  1. 18:57 (Soepkip) Okay, so how this works is we have a stratum server that sends out shares
  2. 18:57 (Soepkip) They get mined
  3. 18:57 (Soepkip) And sent back
  4. 18:58 (Soepkip) No what the old database did is record those shares up to a certain point
  5. 18:58 (Soepkip) This means that although the stratum kept sending shares to the database for record keeping
  6. 18:58 (Soepkip) The database did not save them
  7. 18:58 (Soepkip) If you have two addresses at the same hash
  8. 18:58 (Soepkip) and 100 shares
  9. 18:59 (Soepkip) the problem would cause 30 to record on address 1
  10. 18:59 (Soepkip) and 15 on address 2
  11. 18:59 (Soepkip) so when payout came along
  12. 18:59 (Soepkip) those 100 shares where divided als 66% to address 1 and 33% to address 2
  13. 19:00 (Soepkip) So that is why we saw a lot of users happy with their pay out
  14. 19:00 (Soepkip) and lots of users not getting much / any payout
  15. 19:00 (Soepkip) We have fixed this issue now
  16. 19:00 (Soepkip) and all shares are being properly recording in the database
  17. 19:01 (Soepkip) The team did about 5 hours on payouts, checking every little bit of math involved and every did get his fair share for the mining.
  18. 19:01 (Soepkip) This issue is now solved
