  1. CURRENT QUESTIONS UNANSWERED:
  2.
  3. 1 -Who will remember the time jump, if anyone?
  4. 2 -Suggestions for main characters? (ages, races, personality? etc)
  5. 3 -any other characters that would be important? (suggestions open)
  6. 4 -possible antagonist ideas? (if any at all.)
  7. 5 -what makes the main characters special? (I'm trying to avoid super-powers or magic abilities)
  8. 6 -Will the townspeople remember anything that happens during the time jump?
  9. 7 -will things the townspeople or anyone else knows before the time jump affect their behavior once time changes?
  10. 8 -if they don't remember, will they just assimilate into the changed time naturally?
  11.
  12. CURRENT NOTES
  13. -Setting is a College town (subject to change)
  14. -the effect of it causes the town to be sent into different times completely.
  15. -the Main Characters (at this point, three college students) have no clue how to stop it
  16. -Time Flashes occur randomly, but only once in any given day.
  17. -whenever Time jumps, the area affected by the malfunctioning time machine grows a little.
  18.
  19. POSSIBLE IDEAS
  20. For an antagonist, you could have one of the scientists activating the machine in an attempt to get to some time period s/he sees as most advantageous to her/him. Have the flashes occur after decently long periods of time so that the plot can develop.
  21.
  22. Nice pictures, and a scenario with a lot of potential, but will be hard to pull of, and not fall in cliché stuff.
  23. I think making them forgetting about everything would be a bad shortcut, but I think having only the main characters remember could be interesting.
  24. If we want to make a full, interesting story, we're going to have to work hard. Simplifying character designs will be helpful, but won't save us.
  25. A slight government conspiracy, and related stuff, can add a lot of depth. Students are just the victims of the machinations, can not fight back.
  26. We could make it a fanfiction to get any fandom involved.
  27. Selfish scientist are good antagonist, but no overdoing their evil parts.
  28. I see M2 as a part-time ag, sometime ally, sometime stab-in-the-back; very manipulative of other students.
  29. All protagonists must have an interest in any precise time period.
  30. The main characters needs to be brought together by something that they cannot share with any other students. Being close to the machine as it activates is a possibility, but still not the best. Being part of the first experiment is better.
  31. More mc would be better, but not too much. A comic makes it hard to ass depth.
  32. I like the idea of having the whole College sieged by outside forces. Maybe the time jumps "reset" it everitime.
  33. I think the main characters needs to be kept inside the college for some reason. I'd love an Angle Beats kind of feel.
  34. I think the characters are still pretty contradictory. I don't see M3 as athletic.
  35. Having a rough storyline and scenario will be helpful.
  36. You need to have things that keeps the comic interesting and special. Original artstyle is a thing (Romantically apocalyptic), slight innuendo is good too.
  37. MACHINE'S BACKSTORY:
  38. The College, as it stands is one that has a prestigious science program. the Time Machine was a project created recently for a competition. It didn't seem to work, and the power source was tested to be dangerous and non-sustainable. as such, it was brought back to the school for further testing. at that point, it was tested on, and the group in charge found that it didn't operate, and the powersource was seemingly dead. as the power source they were using didn't seem to react at all. there the machine stayed, dormant for months, before reactivating on it's own.

  40. CURRENT MAIN CHARACTERS:
  41. PROTAGONISTS:
  42. MC1 - First Year Film Student. Bitter because of because overshadowed throughout his whole life, even more so because of all his film achievements being outshone by the actions of the science department; goal is to become famous. Wiling to work to the bone to achieve goals. pretty lax in school and things he isn't immediately interested in. distractible, pretty pessimistic about things, otherwise. often not taken seriously because of how often he jokes around. of average intelligence. Jealous of MC3 because of his popularity and how often other's notice him, yet still trusts him and MC2 deeply.
  43.
  44. MC2 - Vain, often ridicules MC1. Second-Year Robotics student. holds own achievements in higher regard than those of others. nerdy, but fairly popular and much more outgoing than MC1. Skilled in speech and manipulating people using speech and his/her appeal. Not often willing to get his/her hands dirty helping others, but is more likely to assist close friends. Extremely logic-based. sees no room in their life for things like luck or intangible concepts like a deity. Known for making popular the kid's TV show, "My Fine Equine" on campus, which originally was a point of ridicule until he/she came out and said they enjoyed it, along with several other closet fans. Extremely intelligent. jealous of MC3's extreme optimism, but still puts all his/her trust in them and MC1.
  45.
  46. MC3 - Humble. Second-Year Philosophy student. semi-religious, understanding the concepts of the Hindu Caste System to reach nirvana, and sometimes refers to it when asked for advice. wise in concept, less so in practice. highly athletic. of above average intelligence. The model individual for the comparisons of parents and other adults. good at motivating others, and extremely virtuous. Known around town as a good samaritan who will not hesitate to help those in need, down to a fault. under pressure, however, he tends to behave more naively, often making bad choices/decisions when the situation is bad. Really bad with girls, (with the exception of MC2), as such, he tends to avoid them, and this has caused a couple of rumors about his sexuality. Extremely popular.
  47. how's this?
