuzzy
  134. >it must be a pony
  135. >you smile and open your mouth to tell mother about this exciting new discovery
  136. "Mumma, new fwuffy fwiend hab lotsa leggies!"
  137. >she doesn't respond but you are far too concerned with your new friend
  138. >he's so happy he's wiggling his legs really fast
  139. "Hewwo new fwiend!"
  140. >it rears up
  141. >this is going to be a fun new game!
  142. >suddenly things get very dark

  144. >hurt
  145. >hurt
  146. >hurt
  147. "Owwies! Mumma hewp!"
  148. >you don't like this game
  149. >without thinking, you cry out all the things that are wrong
  150. "Dawk! Huwt! Mumma!"
  151. >mumma will help
  152. >fluffies will help
  153. >anybody will help
  154. >help
  155. >you can't think straight or form any words so you just make noise
  156. >it hurts too much
  157. >the pain starts to recede
  158. >mumma must be helping
  159. >you can't see her, it's dark
  160. >it's cold
  161. >you don't like it
  162. >you want a friend to hug you and make you warm and happy and better
  163. >something warm is going down your face
  164. >it reminds you of a safe place you can't remember entirely
  165. >you like that
  166. >you wonder where your friend with the weird mouth things went
  167. >you think you'll ask mother if you can visit sometime
  168. >you're getting sleepy
  169. >maybe a nap first
  170. >mother's fluff helps a bit but she's cold too
  171. >why is she cold?
