- Since the two Pokemon this round are mainly know as some of the best at preventing Defog / Rapid Spin in the tier for Offensive Teams, I decided to make a Spike Stack (original, I know).
- The team is based around Feraligatr and Lilligant, which works well together as they can remove eachother's checks : Fera will weaken Dragon-types and some Grass-types for Lilligant, while Lilligant will weaken most Grass-types thanks to Hidden Power Fire (mainly Ferroseed!) and stuff like Seismitoad and Poliwrath.
- LO Healing Wish Mesprit pairs well with those two, as it is a great wallbreaker able to deal with Dragalge, Vileplume, Seismitoad, and even weaken Steel-types for Lilligant. It can obv use Healing Wish to give a second life to any team member!
- Finally, Pawniard / Mismagius / Crustle form the entry hazards core. Crustle sets up Stealth Rock and stack Spikes as much as possible, while the other two can easily prevent the opponent from removing the entry hazards.
- If people are wondering what the EVs for Feraligatr are for; it lets Feraligatr outspeed Max Speed Pawniard. Colbur Berry on Mismagius is also really good; it let Mismagius switch more easily on Fighting-types without having to fear for Knock Off, and it also helps the team to check Shiftry to take some pressure off Pawniard's shoulders to check it. Shiftry is also the reason why I have Rindo Berry on Feraligatr; I wanted to make sure I wasn't too weak to it, and with 2 lures + a counter, the team should be fine. (Mystic Water and Lum Berry does work on Feraligatr, although you will need to be more careful around a well played Shiftry).
- As for different options: You can probably go with Choice Scarf Mesprit over this set if you feel like this team needs more Speed for some reasons, but I don't think it is needed.
