The Book Girl cover for the Yen Press edition does feature the original cover art from the Japanese volumes, it has merely been framed by the sepia-tone library background. We will not be producing a book cover as we did for Spice and Wolf. In our efforts to get these novels in the hands of non-manga readers, retailers have encouraged us to downplay the manga-style cover art of the originals. We did make an effort to include the cover art for Book Girl while producing a more mainstream cover, so I hope you will still check out the novels upon their release, as it is a very good read.
