A Wild Hunt took place tonight. Apparently this is something the fey of the area do, and they were hunting for those branded by the Wendigo we slew. Unfortunately that meant Randidily and Liliana. We tried to reason with them, but they seemed intent on their hunt, and tried to get us to magically join in. After a fight that I did absolutely terrible in, (maybe I’m not as useful as I think), we managed to constrain some of the Fey and talk to them. Brook convinced them through magic that he was in charge of the Wild Hunt, and that the Wendigos were dealt with. They Fey left under the stipulation that Brook would deal with Liliana and Randidily.
It really seems like a normal day, though we should deal with those brands. Perhaps stronger magic would help? I’m sure the Analyst could tell us something. My main concern right now is my lack of achieving anything in that battle. I couldn’t resist anything, the Fey made me chant along with them. Then I fumbled every time I was trying to grab the singer and stop her. For the meantime I’m going to go take a look at the marketplace and try to see if there’s anything I can buy to help. But I’ll have to think about this more. Maybe I should just stick to throwing fire at things and leave the rest to others. I don’t want to be so one dimensional and a single trick pony, but this experience wasn’t too encouraging.
We also have met up with Arturia, who seems noble enough a person we are letting her travel with us for some time. She’s in search of some ancestral sword and had a hint it was in the area. She helped us fight off the Fey, so she’s alright in my books.
