/r/accelworld needs more love

I feel like we are having too many issues with "no relation to SAO", even though it could be pretty interesting since it has relation to other works of Kawahara.

I feel it doesn't make sense to include other series when they likely have their own subreddits. If fans want a subreddit to discuss all Kawahara series they could do so at a /r/Kawahara subreddit

I'm a big fan of his and own every book of his that has been published in English. I would like to take to other fans of him about his other series too.

I dislike /r/AccelWorld's CSS, and want Tusject on more.

This could clutter up /r/sao.

I feel this way because if someone who never heard of Kawahara's other works & they see it posted on the subreddit like for example Accel World, they might be interested in finding out what Accel World is.

It is at least four months until the next SAO content. There will be a drop off of submissions during this period. In order to keep the sub alive, its a brilliant idea to allow discussion of even tangentially related topics. This rule can always be revoked later whenever more content is avaliable for discussion.

Plus, it could allow our community to get some new members. Discussion about Accel World, Isolator and others will bring in people that enjoy those topics.

Because all of Kawahara's work is good

I follow the Discord from time to time and there are so many interesting discussions about Kawahara in general and about his other series. Those could get better coverage when publicly available instead of drowned by the sheer amount of messages flying around on the Discord.

I feel like the sub will get cluttered and avoiding spoilers will be harder (for SAO and other series).

The subreddit is designated as Sword Art Online related, and that's what I want when I come here. A Reki Kawahara subreddit should be made instead. I don't mind seeing content that is a crossover between series however.

I want to be able to talk about Kawahara's other works but the Accel World reddit for example, is dead and practically nobody uses it.
I'd prefer to see content/characters/news that I'm familiar with, and things could possibly get spammy.

Although SAO is by far my favorite, I'm a fan of Kawahara's work in general and would love to read more discussion of his other series. Isolator aside, even Accel World's fandom seems to be mostly dead at this point, so allowing it on a large and active sub like this might breathe some more life into it.

An introduction to his other works that may be of interest

To be honest my opinion is rather impartial on this potential change, but I don't see the harm in at least having a trial run. As long as this sub stays primarily SAO related (and I assume it will) I'm good.

Because I feel if his other series keep getting neglected like this, we probably won't be able to see Kawahara's writing skill that can't be implented to Sword Art Online. Personally, if his other series got famous, they will probably get animatgetand I will have more of Accel World anime!

Usually I seldom visit the other subreddits, thus I'd miss new posts. there aren't that many made anyway, thus it doesn't hurt the current community. Trial run for a month, why not? I'm in favor for it anyway. A new subreddit is not a good idea, much for the reasons you explained already. Everything in one place, perfect. Job done

I think it is a good thing to be able to discuss some other content too. But if (I don't think it will happen, but if it does) the subreddit is somehow overrun by thread related to AW or The Isolator it might be a better choice to make restricted days for AW and/or The Isolator content.

I'm too fucking lazy to keep up on all Accel World news, but I really like the series.
