  1. For those wondering, avoiding charge-backs is easy.
  2. https://developer.paypal.com/webapps/developer/docs/classic/fmf/integration-guide/FMFIntro/
  3. You delay donations based on filters like 'donations over $50' = 'review required'. Thus, if you receive a $500 donation, it is filtered and requires you to approve it first, giving you/paypal time to verify if the credit card used for the high amount is legit without incurring penalty fees.
  4. You could also delay all donations (anything over $0) so you have to manually approve all your donations.
  5. Edit: I've never setup this before for those asking, but researched some info below to try and help you guys out. I do web development / ecommerce and know other sites that allow credit card submission have this option to allow for delayed shipping (pay when order is shipped). So I searched for it on paypal and found the info above.
  6. On the left hand side, there is a 2nd menu that has the title "Fraud Management Filters" and there is this link below it for 'setup': https://developer.paypal.com/webapps/developer/docs/classic/fmf/integration-guide/FMFSetup/ There is a disclaimer in there says "The available filters are determined by agreement between the merchant and PayPal. You may not be granted access to all filters."
  7. On this page you'll find: "Basic filters are automatically available to any PayPal business account holder using PayPal Payments Standard, PayPal Payments Pro, Express Checkout, Virtual Terminal, or Email Payments." Further down you will see basic includes: "Maximum Transaction Amount Filter", "Unconfirmed Address Filter" and "Country Monitor Filter".
  8. Since it says 'business account holder' it may not be available to general paypal accounts (like ones you use to pay people with). On this page, it explains about the basic business account: https://www.paypal.com/webapps/mpp/merchant#web-payments
  9. "2.9% or lower + $0.30 per transaction and no monthly fee"
  10. Good luck!
