  4. Chapter 2: Jungle Love
  5.
  6. >You're little scuffle goes on for a while until...
  7. >You feel something slender slapping at your gut.
  8. >At first you think it's Chappy, but you see him sitting over to the side catching his breath.
  9. >You get a flashback and immediately realize what it is, you're eyes widening.
  10. "Hey. Hey! Stop for a second!"
  11. >She pauses in her attempt to eat your face and fixes you with an irritated look.
  12. "Do you mind... getting off me?"
  13. >You say, your eyes shifting up and down trying to give her a clue.
  14. >She stares at you for a moment trying to figure out what's going on, before her expression turns to horror.
  15. >She almost flies off of you with how quick she jumped off.
  16. >Impressive, given her current condition.
  17. >You can vaguely make out the blush forming under her coat as she fidgets in embarrassment.
  18. >"D-don't get the wrong idea!" she exclaims, her voice shaky as she tries to compose herself.
  19. >"I-I'm not into th-that sort of thing. I-it just... Shut up okay?" she stutters out, trying to keep up her brash demeanor.
  20. >All it does is make her look adorable as she sticks her nose up in a pout, looking at you from the corner of her eye.
  21. >"What, why are you l-looking at me like that?" she says, her voice getting softer as she speaks.
  22. >You realize you've been staring at her the whole time, not saying anything or moving.
  23. >Just looking into her eyes.
  24. >Such beau-
  25. >You snap out of when when Chappy takes a chomp at your thigh.
  26. "Ow, you little!-"
  27. >He points at the embarrassed form of Dikeledi.
  28. >She's look at you now with disgust.
  29. >She must think you want to jump her bones now.
  30. "Uh... sorry. I didn't mean to stare like that. I just got... distracted, yeah."
  31. >"I'll say..." she seems to calm down a bit at your words, but still seems distant.
  32. >You're curious to ask her about that thing poking slightly between her legs.
  33. >She doesn't have balls, so you're still not sure if he or she, going on nothing but her voice.
  34. >You've heard that female hyenas have pseudo clit/vagina penises, but you always thought it was just rumor hogwash to say there are legit shemales in the animal kingdom.
  35. >It definitely /looks/ like the rumors are true, but then again you're in a world full of magical talking mini horses that can fly and fire kamehameha waves in a fight against a centaur majin buu.
  36. >You wouldn't be surprised to find a dickgirl running around in that mix.
  37. >But the situation is awkward enough as it is.
  38. >She's avoiding your gaze again, and you need to say something.
  39. >Fast.
  40. >But what could you possibly say in a situation like this, without making things weirder?
  41.
  42. "Uh... You just have.. er..."
  43. >You clear your throat and try to collect your thoughts.
  44. >You need to change the subject.
  45. "Why are you..."
  46. >Fuck how do you ask this.
  47. "You're... starving"
  48. >Yeah, no shit genius, she knows this. She almost died because of it.
  49. >She looks a bit miffed now, and a bit impatient.
  50. >"Well, duh I'm starving! I've been starving for days! I mean, yeah, thank you for saving me and everything, but I was about to go look for some game when you just stopped me, and started berating me." she states.
  51. >You. What?
  52. >"I mean, I could probably just have at your little friend there, but I realized that wouldn't be right. Now If you're done here, I have some hunting to catch up on." she shakily rises to her fours, weakly attempting to regain her balance.
  53. "Hold on, I maybe I can help you."
  54. >You say, trying to get her to stay.
  55. >She pauses, meeting your eyes again. "R-really?" she says, almost desperately.
  56. >Did she really forget that the only reason she's alive right now is because you both had food?
  57. >"I-I mean, I don't need your help! I can find food well on my o-own." a weight seems to fall on her as she finish her sentence, a bit of sadness not to noticeably growing on her features.
  58. >She carefully turns to face the jungle again, creeping of, obviously struggling just to move.
  59. >You, are having none of this, however, and you get up and rest your hand on her back, effectively pinning her without knocking her down.
  60. >"L-leave me alone!" she snaps "I can help myself! I don't need anyone! Not anymore!"
  61. >There is a tug at your hear as you can see the pain and tears welling up in her eyes.
  62. >She blows a weak snort in defiance and tries to shake you off.
  63. >She's fight more than one losing battle.
  64. >You sigh
  65. "Look, I won't ask about it. In fact, I'm not asking about anything. You're coming with us."
  66. >She squirms under your pressure a bit longer, before giving up.
  67. >"Fine..." she says, defeated.
  68.
  69. >You internally sigh in relief.
  70. >This girl was about to go get herself killed.
  71. >Again.
  72. >A few minutes later, you're walking through the Jungle.
  73. >The trek through the tangling vines and thick shrubbery Is tough as it it. It's even hard with the added weight.
  74. >On you're head, you have a meerkat lying on his back in the crease of your stetson nibbling at a coco bean he snatched from one of the misplaced coco trees.
  75. >On you're back is your adventure pack, full of various items and food preserving materials.
  76. >You don't have any actual food on you, or at least, you don't have anything you think a hyena can eat.
  77. >Said hyena is securely cradled in your arms, wrapped in the shredded remains of the cloth that used to be your tent and sheets.
  78. >You might give her shit about that some time in the future, but right now you've got to make sure she has one.
  79. >The cloth is to help her keep warm.
  80. >You noticed her shivering when you took a better look at her.
  81. >She looks like she hasn't had a good meal in weeks.
  82. >"You know, you don't have to carry me like this..." she says, looking at the tangled vines and roots as you step over them, a visible red showing under the fur on her face.
  83. >In all your time here, you could never figure out how the creatures here do that.
  84. >All of the sentient beings you've met here so far had fur, and you could still see the blood rushing to their face, despite how dark their coats can be sometimes.
  85. >You chuckle at her disposition.
  86. >Even now, in her weakened state, she still has her pride.
  87. "Actually I do, you're in no shape to be moving on your own."
  88. >Chappy squeaks, agreeing with you.
  89. >Dikeledi just grunts. "Where are you taking me, anyway.
  90. "Well... you'll find out soon enough."
  91. >Excaliburface.jpg
  92. >She hears the reluctance in your voice and looks up at you.
  93. >Chappy sniggers and almost chokes on his bean.
  94. >She notices this and her expression turns to hesitant curiosity.
  95. >Suddenly you hair the sound of rushing leaves above you.
  96. >Excaliburface intensifies
  97.
  98. >You begin to hear sounds of hooting and screeching as you close in on your destination.
  99. >The sound starts to come from the leaves now too, following the sound of whatever is rushing between the trees.
  100. >You didn't want to come back here again.
  101. >You hoped you wouldn't have to pass through here until you needed to to get back to Equestria.
  102. >You can make out the little hanging ladders and and wooden paths built into the trees as you emerge onto a clear path leading to a clearing.
  103. >The smell of musk burns your nostrils as you approach, and you almost gag.
  104. >You can only imagine what Dikeledi is going through, with her sensitive canine nose.
  105. >She's dry heaving in your arms right now, trying to clog her nose with the cloth.
  106. >"Guh! What is that stench." she reals deeper into your body, trying to stuff her face into your chest to block out the scent.
  107. >Chappy has keen senses as well, but is relatively fine, his !bandana! [[That's the word I wanted to use, not scarf, but I could never remember it for some reason.]]
  108. >-pulled tightly over his face.
  109. >He giggles at your reactions, his eyes closed.
  110. >You stealthily reach up and tug at the bandana, pulling it from the bottom all the way over his nose, exposing it to the open ear.
  111. >He squeals in shock, and you can't see them right now, but you can tell his eyes are popping out of his head.
  112. >He falls back onto your hat, choking on the sudden rush of the powerful odor invading his senses.
  113. >Good one
  114. >Thanks brain.
  115. >*internal highfive*
  116. >"Hey guys look! *screech* They're back!" You hear in the distance.
  117. >solidsnakealert.mp3
  118. >Shit, you've been spotted already.
  119. >You were hoping you could sneak around to there preservers, while they were busy...
  120. >"Who's back?" you hear a familiar voice.
  121. >Wait, a familiar voice, is that...
  122. >"Anon?"
  123. >You freeze. You did not expect to see her all the way out here.
  124. "Fluttershy?"
  125.
  126. >The rustling and screeching pause for a moment, and a frazzled looking chimp pokes her head out. "Yep! That's definitely them! Hey Anon! Finally ready to take on my offer?" she says, her voice a mix of excitement and exhaustion.
  127. >I thicker head pushes it's head out of the same patch, his voice less excited, a bit more casual, "Aye, looks like he's into it after all! Hey everyone, look who's finally decided to join us!" he shouts.
  128. >With that, a few more fuzzy faces start popping out of the trees all around you.
  129. >They're taking it to the path now?
  130. >They can't even localize, they're traveling with this shit.
  131. >As much as you'd like to respond in a not so kind way, you're a bit preoccupied with something else.
  132. >What is Flutteshy doing all the way out here in Zebrica?
  133. >And why is she hanging around with all these sex-crazed chimps!
  134. >Could she be...
  135. >"Oh Anon, I'm so glad I found you!" she exclaims.
  136. >"I was so worried! I didn't see you for about a week, so I asked around if anyone knew where you were. Pinkie said you told her you went on a trip, so I assumed you went to Manehatten or something, and would be back soon. But when I haven't seen you in about half a month, became concerned! I went to ask Twilight if she knows anything, but she said the last time she saw you, you only asked her how to find Zecora. When I talked to Zecora, she said you had gone to Zebrica for a safari or something, and to give a few things to her relatives! But you were gone so long, and... and I..." she stops talking when she notices the unconscious hyena lying in your arms.
  137. >She mussed have passed out from the
  138. >Smell
  139. >Permeating the air around here.
  140. >"What's that, Anon? Is that a hyena? What's wrong with them? W-"
  141. "Fluttershy!"
  142. >You interrupt her.
  143. "Calm down, please, this isn't the time. We can catch up later, but right now, I need to help her."
  144. >"Her?"
  145. "Yes, her. Excuse me."
  146. >You push her aside with your your foot and continue to your destination.
  147.
  148. >You'll chat with Flutters later, but right now, you got a food storage to find.
  149. >"Trying to get more meat are yah?" one of the chimps says. "Well I got some meat for yah. All moist, and even preheated."
  150. >"Or if you're not into that, you can always get up here and tendorise mine!"
  151. >You shudder.
  152. >Do they have no shame.
  153. >You quicken your pace, trying to find the spot as fast as you can so you can leave.
  154. >Fluttershy follows you, having to use to keep up with you.
  155. >She notices the meerkat in your hat, looking at her with curiosity, but is too concerned to get excited over an animal right now.
  156. >"What's wrong, Anon? Maybe I can help. You know I'm great with animals, and I'd very much like to..." you interrupt her again.
  157. "It's alright, Fluttershy, I got it covered. I just need to find their 'storage cellar', get what I need, and get out, untainted."
  158. >You're not even sure if the meat is untainted, but you've only got one chance to get free easy meat right now. And you really need to get it soon, Dikeledi doesn't seem to be waking up.
  159. >Fluttershy looks hurt.
  160. >Maybe you're being a bit harsh right now.
  161. >You may be a bit off, being back in the weirdest part of the jungle again, but you don't have to be so mean to her.
  162. >Whatever, she knows what she did.
  163. >A moment later you can see the little vine/leaf/wood shack/hut just on the other side of a couple trees.
  164. >You rush too the entrance and kick open the makeshift door, and sigh in relief at what you find.
  165. >They still have some left over maraboe meat left over.
  166. >Fluttershy could smell the meat from where she stood, at a tree nearby, even through the
  167. >smell
  168. >already wafting through this part of the jungle.
  169. >So she just sit by and waits as you step inside to find something to feed Dikeledi.
  170. >You lightly place her to the ground and pat her face, trying to wake her up.
  171. "Hey, Deke... Delli... fuck. Wake up. We're here."
  172. >She opens her eyes and looks up at you.
  173. >"Where..." she looks around and sees all the meat piled around.
  174.
  175. >Her eye's widen and her jaw opens, her tongue falling out the side of her mouth she begins to drool, as she takes in the sight.
  176. >"Food... Glorious food!" she shouts, a burst of energy in her voice that you didn't think she could produce yet.
  177. >She jumps up and pounces onto the nearest pile like a mad dog, ripping and tearing at the meat like a starved animal.
  178. >... well.
  179. >You watch in awe as she messily devours all the raw chunks of marabou, unconcerned with whether it's spoiled or not, viciously tearing each piece into more pieces as she indulges like a shark in frenzy.
  180. >Chappy watches in horror.
  181. >He's made his way into one of your shirt pockets, not wanting to risk falling off of your head and getting swept into the carnage.
  182. >After a while, Dikeledi is stuffed, lying on her back in the middle of the room, belly distended, surrounded by what's left of the meat.
  183. >Fluttershy got a little too curious for her own good and decided to see what all the noise was.
  184. >She's now cowering behind your legs, her hair pulled over her eyes.
  185. >"... Is... is it over?" she timidly asks, not daring to look.
  186. >Chappy is frozen in shock, eyes wide, the expression on his face reading "Cannot unsee."
  187. >You probably should have left him with Fluttershy, but then again, look where she is now.
  188. "That was... something."
  189. >You finally say.
  190. >All you get in response is a loud burp from
  191. >the
  192. >hyena
  193. >before a sigh of satisfaction, bliss written in her features.
  194. >She seems to be in a state of euphoria
  195. >So much so that out of the corner of your eye you notice a-
  196. >NOPE. DON'T WANA.
  197. >C'mon anon, it's still a-
  198. >LALALA, CAN'T HEAR YA BRAIN
  199. >You can't actually hear your brain in the first place.
  200. >DON'T CARE.
  201. >I'm okay with it, you can still fuck it.
  202. >Fuck you boner.
  203. >You could always fuck her in stead.
  204. >You're taken out of your internal discourse when Dikeledi speaks up. "That... was... *burp* amazing."
  205. >With each word she takes a deep breath, to full to talk.
  206.
  207. "Yeah... Well, glad you're full and fed an all. Quite relived actually, but..."
  208. >You look around at the half empty room.
  209. "I think we should leave before those chimps find us in..."
  210. >You gesture to the almost total lack of food.
  211. "This..."
  212. >She lazily looks around, rolling onto her belly to get a better view.
  213. >"Heh, yeah, you're probably right."
  214. >Chappy has calmed down, now, back on his place on your head, and is tapping on the side of your face trying to get your attention.
  215. "What is it?"
  216. >He does a frantic jabbing motion to the outside.
  217. >Your eyes widen when you see some of the bushes rustling as the residents of this area seem to be closing in, probably to check out what the commotion was.
  218. "Shit..."
  219. >You whisper.
  220. >"Hm? What's wrong anon?" Fluttershy says. She seems to have calmed a bit as will, although she's still shaking a little.
  221. "Hey, Dikeledi..."
  222. >She groggily gets up, and takes dog-like version to a runner's stance. "Yeah... I think I can run on my own now." she says.
  223. "Chappy?"
  224. >He nods to you.
  225. >"Uh... what's happening?" Fluttershy asks, worriedly.
  226. >She squeaks when you pick her up.
  227. >You empty out your bag of random trash, and stuff her in it.
  228. >You then fill any empty outer pouches with whatever meat was lying around.
  229. >You proceed to secure the bag of Fluttershy to your back, the look of confusion ever present on her face.
  230. "Ready?"
  231. >You say, glancing back at the hyena.
  232. >She stretches her legs and cracks her neck.
  233. >"I hope so."
  234. >The sounds of rustling gets louder as the chimps get closer.
  235. >Jimmy, is that you?
  236. >"Wait, Anon, what are you dooooooooowwiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!" she doesn't finish her words as you, followed by Dikeledi, rush out of the storage, dashing into brush, not opposite, but right from the direction the chimps were coming from.
  237. >Only an idiot would run straight back.
  238. >Dikeledi is doing her best to keep up with you, but she's still a bit wobbly.
  239. >You may be weighed down a bit, with Fluttershy in your pack, but you kept pretty good shape.
  240.
  241. >It kinda comes with traveling through a Zebrican jungle on foot.
  242. >Besides, it's not like you were that scrawny before anyway.
  243. >You took pride to take care of yourself, both before and after you landed in Equestria.
  244. >You used to work in a walmart warehouse with only a few guys on hand, relatively few that is.
  245. >Somehow, you always got stuck lifting the heavier boxes that couldn't fit onto a crane or forklift, or the space for said vehicle to push through was too small.
  246. >If you wanted to live, you had to keep up.
  247. >You here the screeches of the chimps as they finally see the state of their food storage, their wild cries loud to hearing, even from this growing distance.
  248. >They must be pissed.
  249. >Thankfully, chimps are stupid, and they chased off in the direction straight from the opposite of where they came, only a few splitting off to the left.
  250. >You sign in relief when it looks like non of them are headed your way.
  251. >To be sure, you alter your direction to a slant between right, and back through the direction they came from.
  252. >Don't wanna
  253. >run
  254. >the risk of getting caught because a few chimps decided to be smart.
  255. >This throws Dikeledi off for a moment, her extra weight almost carrying her into a tree as she adjust herself in her struggle to keep pace with you. Maybe you should slow down...
  256. >"Im coming to geeeeEeeeeet yooooou, Anoooooon!"
  257. >Shit!
  258. >Minka!
  259. >She's on your trail, the crazy little nutjob.
  260. >"Oh AaaaaaaanNooooooon!"
  261. >She sounds like she's getting close.
  262. >Minka was your guide through the Zebrican jungle.
  263. >You met her on your way to the boarder, riding in a bus-carriage as your next-seat-neighbor.
  264. >You had a little chat on the ride and got along pretty well, plus her peppy attitude mixed with her wacky way of expressing herself made her too adorable for you not to.
  265. >Plus you always thought some kinds of chimps were adorable on their own.
  266. >Unfortunately, good things come to an end.
  267. >When you told her where you were going, she literally jumped in her seat.
  268.
  269. >"Zebrabwe is Just a hundred mile on the other side of the jungle all my friends and family live in!" she squeals. "I could introduce you and you could meet them! Then I could show you the direction you could follow! It's a straight way!"
  270. >You shushed her, trying not to wake up the sleeping Chappy under your stetson."
  271. >You were happy with this, and even delighted to meet the family of the adorable little pink ball of fluff.
  272. >At first.
  273. >Then you met them.
  274. >That's when things went to hell.
  275. >Different species? All's good in love, baby.
  276. >Gender? No big deal, everyone's gay for sex!
  277. >Age? It ain't nothin but a number!
  278. >Incest? Who cares!
  279. >It's all good in the neighborhood.
  280. >Fucking.
  281. >Guh...
  282. >"Iiiiiiii seeeeeeeeeeee yoooouuuuuuuu Nonnnyyyyyyyyyyyy!" you hear her voice echoing through the trees.
  283. >She's closing in fast.
  284. >It's almost as if
  285. >"I can still smeeeeell yoou! *sniiiiiff* You're shorts make tracking you reeeaaaally eaaasy!"
  286. >God Dammit.
  287. >You forgot she got into your things.
  288. >She nabbed one of your shorts when you took a bath in the river one of your breaks.
  289. >You curse yourself, wishing you had took it from her when you had the chance.
  290. "Chappy! Evasive maneuvers E-102 Gamma!"
  291. >He Salutes under your hat, before jumping on to a passing vine.
  292. >A few seconds later you hear, "Ohai thar, Chappy! How are you ddoooooooooooaoaoaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!"
  293. >A tear falls from your eye.
  294. "Godspeed, Chappy..."
  295.
  296. >You're mourning the loss of your little companion, when Dikeledi speaks up between her frantic panting.
  297. >"A *pant* Anon... I *gasp* can't *ghuh* run *fwuuh* much *phuh* longer!" she weezes out.
  298. "Save your breath! No one told you to eat so much at once! Now push on, I can see the edge of the jungle from here. We're almost out! Whatever Chappy did, hopefully It'll knock Minka of our trail."
  299. >"But what about Chappy?" Fluttershy asks.
  300. >You glance at her over your shoulder from the corner of your eye.
  301. "He... He'll make it. He always does"
  302. >"I hope so..." she says, a little dejected now, worrying for the fate of your companion.
  303. >You're not too concerned however. Chappy can find you just fine.
  304. >If he can't follow your scent trail, you still have that whistle you had made especially for him.
  305. >It dangles on a string attached to the sheath of your knife on the side of your pack.
  306. >You could probably use it to defend yourself, but you'll save that for a cornered rat situation.
  307. >You finally breach the canopy, and observer what lies before you.
  308. >You have no idea where the fuck you are, but you frantically look around for something you can hide under, in, or behind.
  309. >"Wait," says Dikeledi, "I *gasp* know this area..." She's still short of breath.
  310. >Lightweight, you're barely even feeling it.
  311. >Then again, it's probably adrenalin.
  312. >And the fact that only about 20 minutes ago she was starved to near death, and time later, full of food, and then had to immediately run for her life with barely time to rest herself.
  313. >Yeah.
  314. >It's probably one of those things.
  315. >"Quick, Follow me!" she says, trucking her way in a seemingly random direction.
  316. >You don't know where she's going, but you're not staying near this jungle any longer.
  317. >As you follow her, you can vaguely make out a small dug out den near what looks like a miniature version of pride rock.
  318. >Now you wonder if Simba is real.
  319. >Then you remember Timon and Pumbaa.
  320. >Meerkats can't talk, you've come to know.
  321.
  322. >You know this because you've been living with one for a about a month now, God rest his soul.
  323. >You get there pretty quickly.
  324. >Dikeledi starts sniffing around the rock for some reason.
  325. >Probably checking to see if anything else has been here recently.
  326. "I know we need a quick place to hide right, but why here? I don't even think I can fit in there..."
  327. >"Well, it's the only place I could think of right away that was close enough! You got any better ideas?" she retorts.
  328. "Uh..."
  329. >You look around at the vast field of the savanna, the only things close are a couple of thin bushes, a weird leafless tree in the middle of no where, and the same jungle you just got out of.
  330. >Well, you're definitely not going back there.
  331. "Maybe I can stand thin against that tree over there."
  332. >You point.
  333. >"Just crouch and roll, dumbass, I'm sure you can fit."
  334. >You don't have too many options here, so you just sigh.
  335. >You look at the small hole and try to figure how you're going to get in there.
  336. >"Um... You could try to, um, fit in the space at the back the rock. I mean, if that's okay with you..."
  337. >Fluttershy!
  338. >You almost forgot she was on your back.
  339. >You look at the rock hovering over the hole like a rain cover.
  340. >The hole itself isn't deep enough to hold you, but you could probably roll all the way to back of the rock and hug your knees to your chest to keep them from sticking out.
  341. "Actually, that's not a bad idea."
  342. >You say.
  343. >Dikeledi's ears twitch, she seems to be picking up on something.
  344. >"Hurry up and do something! I hear something coming to the edge of the jungle!" she says.
  345.
  346. >You get down as low as you can, and snake your way under the rock, careful not to sleep down into the small hole.
  347. >You reach the back, and try curl up on your side.
  348. >Surprisingly, its much roomier in the back, so you can, but your shoulder is squeezing against the under surface, but you can manage.
  349. >You curl your legs and get in a comfortable position.
  350. "Alright, I think I'm good now."
  351. >Dikeledi says nothing, and just crawls into the hole under the ground.
  352. >She sets herself in a good position, leaving a small space open.
  353. >You both look out to Fluttershy, who just stands there, not sure what to do with herself.
  354. >"Well?" Dikeledy asks impatiently.
  355. >"U-uh..." Fluttershy rubs her hooves together, and looks off to the side. Her cheeks have a small tinge of pink. "Y-y-your, uh... Um-"
  356. >"Just get in here already!" Dikeledi yells as she yanks her in, causing her to yelp.
  357. >You here a bit of a shuffle before they stop.
  358. >"Eep!"
  359. >"Quiet, they'll hear us!."
  360. >Well.
  361. >You're not sure what happened there, but you keep quiet, you can hear something breaching the jungle in a hurry.
  362. >After a moment you hear voices
  363. >"I don't see anything out here! Just a rock!"
  364. >"They couldn't have gone too far. They're probably hiding somewhere a bit back, we could have passed them."
  365. >You can't understand them anymore, their words lost in hoots and screeches as they head back.
  366. >You almost sigh in relief when you hear something else come out of the bushes.
  367. >You don't hear any voices, but you don't want to risk it.
  368. >You hear the sound of grass crunching as whatever it is approaches your location.
  369. >It keeps getting closer, as if it knows you're here.
  370. >You bite your lip, hoping that it doesn't. That it gives and just turns back.
  371. >The sounds stop, and you don't hear anything for a while.
  372. >After what seems like forever in silence, you release a breath you didn't know you were holding.
  373. >Whatever it was, it's gone.
  374. >"Hi Anon!"
  375. "Guh!"
  376.
  377. >You jerk your head in surprise, knocking it into the roof of the rock.
  378. "Ah, Shit."
  379. >"Ah!/Oooph!" Comes from the sound of the girls.
  380. >In you're panic you slipped into the hole, squashing them under you weight.
  381. >"Get off fat ass! *crunch*"
  382. "Gah, fuck!"
  383. >You crawl out from under the rock as fast as you can, and clutching your ass in pain.
  384. >"Ghehehe, you warming that up for me, Anon?"
  385. >You stop rubbing your ass for a second when you register voice.
  386. "M-Minka?"
  387. >Yo reluctantly ask.
  388. >"Yep! Did ya miss me anon?"
  389. >You don't even get to turn around, she jumps on your back hugging the back of your neck, pinning you to the ground.
  390. >You scramble around trying to breath as she has you in an awkward headlock.
  391. >You hear a squeaking laughter and look to your right.
  392. >You see Chappy rolling around laughing at your expense.
  393. "Chappy? How could you!"
  394. >He sticks his tongue out at you.
  395. >That cocky little...
  396. >"Hey!" you hear an irritated voice coming from behind you. "A little help here!"
  397. >You shift yourself to see what's up.
  398. >Dikeledi and Fluttershy seem to be struggling to get out of the hole.
  399. >You probably wedged them in pretty good.
  400. "Uh, Sorry. Here."
  401. >You reach your hand out to Dikeledi's paw poking out and tug her loose enough that she can pull herself out.
  402. >She says something in a Zebrican language, and you don't think it's "Thank you".
  403. >That's the first time since you got in to this sub-continent that you've heard someone actually speak in that language.
  404. >Basic really is basic, it seems.
  405. >Fluttershy comes out shortly after, a furious blush on her cheeks, her eyes widened for some reason.
  406. >You can make out a tiny glint coming from her left cheek, but you can't make out what it is.
  407. >When she gets closer, it looks like some sort of... do ponies sweat?
  408. >You reach out to wipe it off when Fluttershy's eyes shift to you, and she shakes her head slowly "no."
  409. >Huh
  410. >Alright, then.
  411.
  412. "Are you alright?"
  413. >She stares at you for a moment, unsure how to respond.
  414. >She just turns to face... a random direction, staring off in the distance.
  415. >You're not gonna push it.
  416. >You reach around your back, and lift off the chimp hanging around your neck.
  417. "Minka."
  418. >"Boop!" she pokes your nose.
  419. >She reminds you of Pinkie with her antics, but even Pinkie isn't on her level.
  420. >Or is it they Are on the same level, but are in different classes.
  421. >Like an arch mage and a herbalist?
  422. >You're not sure who would be what though.
  423. >Pinkie could be the herbalist, because laughter is the best medicine or whatever, but she could also be the arch mage, what with her breaking physics all the dam time.
  424. "Minka plz."
  425. >"Boop Boop!" she keeps poking you.
  426. >You swat at her hand.
  427. "Ahdadada, stahppit!"
  428. >You Put a hand up.
  429. >She freezes mid boop, finger just few centimeters from your own.
  430. "Minka, what are you doing here."
  431. >"I live here, duh! We Came here together, remember? The bus-ride? Did you hit your head too hard?"
  432. "What? No no, I mean here! With us! You're with them aren't you?"
  433. >"What, those guys? Psh, forget about it. I got bored there anyway. Having sex for days on end can get boring after a while, especially when you've already gone through everyone twice."
  434. >What
  435. >"And then when you stole all the food, everyone got crazy and started screaming! Well, screaming for a completely different reason anyway."
  436. >What
  437. >"And I couldn't waste a chance to catch up with my bench buddy!" she grabs you in another choke hold, rubbing her face against yours.
  438. >Her disheveled fuzz face is really itchy on your smoother skin, and you push her off.
  439. "Alright, I get it, c'mon!"
  440. >"Boop!" she pokes your nose again.
  441. >You glare at her for a moment and sigh.
  442. >She just slides off of you in a giggling fit.
  443. >"So." Dikeledi speaks up. "What now?"
  444. >Good question.
  445. >What do you do now?
  446.
  447. >You dig under the rock and pull out your pack that was totally there.
  448. >You check the pouches for your map, but find it ripped a bit.
  449. >You open it up to see if it's still good to use, but the part you actually need seems to have been conveniently torn off.
  450. >NF wtf?
  451. >shh, just go with it.
  452. >You grimace and sigh again.
  453. "Dikeledi"
  454. >"Yeah?" She responds.
  455. "Do you... know the direction of Zebrabwe from here?"
  456. >She looks at you and quirks an eyebrow. "Why? You need something there?"
  457. "Well, not exactly, but I was about to head there this morning when you... when I heard you on the cliff."
  458. >She grimaces, recalling what she could of the morning.
  459. >"Yeah..." she says "I know the way. Heck, see this rock here?" She points at mini pride rock. "It's actually pointing in the direction. I'll lead the way, we could probably make it there by the next morning."
  460. >You nod affirmative and get up, packing whats left of the map into your empty bag.
  461. >Maybe you can use it for toilet paper if you make a pit stop.
  462. "Alright, ya'll ready to go?"
  463. >Minka nods, climbing into your bag, and Chappy onto your head, pulling your stetson secure for sun shade.
  464. >You walk over to Fluttershy and poke her in the back of the neck.
  465. >She jumps, snapping out of her gaze. "Huh, wuh? Anon?"
  466. "You ready to go, Flutters?"
  467. >"Uh... sure? Go where?" she ask, a distant look still in her eyes.
  468. "Zebrabwe"
  469. >Her eyes get more life in them, "Oh, Right! Zecora said you were going there. Yes, I'm ready. I'd love to see all the new little critters around here." She's all excited now, thinking about all the new creatures she'd see that aren't in Equestria. "Speaking of, I never did get to know you're little friend! Chappy was it? Where is the little guy? Is he under here?"
  470. >Before you can say anything, she's already fluttering beside your head, pulling off your hat and snatching your meerkat up.
  471.
  472. >"Oh he's so cute with his little bandana! He's just like angel! But, you know, smaller ears, longer tail. He looks like he's still growing though. Is he an adolescent? Are you raising him well, Anon? I hope you're taking good care of him. You weren't really that good with the smaller critters when you were home. In fa-"
  473. >She's hugging Chappy to hers chest while she goes on to tell you how bad you were with with tiny creatures.
  474. >Said meerkat is struggling to free himself from his banana colored kidnapper.
  475. >You interrupt her by cupping her mouth shut.
  476. "Fluttershy, we can do this on the go. But for now, I need to catch myself, okay?"
  477. >She blinks at you, then nods.
  478. "An put Chappy back before he bites you. He doesn't like being squeezed."
  479. >She looks down to the wriggling mongoose in her hooves. "O-oh..." she mutters into your hand.
  480. >You let go of her snout and she places him back onto your head.
  481. >"S-sorry, Chappy..." she looks at the ground as she flutters back down.
  482. >Chappy squeaks at her.
  483. >"R-really? You forgive me?" she asks.
  484. >He squeaks again.
  485. >"O-ok!"
  486. >Chappy nods and closes your hat.
  487. >You can feel him moving around up there. He's probably gonna take a nap.
  488. >Kid's had a long day, he needs his rest.
  489. "Well, we better get a move on."
  490. >"Finally!" says Dikeledi. "I thought we'd never get moving! Come on, everyone, chop chop! I want to get there in time for breakfast!"
  491. >With that, she starts to walk off.
  492. >You follow her, Fluttershy trotting alongside you.
  493. >You can tell she has something she wants to say to you, but it could wait. You still have long trip ahead of you.
  494. >A long ass trip probably another 100 or so miles off of where you were before.
  495. "Guh..."
  496.
  497. End Chapeter [2]
