  1. First off
  2.
  3. I can write words
  4.
  5. Yeah I believe you on that one.
  6.
  7. Anyway back to the topic in hand. Here is managements stance on what you have just discussed on the four topics which you have discussed in great detail.
  8.
  9. Your observations.
  10.
  11. The Dead men Walking.
  12.
  13. This was a notable point you have raised and to the average player what you have highlighted does seem to make sense that the AI were human shaped sentry guns. But there is method in the separatist sentry madness. The AI were all using BIS functions mixed in with some AGM AI variables to control them. This meant I could get them to patrol and defend in a similar way Heaney's framework used to but whilst still having the leg room to tweak there intelligence, accuracy and courage. (Yes I gave the courage, does that may me the Arma equivalent of the Wizard of oz ?). To be serious though most of this hadn't been setup properly at the time of the operation due to the recent switch to AGM and me and Fakematty not having much experience working with it. Hence the AGM AI.pbo pop up that you have all been getting recently.
  14.
  15. Because of this the some of these values were still default and some not. This comes back to the issue discussed in another post I made yesterday about how at this point in time me and Fakematty are concentrating primarily on content and not optimizing which is the category which tweaking falls into
  16.
  17. Now you made an example of the two AI who gunned down JEFRO just stood there. Now I know from making that mission that they were using the CBA defend function. Now for some reason the AI in their infinite wisdom believed that that porch was a tactically sound position. Now the reason they stood there at least from what I can see from the scripts is that the Defend function overrides AGM courage in this situation which stop them trying to bayonet charge the BMP and shove there bayonet through my vision port into my skull. As amusing as this sounds this does make sense though. Would you walk out in front of a BMP if you could hear it around a corner ? if your comrades who went silent after a burst of PKT fire from a BMP ? I would certainly be terrified. So yes on the surface this may look like AI being silly arma AI but I think that if anything it this is more realistic for me.
  18.
  19. With a chance of lemmings.
  20.
  21. Now this is something I believe we have fixed but realistically if you do take contact from a position you will assault it. The AI will still move towards you but now all of them as that is silly however tanks and infantry will make a damn good effort to advance on your position, flank and kill you.
  22.
  23. Your theorizing.
  24.
  25. Now some of what you state was already done in the operation. All the patrols were cyclic the AI individual variables were controlled as discussed above. However
