Assassin's Creed Error Fix

Assassins Creed Sound Fixing :

1)Open the registry editor by typing regedit in the ‘Run‘ window.
2)Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionUninstall
3)Right click on ‘Uninstall‘, select New and then Key.
4)Name the key: {8CFA9151-6404-409A-AF22-4632D04582FD} (just copy and paste)
5)Right click on this key and select New and then String Value.
6)Rename it to: DisplayVersion
7)Double click on it and under Value Data type: 1.00

Current possible solution or those who receive any errors while playing the game
1. For those who receive Configuration error check number 1.

1. It's a registry problem.
If you receive this type of error below :
Code:

Failed to start the game, cannot find essential information in the registry.

Configuration error: 0x0002
Configuration error: 0x0003

Here is how to fix it :

Open the game folder and double clicke "AssassinsCreed_Game" and it will work.
I then create a short cut.

OR
Code:

1) Right click the link to Assassin's Creed, select properties.
2) Don't change any of the link EXCEPT the file name. Change it from AssassinsCreedlauncher.exe to AssassinsCreedgame.exe
3) Apply and enjoy.

Simply linking to the game instead of the launcher (which finds updates) seems to fix the registry problem.
