$wtf_is_this?
local-non-off-line is a site specific netart installation. the second in a series of local-non projects, this installation incorporates a webpage that presents artwork only accessible via location-check at ebertplatz in cologne, germany.
the first local-non was launched septembre 2013 in berlin, in cooporation with km.temporaer gallery (more info here http://bit.ly/1id2t60 )


$oohm_where_will_this_crap_happen?
ebertplatz in cologne is considered one of the current underground non hotspots in germany. four off-space galleries are located around an offbeat square, creating a vibrant place for new and fresh impulses into the rhinelands contemporary non scene.

three of the galleries at ebertsplatz will show and (thankfully!) support to the local-non-off-line installation:

$aha_and_when?
local-non-off-line will launch one week prior to art cologne on april 4, 2014. each gallery will promote the project from april 10-16 to attract the many collectors and art enthusiasts who traditionally make their rounds through colognes underground galleries during the art fair.

$what_ist_this_local-non_about?
the theme for this local-non project is "off-line". it reflects both the non-traditional gallery spaces at ebertplatz as well as our inherent need to venture off-line if we want to stay sane… or free. it reflects the idea of being disconnected and of being released from a line.

artwork for local-non-off-line may include anything that can be shown on a webpage


$who_may_contraibute?
selected netartists from the rhineland and around the world are invited to participate. feel free to forward this to friends. every piece that fits to the idea of "local non & off-line" will be in the show.
