autolgnpst-tSilenzio manual instructions if the .bat fails...

but first.. you DID install the autolgnpst-tSilenzio.zip version correct?
and you DID extract the .zip file and run the install.bat from the extracted folder?
and you DID "right mouse click" on the install.bat file and select "Run as Administrator"?
and you DON'T have an annoying overprotective antivirus running??
and you DON'T have any old LGNPST files still installed?
any previous components files? Should ALL be uninstalled first if so.

if all else fails try installing "autolgnpst-tsilenzo" manually.


:: Install the LG Drivers

Run the tSilenzio's Automated LGNPST\LGNPST_Files\LGUnitedMobileDriver\Setup.exe file.


:: Install LGNPST, GenericModels and Compontents

1. Run the tSilenzio's Automated LGNPST/LGNPST_Files\LGNPST_ACG\LGNPST_ACG.msi file.
2. Run the tSilenzio's Automated LGNPST/LGNPST_Files\GenericModels\GenericModels.msi file.
3. Run the tSilenzio's Automated LGNPST/LGNPST_Files\Components\Components.msi file.


:: Copy the "modified" .exe
(missing this step will give you a dongle error when trying to run LGNPST_ACG)

Copy the LGNPST_Files\LGNPST_ACG\LGNPST_ACG.exe file
Stick it in your LGNPST Folder(overwriting the current one)
On 32-bit Windows: Program Files\LG Electronics\LGNPST
On 64-bit Windows: Program Files (x86)\LG Electronics\LGNPST


:: Copy the DLL files
(missing this step results in the commands for registering dll files below will fail)

Copy all of the dll files in "tSilenzio's Automated LGNPST\LGNPST_Files\DLL_Files\"
and stick them in your LGNPST folder...
On 32-bit Windows: Program Files\LG Electronics\LGNPST
On 64-bit Windows: Program Files (x86)\LG Electronics\LGNPST


:: Register the DLL files
This is where n00bs will fail because anything in command prompt scares you.

Open Command Prompt as Admin(right mouse click on cmd.exe and "run as administrator")
Start Button > All Programs Accessories > Command Prompt

On 32-bit Windows type the following 3 commands:

cd c:\Program Files\LG Electronics\LGNPST\
regsvr32 LGNPST_LS970.dll
regsvr32 LGNPST_Utility5.dll


On 64-bit Windows type the following 3 commands:

cd c:\Program Files (x86)\LG Electronics\LGNPST\
regsvr32 LGNPST_LS970.dll
regsvr32 LGNPST_Utility5.dll


That should be it!! LGNPST is now set up.
Run it from your "Program Files > LG Electronics > LGNPST folder... LGNPST_ACG.exe.

If everything "works" but you cant select a .dll.. then you failed at registering the dlls
The steps I've listed work for me :(

If all of the above fails and you cant get it installed for whatever reason...
1. Try a different computer.
2. Install virtualbox or vmware and install windows 7... bit extreme but will work.
