There is currently a major threat with RS account security. Please read this entire thread, it contains very important information.
(Note to admins: This is not an appeal to get my account back, this is a PSA)
My main account was hacked by a hacker known as Bluetac/Swan in the RS underground community. Both of my computers are completely clear of malware, I use the RS authenticator and have a pretty much uncrackable password.

They gained access to not only my RS account, but my Facebook, youtube, gmail, yahoo as well as many other accounts I probably forgot I owned. Now, I had a friend PM me in game to see what the hacker wanted. See screenshots below

The hacker is attempting to blackmail me into giving him my pin, so he can take my bank. Obviously, I refused to give up my pin, which made him bot my account killing cows. On top of that, he posted this on the forums http://puu.sh/oJXOL.jpg

He was attempting to blackmail me into deleting the twitter reports I made on him. It is incredibly likely, in fact almost guaranteed then when this post gets attention he is going to take control of my account again, bot it, and probably get it banned. But I feel like this is an experience I have to share with you all, and especially with Jagex.
He claims there is a database with IRL information about RS players. He PMed me my exact home address, phone number, birthday, a transaction ID for membership back in 2013, he knew everything. For all intents and purposes, he WAS me. And that's how he took control of my account. http://imgur.com/XUOceEX
Be very careful who you give your contact information to, because the only thing somebody needs to take control of your entire online life is your IRL name.
