Ruudiluca: Right now I am just trying to not spend money unless it's completely necessary. £5 every once in a while isn't too bad.

Ruudiluca: Headset has to be priority at the moment so that I can talk to friends whilst playing Starbound.
Ruudiluca: I have 3 friends who want me to run a server for them.
Tiy: ah so it's NOT that you can't afford it, it's that you want it for free so you can spend your money on something else
Ruudiluca: Nah, I just sold some stuff on Ebay which has allowed me to afford a headset. ;p
Tiy: If you can afford the headset, you can afford the game. Given that the game is less than the headset.
Ruudiluca: But I intend to play the game with friends as I prefer playing games through multiplayer with friends as it enhances the game.
Ruudiluca: A headset would make playing with my friends possible, so I would have to prioritise the headset.
Tiy: Your rationalising that you can't afford Starbound, and thus it's ok to not pay me for the 2 years of work I've put into it. Is ridiculous when your concept of being able to afford something means "I get everything I want"
Tiy: If you had to go without food, or shelter, or basic necessities in order to purchase Starbound I might sympathise with you. But you have an incredibly distorted and entitled idea of what the word afford means
Ruudiluca: I'm not looking for sympathy and I agree with all of your points. I just wanted to be cheeky and see if you'd give me a free game code. :P
Ruudiluca: So you've won. I shall pirate it for now for demo sakes and if I like it I will buy it later (that's what I did with Terraria).
