Roen – It's his stage name because he wasn't creative at the time they asked him, so he just used a nickname, Roen. He likes the nickname a lot so it doesn't bother him at all. Plus, "Charoen" means to flourish and he likes it a lot.
►| NICKNAME(S):
Roen – His mom just started calling him that, and it became a family nickname. Then, his friends started calling him that so it just came to be. He doesn't react to it negatively because he's so used to it.

ChaCha – Because of the fact that he has "Cha" in his name and he likes to dance, it matches him a lot. One of his friends gave it to him when they were hanging out in the dance studio, and that friend just started calling him that. It was a bit weird at first because everyone just calls him Roen, but he got used to this nick name too.

Roen is still dealing with the citizenship stuff in Korea and is getting closer to becoming a Korean citizen though.

►| HISTORY:
Roen was born into a Christian family, his parents weren't married so that made him a child out of wedlock (lowkey don't know if that's the right way to phrase it but screw it). If a child is born out of wedlock, they're considered a "bastard" and that's what he was called. His "father" was never at hope so his mother always had to take care of him. He was practically an accident if you wanna get technical, but his mother still loved him and took care of him. His mother decided that them two would move to Bangkok to get away from everyone because she wanted her son to live a happy life.

It was a bit of a struggle since they were alone in Bangkok, and Charanya had to get a job at some point. She decided to make friends quickly because you always need friends at some point. Another reason that Charanya moved to Bangkok is to start a business as a vocal teacher. She was an amazing singer and wanted to give people vocal lessons.

Roen was five when they moved to Bangkok so he had just started school. Yet, at the same time, he was exposed to the entertainment world with all these singers that were being shown on buildings. His mother would always sing to him, and he wanted to sound like her because it sounded really good. He was a naïve child at the time, but really bubbly and happy about the world. He didn't realize what he would have to go through to become a  BIG singer.

It was only just a thought on his mind until he grew older. It had actually became his dream after seeing videos online and kids at his school singing. They were so talented and he wanted to be just like them. He was only 11 years old and still in primary school (according to the Thailand Education system) but always thought carefully about things. He was really smart in school and made good decisions. After thinking about how he wanted to be a big singer, he asked his mom for vocal lessons because she was all he had. Charanya agreed and they started quickly. He did vocal lessons until he was finished with school because of puberty and all.

Once he was 18, there were global auditions happening in Thailand and he wanted to audition so bad because that's what all his hard work was for. Charanya let him audition because after all, she wanted her son to be happy. Yet, she wasn't feeling happy at all. It wasn't about what he wanted to do, it was about her body. She wasn't feeling good at all and was continuously getting pain. She had found out that she had breast cancer which is absolutely devastating when her son is about to leave her to go to a different country. Roen was thinking really hard on deciding to actually go to Korea after he got accepted. Charanya wanted him to live his dreams and actually pushed him to do it because there's a reason why there are hospitals.

It had been about a couple months after Roen moved to Korea, but he had got the call from his mother's friends (who are practically aunts to him) saying that she had died from breast cancer. As a trainee, it was even harder because they wouldn't let him leave, but he just worked harder for his mother.

The highest level of education he would have right now is college but college is optional in Thailand. He has done his first 12 mandatory years of schooling already.


[03] WHO YOU ARE.

►| PERSONALITY: Roen is practically the weirdest one in the group but the most entertaining. He's always pulling pranks on the members to give everyone a little laugh. He's also moody and loud in every single way. While sleeping, while showering, while literally trying to lay down. Everyone will know what he is doing because he is so clumsy that people believed he was dropped on his head when he was little. He just says that he's loud in general (and wasn't  dropped on his head) but no one believes him.

Roen can get pissed off easily, causing him to probably throw something at you. While he may have a cute face, his smile can turn upside down in two seconds. You can lose his loyalty fast too if you break a promise or piss him off majorly. He's all about loyalty so if you lose him, it's forever. You won't ever gain his trust ever (because of his "father" who was never there). While Roen may be seen as all over the place (because he kind of is), you have to support him because he doesn't have his mother in this world. He's somewhat fragile at times but doesn't wanna show it to people. He doesn't wanna be seen as something different than to what he shows people, the happy and bubbly Roen.

He's more likely to step up and stand out by doing wild things. He'll interrupt the hosts (not to be rude but for comedy) and say something. He doesn't mind doing weird things because that's what he practically does all the time. He's actually very comfortable on variety shows because he's practically acting like himself still.
►| VARIETY INTERESTS:
He would like to be on Weekly Idol because that's the most comedic. They can show their talents there too so that's another thing that he likes about it. Doni and Coni are funny too and he likes that because that's probably why they host the show.

He doesn't want to be on Running Man because he hates being extremely active and running around to find something because he gets pissed easily if he can't find something. He wouldn't mind being on After School Club though because it's for the international fans.

He says it simple and to the point but also complimenting himself by calling himself handsome. He'll probably do something cute after because that's what some people see him as, but definitely not members because they've seen the wrath of him.

►| INSPIRATIONS/IDOLS: why did they want to become an idol? who do they idolize and why
Mainly, it was because of his mother who sang very well but he was also inspired singers in Thailand. When he first moved to Bangkok and exposed to the entertainment industry, he wanted to join it. His mother being a vocal teacher was an inspiration because she practically taught him how to sing. His wonderful voice was because of her and she still inspires him to be the best he can be.

He has to somewhat control himself from being too loud to break the microphones. It's only a slight difference though, but he still makes the members go deaf. On stage, he will hype up the crowd easily with some screaming and fanservice so he's not that different. On camera, he'll be at a normal voice level most of the time but there will be a few moments that the members have to face their daily hardships.

►| OFF CAMERA/STAGE:
He's basically the same as there is no reason to act fake on stage or in front of the camera. He doesn't wanna be seen as a fake artist and actually wants the fans to know the real him instead of practically a different person on camera.

►| FANSERVICE:
Roen would probably do some gay stuff to get a reaction out of the fans like trying to hug them all of a sudden or asking for a piggy back ride. To the fans, he'll do whatever they request and he'll probably act cute. He likes to blow a lot of kisses to the fans for some reason but they enjoy it a lot because who wouldn't?
