The fingers of her metallic extension grasp the blade so intensely that the wood threatens to splinter in the very grip. As if to mark the precursor of a new chapter in their attle, Eri's conviction became as pressure in the air as her eyes trained on MARE with an unwavering gaze. A single breath is taken as the fingers of her free hand curl just above the elbow of her prosthesis. Throughout her intake of air, the language of her body seemed to telegraph Eri winding up for...something. At this point, it didn't seem like Eri was capable of anything out of the ordinary for a human being of her caliber. It was very true that every aspect of her swordplay excelled far above the average, without exception...but was there truly anything beyond what she owed to that mastery she built over years and years of instruction and training?

Balbora Sword Arts--an irregular style of swordplay lacking in convention and uniformity for the sake of its highly specialized nature. There was only ever one practitioner of the art...and that soul resided within Enomoto Eri Forsythe, slowly finding its way to the surface from deep within the recesses of Eri's psyche.

Her missing arm...

Eri's body has been the home of a devoted soldier for longer than she could even know, and it seemed that spirit was awakening inside of her more and more as this fight went on. To be pushed to the verge of melting down again and again only to return with an even more rigid constitution, this was the true nature of steel imparted to Eri...and like the steel of her own blade, she'll refuse to yield.

There's a flash of glowing gold and silver, merely a blur to even MARE's sight. Eri's feet leave the ground for a moment with the sheer force of her swing. Dynamic from start to finish, her shirasaya draws an arc of light in space before her. In an instant, it soars, expands and seems to sprout wings wider than the stage of her fight.

A shivering scream echoes within the stadium, likened to the cry of the legendary phoenix as Eri's single sword gives rise to a vacuum wave of slashes as innumerable as they are deadly.

  Leonhardt Alric nods. He realized she probably didn't entirely understand english.
Leonhardt had realized that he probably needed to exterminate her all at once, but now that he was out again, he didn't have a very good idea on how to do that. Perhaps if he were able to call out the Sun of Galatine again..but.

He'd already done it once. Trying again would likely have mixed results, assuming he even had the energy left for that. If only they had magic beans to completely heal them.
  [ - Mahou Shoujo - ]: "[ CAAAN HORD OFFU? ]"
  [ Ratty Little Bastard Playing With Golden Things ] loves the feeling festering in the pit of Gurai's stomach. He hopes it's suffocating. But at the same time, he's happy. So he smiles. "Thank you." He says, actually genuinely meaning it. Then he's back off to Check Tower.
  [ - Mahou Shoujo - ] points her wand at FOOD, a curious look on her face as she looks to Leonhardt. As she does that, she lifts up the 'SABER' card.
  Yanyu leans back and crosses her legs. "You lost to yourself? That's actually very surprising." She closes her eyes.  "You always seemed like the calmest person I know. But I'm quickly learning even still waters have depths."
  Yanyu: "That sounds cheesy, doesn't it?"
  Yanyu: ". . .I think it's my fault for not looking deep enough."
  Leonhardt Alric " [ So you're that sword's owner... ] "
She probably didn't understand him enough to actually answer. So he responded to her question in a way that was nearly universally understood, and nodded. He probably could--not for very long. But he'd /do it/. Atleast that much.

Galatine was taken from the ground as he stepped forward, infront of the Magical Girl, held in a one-handed defensive position. It stung to know he'd have to retrain his sword style to be purely one handed, now. But that was a thought for another time. Atleast it was his off hand that got sacrificed.

  Gurai Akurai crosses his arms, and follows Katsurou. What's...wrong with him?
  [ - Ruby - ] FOOD flies forward as fast as she can. Nevermind any idea of self preservation, she was insanely mad. The steam still rolled off her form and she sent a powerful roundhouse kick aimed at Leonhardt's head. She was intending to launch his ass straight into a building. Her blows held weight, a lot more weight than before. All sanity had been thrown out of the window with rage. Veins poked out of her form and she was basically roaring continuously.

"[BASTARD! YOU MAKE ME -MAD-, I'LL KILL YOU! WHAT I SAY, I'LL DO! YOU'LL DIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIE!]"

Her english broke.
  Leonhardt Alric in a manner of speaking, expected her to be faster and stronger before. Not by that margin, but the fight inside did clue him in that the angrier she was, the more power she came at you with. He didn't expect to get launched into a building, his arm bruised, even with Galatine used as a shield.

But he had no time to lay there. He said he'd hold her off, so that's what he had to do. Rocking his legs up, he threw all his weight forward to get back to his feet, as he didn't have the other arm neccesary to do so normally, before he took off as fast as he could, dashing at FOOD to come back with a leaping slash to slice her body in two."Huaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!!!!"
  [ - Ruby - ] FOOD has a pretty accurate way of moving. When he comes to cut into her, she moves to the side and actively grabs his face. She doesn't care about his slash, as he has gotten weaker, she has gotten stronger and fully intends to force that reality upon him. Thus, as he falls down and his slash missed, she'll grab him by his face and throw him at another wall as hard as she can. Once more a powerful move, this time followed up by her pointing a hand and releasing a wave of pink energy towards him.
  [ - Magician of Red - ] Tejinaji Akai sighs. "You don't need to lecture him. A pact is a pact; a contract; a mutual agreement between two people that can be advantageous and disadvantageous to one or more parties. In this case, it brings advantages to both of us, despite your lone wolf nature. Let's go to the parking lot and get this over with."
  Leonhardt Alric digs his foot into the ground as she tried tossing him, rapidly killing his momentum. He knew he'd gotten weaker. He /knew/ that--that was common sense, even for him. But his determination was burning like the sun contained within his sword. He refused to lose.

He swung Galatine out as the beam launched, doing so at an angle to bat it into the air, away from the battlefield. He just had to hold her off until that magical girl could do whatever she intended to--that card looked the same as what FOOD had earlier. He assumed she was doing to draw that mystical weapon and obliterate FOOD with it. But he couldn't take his eyes away to check with a glance, not even for a second.

  [ - Ruby - ] FOOD | "Die! Die DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE DIIIIIIIIIIIIIIE!"
Her voice broke, the genuine rage made her voice sound like it was cracking with each extremely pronounced word. More and more beams hailed down on Leonhardt. She was firing a barrage of pink blasts that didn't seem to have an end. Constant explosive strikes to take him down. If any hit then the building around him would begin to fall down over him.
  Red nods. Again, with this terrible rhythm. He couldn't disagree with Katsuo Kato though. He was still dumbstruck by the fact they hadn't pissed off without him. The invitation... he'd have time to be excited about it later. For now he would just accept.
  | Knight's #5 | Katsuo Kato starts heading for the parking lot first, figuring he should initiate the trio leaving.
  Leonhardt Alric knows the destructive power of those beams. And he knew that if he dodged, then they'd cause the building behind him to go down. And whoever was inside would die. Thus, he had but one choice. To keep deflecting the blasts into the sky.

But with so many, surely it'd be impossible?
He didn't know how many hits his body could take for what he missed. But he begged for it to not give out on him. " [ Don't give out on me now..just...a..little more... ] "

So he tried. He /tried/.
  [ - Mahou Shoujo - ] has had her time. The card was inserted into her body, rather than the wand. As it did so, her clothing had changed. No longer was it the outfit of magic designated to her as Magical Ruby, but rather a pink dress in armour. Armoured boots, armoured hands, no shoulder clothing and a thinly armoured breastplate. The rest of her attire was beautifully flowing, like a pink rendition of 'Saber Lily'.

It wasn't this she wanted time for, though. It was the golden sword in her hand, the blade that was not hers, unlike what Leon said. This was a card that produced the same effect but ultimately was but a representation of the legendary blade. This girl didn't earn it, and was not the owner of such otherworldly beauty. Even so, she held it into the air. Leon fought for this sword, and so with this sword she'll promise victory. It's that simple. She needed this time to prepare herself and find the perfect point to minimise damage to the environment.

If the opponent was to be defeated, then it was with this whilst Leon is down.

"[ ECKSU---"

She steps forward, the sword was glowing gold. A physical representation of another persons collected dreams, another persons desires and love flowing into one place. This was not the sword, but a replica. A replica that had to be called out, for now.

"---KARRIBAAAH ]"

The blade was swung down, and a torrent of light came with it. Leon set her in place, so the girl finished his job whilst he protected the building. This wave of light, even if forged from a replica, wiped away FOOD and every trace of her left in this world.

It was just sad, that this replica couldn't compare to the true splendor for Leonhardt. He knew that this was a genuine sword, but he also knew that it wasn't the real EXCALIBUR, merely a fictious attempt to hold onto the dream.

  Leonhardt Alric finally collapses, keeping his upper body held up by Galatine, which was now planted into the ground again. Leonhardt was finally brought to his knees, eyes drawn to the band of light expanding through the street to eradicate the monster in one fell swoop.

This had been the sword he fought for. But...even though....

Something inside him did not recognize it as the real thing. A replication. He didn't know how he knew, just like he didn't know how he'd realize that the monster's sword was 'stolen'. He'd caught a glimpse, though. A glimpse at what something inside of him was driving him to find. Perhaps, that person was the 'king' he had to meet. The reason he'd been drawn here aside from his own Master. Hand slinking off of Galatine and his body tilting slightly from left to right, he raised his arm---

---And gave the magical girl, a thumb up for a job well done.
  [ - Mahou Shoujo - ] holds her hand infront of her chest, the outfit shined before returning to normal, granting the SABER card back into her hand, and then into a pocket on her thigh. She responds to Leonhardt with a thumbs up of her own, running over to him.

"[ I WH-WHIRRU HELPU YOU. ]"
She streses her words with an awful tone, since she doesn't seem confident about speaking the language. Her arms come down to help Leonhardt up.

"[ POREECE WHIRRU COME SOON, HELPU OTHAH GIRL. Y-Yew... Hospitarru... ]"

With that said, she was going to fly Leonhardt to the hospital.

Since he got fucked.
  Leonhardt Alric would find her inability to speak proper english adorable. If he weren't suddenly hit by both exhaustion and pain as his second rush of adrenaline died down. " [ A h-hospital would be...wonderful. ] "

Atleast the worst of his wounds had been cauterized aside from his chest. But he was covered in severe wounds from head to toe--a hospital wouldn't be wonderful. It was neccesary, and he'd probably be there for awhile. Though with her help he managed to get up on his own, he ended up nearly falling ontop of her.

  [ - Darkness Flame - ] MARE has to treat Eri like she's worth it. This build up to her Balboran Sword Art, Jinrai---- MARE can tell how strong it is from her single glance. It forces her lips to curl up into one of hher trademark wicked grins. MARE is just a little excited at the prospect of Jinrai.

When it's finally unleashed in her direction, MARE notices it. The brilliant phoenix, threatening to engulfher in the torrent of sword slashes. So in response MARE uses the one of her own technique against her.

"Sword... of the MORTAL FLAME!" MARE's hands suddenly catch on fire. It's a strange type of energy rather than simply pure flames, however. The sword suddenly becomes empowered by the energy of the whole human realm itself. The sword slashes repeatedlly to defense MARE. It's the first time she's really been put on the defensive in the fight. She controls her body flawlessly, moving at different points while staring not at Eri's sword but her body. Reusing the technique she used earlier to trick her, instead she captilizies on her own speed in order to throw around the sword bathed in the fflames of another realm. Her forearm is covered in it as well, and her hand to hand capabilities have been boosted because of it tenfold. If she can help it. Jinrai shall NOT harm her!

However.

At the end of this, MARE suddenly becomes an aterimage and does all she can to run away from Eri. Something has one terribl wrong and MARE only noticed it a few moments before it happened.

A silver object flew past Eri's face, twirling into the air and somewhere unknown.

"...Aw." She stares down at her blade. It's incredibly shorter than it use to be... broken by Jinrai. It was snapped in half and now sat in her palm, completely useless.

It was not a Spirit Key. Rather, MARE only bought(stole) this blade a few hours earlier.
  [ - Darkness Flame - ] MARE: "You almost sliced through my head you know... that's not very nice. It cost me my whole sword just to defend against. You're--- stronger than I thought."
  Kasumi Kimura may TECHNICALLY be an intern at the hospital, but that's mainly due to age. Many of the doctors there acknowledge Kasumi's incredible talent and ability which come from her breakthrough, at least when it comes strictly to surgery. She is called upon to help with a man who was brought to the emergency room, and it goes without saying that Kasumi probably hasn't seen anything quite like Leon's severe condition before. Even in Caissa, some things are pretty rare. Someone being THIS fucked up on various levels while still being alive at all is nothing short of goddamn miraculous.
  Tabata, Minoru pats Yanyu's hand, chuckling. "It's alright. Everything that has happened so far today has already become 'alright' with me. I ended up getting rid of Haruto's grudge against me, even if I didn't win the match like I intended to. Although the school and Kimiko may be heavily disappointed in me in return. That sucks." But Minoru didn't look too broken up about it. He really accepted that possibility already to himself.

"You're a good person, Yanyu. I can hear it."
  Leonhardt Alric | Taking that much and still being alive? Miraculous indeed. Even more so, he was still concious when the little blue haired girl had dragged him in. He still was.
His head lulled from side to side as he was carted through the ER, finally ending up infront of a green haired girl. She looked young, about as young as the girl that brought him in, but even so, he didn't doubt that he was in skilled hands. This was Caissa City, after all.

  Kasumi Kimura 's job and hopefully future career was a pretty "people person" sort of job, so it paid to know some English, a fairly popular language. Her understanding wasn't PERFECT, but it was enough. "Not so bad? That's crazy, he's a mess... [ D-Do not wawree, yourru be fine-uu! ]" It sure would be a bit awkward if Leon could understand Japanese perfectly fine. Anyway, Kasumi was still fully assessing Leon's wounds as this exchange occurred, and accurately deciding on what to address first. OP isn't a doctor, but Kasumi can be assumed to be pretty competent at this indeed.
  Leonhardt Alric | One would assume that it would be his chest, as his arm had been cauterized. His chest didn't have that leisure.
And it was also good that she knew english. He didn't know a lick of Japanese.

Surely, he was. Though the anaesthesia that was being pumped into him was helping him see the brighter side of things.
  Kasumi Kimura did her best to put on a smile now. The best way to keep her patient in good spirits would be to show she was confident! Nobody wants to fall unconscious in the emergency room with their surgeon looking worried and frowny, right? "[ Raito! Airu make yew good as new! ]"
  Leonhardt Alric " [ J-just tell me, doctor. Is there anything that can be done about my arm? ] "
  Kasumi Kimura decided that honesty was the best policy. OP is about to go AFK for a bit, but before he does, Kasumi lets Leon know that although she can't, it's "probably possible, they live in Caissa after all." Maybe not a word-for-word quote. Engrish.
