[I]CLANG![/I]

Azure reared back and growled. This little Pegasus looked weak enough that she thought she would be able to make this quick so she could move on to whatever guard was posted here. Some cripple. The royal bastards would hire anyone. She hadn’t expected this scrawny thing to be armed, let alone fast enough to block her falchion.

“A fighter, have we?!” she cackled, lifting her falchion again with her magic as the Pegasus poised herself. The little mare looked terrified, but still, here she was facing the maniac down, even though she couldn’t see her clearly. For not only was it pitch black in this alleyway, a perfect place for a pony like Azure to hide, it had also started to rain, lowering visibility even further. But still the little bitch stood firm, even when she was shaking in her spot.

“G-get out of m-my way…” the voice didn’t just sound frightful, but… angry. “I’ll k-kill you too if I h-h-have to…”

Azure just laughed. “Go ahead and try! I’ll have [I]both[/I] your wings to say for it!”

The falchion flew toward Violet again, but she rolled out of the way just as she saw the glow of the telekenesis spell near her. However, it continued to follow her. She swung her kitchen knife to knock it to the wayside, but hit it wrong, so it wound up falling and carving a gash into her leg. She hissed in pain, and just barely missed a few shards of glass flying at her. Much as she didn’t like the guard, [I]where were they?![/I]

The killer mare was beginning to get visibly angry now. “Hold still, you little cunt!!”

All around poor Violet, the light of telekenesis popped up all around her. The crazed mare was exerting all she had to make sure that she would [I]die[/I]… but there was one place she couldn’t go.

Obviously, she wasn’t able to avoid all of them, and Violet was struck by a few broken shards on her flank. Blood was already dripping down below with the rain from her first gash, and now more came forth from the fresh wounds. And they [I]stung[/I], too…

She didn’t manage to see to her side until it was too late, and a large plank smacked her over the head and out of the air.

Azure loomed over her. “Now now, little horse fly, there’s no avoiding fate…”

It dawned on her that she still had the cherry bombs in her bag from earlier. Ohhh, she hoped they were dry enough to light up, she fished through it for them- yes! She barely managed to roll out of the way of a blow that probably would’ve killed her as she just barely managed to get the fuse lit with a spare match. The falchion flew once again at her as she chucked the bomb…

[I]BOOOOM![/I]

Azure reared back, dropping the TK spells she had been holding up. That had hit her across the side, and she was reasonably sure she was pretty badly burnt now… but all it did was make her angrier. [I]Much[/I] angrier.

Then suddenly, she heard hooves approaching. A board would fly up and slam into Violet, smacking her into a nearby wall and knocking her out as the stranger approached.
