Dev and Faiz Spend a Ngiht at Freddy's

"...tell me again how we both got the same job?"
Devon glanced around the messy security office, still dumbfounded how Faiz also got to work at Freddy's.
"I guess it was just my charming character~"
Devon couldn't help but laugh at that.
"Yes, because you just *ooze* charm."
Just as Faiz was about to retort, the phone rang. Before they could answer, the recording machine went off.

"Hello. Helloo. Ehh I wanted to record a message for you to help you get settled down on your first night. Uhm I actually worked at that office before you. I am finishing up my last week now as of matter of fact so I know it can be overwhelming but I am here to tell you that there is nothing to worry about. You'll do fine."

"Huh, guess we aren't the only ones working here." Devon commented, grabbing the tablet with the video feeds.
"Think we should keep listening?" Faiz asked,
"Sure, might tell us how to make this night shift more tolerable."

"So lets just focus on getting you through the first night. Okay lets see...uhm...first there is a introductory reading for the company that I am supposed to read. Its kinda a legal thing you know. Uhm...'Welcome to Freddy Fazzbear's Pizza, a magical place for kids and grown ups alike, where fantasy and fun come to life. Frazzbear Entertainment are not responsible for damage, property, or person on discovering of damage or death has occurred. A missing person report will be made within 90 days and the death of a person will be cleaned with bleach and the carpets will be cleaned...' blah blah blah."

Devon suddenly felt a chill travel down his spine, "What was that about death?"
Faiz told him to shush as the message continued.

"Now that might sound bad I know but there is nothing to worry about. The animatronic puppets become quirky at night but do I blame them? No! If I were forced to sing those same stupid songs for 20 years and never got a bath I'd probably would be irritable at night to. So remember these characters hold a special place in the hearts of children and show them a little respect right?"

"See Devon, we all deserve a little respect." Faiz said
"Should I REALLY respect the guy who tried to peep at me while I showered?"
The albino let out a nervous chuckle, "Maybe?"
He was promptly kicked in the crotch.

"Ok so just be aware that the characters tend to wander a bit. Uhm they have some sort of free roaming mode at night uhm, something about their servos locking up or they get turned off for too long. Uhm they used to be allowed to walk around during the day to but then there was the bite of 1987. Yeah its amazing that the human body can live without the frontal lobe ya know."

The two shuddered.

"Now concerning the only real safety during the night watch if any is the fact that these characters if they happen to see you after hours probably wont recognize you as a person. They'll most likely see you as a metal endoskeleton without its costume on. Now since that is against the rules of Freddy's Frazzbears pizza they'll probably forcefully stuff you inside a Freddy Frazzbear suit. Uhm well that wouldn't be so bad if the suit themselves weren't filled with crossbeams, wires, and animatronic devices especially around the facial area. So you can imagine having your head being pressed inside those would cause a bit of discomfort and death."

"Wow, that sure isn't unnerving." Devon said in a half-sarcastic, half frightened tone. The thought of his body getting shoved in one of those things terrified him.

"The only parts that will see the light of day will be your eyeballs and teeth that will pop out of the mask. Yeah they don't tell you these things when you sign up but hey see you first thing tomorrow. Uhm check those cameras and remember to close those doors only if they are absolutely necessary. Got to conserve power. Alright good night."

By now, the two were shaking in their shoes, both unnerved by the message.
"Faiz?"
"Yes Devon?"
"Stay by the doors, please."
"O-Ok."
The two got into position, preparing themselves for their first--and possibly last--night.

"Ok, so to be clear: You watch the monitors while I get the buttons."
"Yeah." Devon sat down on the chair and tried to relax himself, "'cuz this looks like it's gonna be a fight for our lives."
"Let's get through it then." Faiz said with confidence.

Devon's watch let out twelve beeps, signaling midnight. Taking a deep breath, he began to look through the feeds.
"Ok, all the bots looks to be in place." He commented as he flipped through them. Aside from the dim lighting, the place was as still as he expected it to be.
"Maybe that guy said it as a prank." Faiz wondered aloud as he looked out into the dark halls.
"Hopefully."
Just then, he noticed something at Pirate Cove.
"What the...?"
The animatronic was peeking out from the curtain. It's cold, lifeless eyes staring right at him. Unable to tolerate the stare any more, he quickly flipped back to the other screens.

"H-Hey Faiz?"
"Yes, Devon?"
"T-Turn on the light on the left, would you?"
"Sure."
Slowly, Fiaz walked over and pressed the button labeled 'lights'

"Aaaaaaaaahh!"
Standing by the door was the robot rabbit called Bonnie. Although it was just a machine, the way it looked at them was akin to a carnivore about to pounce on it's prey.
"SHUT THE DOOR! SHUT THE DOOOR!"
Faster than his brain could process what he was doing, Faiz dove towards the 'Door' button and locked it. What came next was a hard *thunk* as, what they believed, Bonnie lunged towards them. A few moments later, they could hear the frightening thing retreat.
"Press the lights again and see if it's still there."
Doing as commanded, Faiz turned on the light and begrudgingly looked out. Bonnie was no longer there.
"It's gone."
Devon sighed in relief. "Good, open the door again. I'll tell you if another one comes close again."

2AM arrived slowly, the two on edge after the Bonnie incident. Just as the clock sounded the hour change, Devon yelled.

"T-The fox. It moved again."
Devon could now see the fox clearly. Unlike the others, it was in disrepair. Again, it stared right at him.
"Let's hope it doesn't move more, right?" Faiz said, looking over his shoulder. Just then, his face went even paler than usual.
"Faiz?"
Devon watched as the albino ran from one end of the room to the other, slamming the door button with a dive. The next thing that came was a clank.
"What the--"
"Chica. She was there!" He yelled
"Sh-She was?! I didn't even..."
"T-They must know we're watching." Faiz could feel a cold sweat forming. He never thought this job would be so heart-racing.
As the night drew on the robots were coming more frequently, keeping the two on edge. At some point, the began to wonder aloud if they would live to see dawn.

"Bonnie on the right!" Devon yelled. just as the machine came into view, Faiz shut the door.
They began to feel as if they finally got the hang of things. With their slow pace, they felt almost invincible.
Just then, they heard something clanking. Fast.

"What was that?" Faiz asked,
Devon looked at the tablet and flipped through the areas. When he got to Pirate Cove, his blood froze.
"Foxy's gone."
"Gone?!"
The clanking was getting closer. Devon flipped to the nearest feed.
What he saw next made his heart stop.
"IT'S COMING!"
By now, the clanking was just mere feet outside. Tossing the tablet aside, Devon ran to the other side of the room and quickly slammed the door shut, just before the fox could get through the doorway.
"T-Too close."
"Yeah...."
Their breathing was ragged, and their nerves were shot from the night. By now, they thought the night couldn't get worse.

They didn't realize how wrong they were.

A few minutes after the Foxy encounter, the power died out.
"The fuck?!" Devon yelled.
"Devon, why did the power die out?"
"I think we went over the limit."
The two blindly moved towards each other, their weak night vision serving as their only guide.
"Think it's over?"
"I don't know, Faiz. Maybe?"
Just then, they heard something akin to a music box. On their right, they saw the eyes of titular Freddy flashing at them.

"Oh no." The two muttered.
They held each other as they heard the bear move slowly inside the room. This was the end for them.
"F-Faiz?"
"Y-Yes Devon?"
"S-Seeing as we're going to die here, I wanted to say that I always did sorta like you."
"R-Really?"
"Y-Y-Yeah."
By now, Freddie was standing before them. Accepting their fate, the two shut their eyes.

*DING*DONG*DING*DONG*DING*DONG*
6AM.
When the two opened their yes, they realized that they had survived.
"I can't believe it." Devon began to laugh, "We made it! We made it!"
The two let out their cheers as they had survived a night they never expected. But as their joy dwindled down, Faiz decided to bring something up.

"So you DO like me."
"No I don't. And if you know what's good for you, that little fact is going to stay in here."
"And what if I do tell someone?' Faiz asked. Devon simply pointed behind the young albino.
"What is it?" Turning around, Fazi found himself face-to-face with Freddy. in that stalled moment, Devon ran out towards freedom, leaving Faiz to his demise at the hands of the anamatronic bear.

A few days later, they would find a piece of white hair stuck in the gears of one of Freddy Fazzbear's bots.
