  1. You take a black color, and make a new layer. Color it black where you want it to be shaded, and then, lower the "opacity" to around a place of 10% - 30%, just so it doesn't look way too dark, in my opinion; if the shading looks way too dark, it would ruin the drawing. I mostly use 27% to shade, just so it looks kind of natural
