  2. Narrator has connected.
  3. Avara has connected.
  4. Actinidia has connected.
  5. Avara is disconnected.
  6. Grace has connected.
  7. Grace: :V
  8. Narrator: Hey guys.
  9. Narrator: Male or why am I pink
  10. Narrator: Hold on
  11. Narrator: Hey guys
  12. Narrator: Male or female
  13. Narrator: 7
  14. Narrator: 10
  15. Actinidia: Female?
  16. Narrator: 5
  17. Grace: I was gonna say male but Act beat me to it.
  18. Actinidia: You can also say male
  19. Grace: Aight I will. >:y
  20. Narrator: I need to make 22 tokens. One sec.
  21. DNA: Does that make me the tie-breaker?
  22. Actinidia: It might!
  23. Grace: *drum roll*
  24. DNA: The die of no favorites has chosen 'female'
  25. Actinidia: Fool. All dice have favorites.
  26. Grace: And apparently it's female. :U
  27. DNA: My die only has one favorite, and that is itself.
  28. DNA: It dislikes everyone else equally.
  29. Grace: Jokes on you, my die hate me too. Even the roll 20 ones where they're just rng.
  30. Narrator: I'm doing male because Grace said so and she's a super saiyan.
  31. Narrator: But i can't find my folder of children so uh...
  32. Grace: Pffffft... Well at least someone likes me! :A
  33. Actinidia: I like you! D :
  34. DNA: I like you also!
  35. DNA: But I'm biased so I have to have my die make most decisions for me.
  36. Grace: brb
  37. Narrator: Alright so, rather than make 7 tokens of children I'm just going to drop 7 children faces.
  38. Narrator: Alright~
  39. DNA: Wait, super saiyan children?
  40. Narrator: I'm going to stat up the adversaries and nothing else and use shitty 4E crunchy rules for the other 17 tokens.
  41. Narrator: To save time~
  42. DNA: Ah.
  43. DNA: ...wait, we holed up in the building to sleep, and then...
  44. Grace: I kidd I kid you two. What a wholesome thing to come back to then! :D
  45. Narrator: Remember? I made a thing. And I'm hoping you don't go left.
  46. DNA: I remember the 'don't go left' thing.
  47. Grace: Ditto
  48. Narrator: 2/5
  49. Narrator: 3/3
  50. Narrator: 4/5 (last was supposed to be 3/5)
  51. Narrator: Okay, I'm good to go!
  52. Grace: Woo!
  53. * Actinidia nods.
  54. Narrator: Okay, lemme save campaign because don't wanna lose this stuff.
  55. Narrator: While saving, I'll check the log and launch from where we left off!
  56. Narrator: Do people wanna pull a recap in the meantime?
  57. Grace: We now have a mini entry town, we're heading to the south towards the church/radio tower because the friendly merchant is gonna give us some neat swag if we bring his family back. On the way there we stayed at a small rundown part of hte suburbs, and things got spooky for a bit. Grace went a touch nutterbutters for a bit, before evventually finding some staticy glowy gems. She crushed one in her palms and now she's suddenly very staticy, and is having issues on staying friendly with the ground. :v
  58. Grace: One gem remains too!
  59. Narrator: Oh yeah. Speaking of gem, was anyone gonna use that before gamestart?
  60. If someone was on the fence with it, I'll be honest...
  61. Now's a good time to use it if you gonna use it bruh.
  62. Actinidia: I had no intention. I think it suits Mars better.
  63. Narrator: Grace, were you planing to smash it into your bod?
  64. Grace: The second one?
  65. Narrator: Indeed.
  66. Grace: Dna, do you not want it?
  67. DNA: I would like it, actually, but I don't know what plans you have for it.
  68. Narrator: I kinda figured that's where DNA was.
  69. Actinidia: Magnet Rise Mars sounds like fun.
  70. Grace: None tbh. I was gonna have Grace study it if you didn't wanna go all smashy smashy on it.
  71. Narrator: You don smash, DNA?
  72. Narrator: gon*
  73. DNA: I plan to. It either:
  74. Grants me 1 Electric-type Technique immediately, OR
  75. Treats me as Electric-type for the purposes of pre-requisites from here on.
  76. Correct?
  77. Grace: Yeet. You gain a free move or you become Psudo electric.
  78. Narrator: If you choose to pseudo electric (nice wording) you may restat pokemon abilities and techniques immediately.
  79. Grace: *fingerguns*
  80. DNA: Do I have to choose now?
  81. Grace: if you pusudo yee
  82. DNA: And do I have to qualify for said Electric technique, or can I grab whatever?
  83. Narrator: If you decide to 'count as electric for the prerequisites of pokemon abilities and techniques' you will still need to have the other prerequisites if their are other prerequisites.
  84. Narrator: There*
  85. DNA: I meant for the first option.
  86. Grace: So no free thunder. :V
  87. Narrator: Yes, you still need to meet the prerequisites.
  88. Narrator: It does not bypass any. You just learn an Electric Technique.
  89. DNA: Then I will use it now to get Magnet Rise. There's nothing Electric exclusive that appeals to me strongly. Dry Skin and Spark were it, and even then they're just okay.
  90. Narrator: o7
  91. Narrator: Please, await the Launch
  92. Actinidia: "Good morning everyone. Are we ready to continue our venture?" Actinidia's tail swished, "It feels like so long since we've been on a journey like this, we've always returned so quickly."
  93. Pierce Mars Oswell: Pierce Mars Oswell wakes up but feels like the humidity is crushing him like a weight. All of that armor doesn't help him very much.
  94. Grace Leonhardt: Grace will wake up herself, and pop her back. "Yeah... it kinda does."
  95. July 29th, Thursday.
  96. 82 degrees with 87 degree humidity. It hot and very humid.
  97. 10 mph wind blowing south-southeast.
  98. It's sunny.
  99. Time: 10:35 AM
  100. L A U N C H
  101. Narrator: Also to note, because I noticed south was mentioned. It's to the north.
  102. Narrator: There is a tower to the south, but it is not the one you guys selected.
  103. Grace Leonhardt: (Fug me I did the same thing last time.)
  104. Actinidia: "If we have nothing else to take care of here, should we head on out?"
  105. Grace Leonhardt: (But awwwww you got the back pop thing in~!)
  106. Grace Leonhardt: Grace will shake her head, "I uh, managed to figure out how to flip on magnet rise, so I think I'm good. Sorry for the shock earlier Act..."
  107. Narrator: Also note how much of the saffira you can carry.
  108. DNA: Oh yeah, I found a shitton of treasure, that's right. I don't know how much of it I can carry out.
  109. Actinidia: Completely slipped my mind too. Whoops. How much was it again?
  110. DNA: 3600 safira - 0.3 each - 1080 lbs total
  111. Actinidia: Let me check how much I can carry
  112. Actinidia: recalculating my carry weight based on evolution
  113. DNA: 204.4 comfortably, 464.4 totally
  114. Actinidia: 213.9 comfortably. 503.9 total
  115. Grace Leonhardt: where's the button for carry?
  116. Actinidia: I just wrote the calculation.
  117. Grace Leonhardt: Oh! Gotcha
  118. Actinidia: Actinidia is hurt the least from encomberance. Her resistance and dexterity are so-so and she's got the most range on her techniques.
  119. Actinidia: Totally spelt encumbrance wrong
  120. DNA: I wish I were big.
  121. Actinidia: Anywho. 1666.666666666666666666666666666667
  122. Grace Leonhardt: 328.1 comfy, 683.1 Fully
  123. Grace Leonhardt: Unless might gives a bonus? Probably not considering that seems to be a burst thing.
  124. DNA: ...huh, I wonder...
  125. DNA: 1147.2
  126. DNA: 968.3
  127. DNA: ...Grace and Mars could carry all of it and leave Actinidia unencumbered, in theory.
  128. Actinidia: But that would slow down the two melee fighters. Speed of 5 hurts.
  129. DNA: However we do it, IF we choose to carry all of it, 2 will be encumbered.
  130. DNA: Please, my speed is 6.
  131. Narrator: I am willing to teleport the cart.
  132. Narrator: If it helps.
  133. DNA: THough I think the other effect is that it negates stat bonuses to evasion?
  134. Actinidia: It does, I'm sure. What're the cart rules?
  135. Narrator: Iirc, it was a cart built for a large size creature and would have an encumbrance value of 13.
  136. Narrator: It being an object allows it to be pulled without worry over Carry Weight. But if it is overencumbered it runs the risk of breaking.
  137. Narrator: It can store up to 710 lbs. maximum.
  138. Actinidia: So everyone carries 150 lbs worth and we put the rest in the cart.
  139. Grace Leonhardt: Clean~!
  140. Actinidia: Simple math, easy way to break up the weight without putting everyone a feather away from breaking their back.
  141. Actinidia: 5.0E+2
  142. Actinidia: 5.0E+2
  143. DNA: Sounds good to me, I suppose. I can handle 150
  144. DNA: That means the cart is holding 630 lbs.
  145. Actinidia: Not sure why I can't divide.
  146. Grace Leonhardt: 500 each for carrying.
  147. Narrator: You're divinding by a fraction that's why (decimal)
  148. Narrator: Maptools apparently takes issue with that.
  149. Actinidia: It didn't before!!
  150. Actinidia: >.x
  151. DNA: To be fair, 5.0E+2 is 500.
  152. Actinidia: Okay.
  153. Narrator: Got a cart sprite, Grace? I can't find the one we used last time.
  154. Actinidia: So we take 500 each, the rest in the cart. Which means the cart has 630.0
  155. Actinidia: lbs
  156. Narrator: I tried looking up cart sprite and ended up with a sunglasses wearing star flexing in sneakers.
  157. Grace Leonhardt: I gotchu
  158. Narrator: (( https://static1.squarespace.com/static/58ea60f83e00be49e5d70084/t/58ea7fc446c3c45cf0928b77/1513986126391/ ))
  159. Narrator: For those interested in that image.
  160. Grace Leonhardt: wat
  161. DNA: I don't know what that represents, but that's great.
  162. Grace Leonhardt: dude same.
  163. Actinidia: I'll track the cart.
  164. Narrator: Anyone can move the wagon
  165. Narrator: o7
  166. Narrator: Logistics out~
  167. Actinidia: IC, it makes the most sense for Grace to push it, since she can hold it with her hands and drop it just as quickly.
  168. DNA: Ah, right, it was made for things with hands. Oof.
  169. Actinidia: Act or Mars would need some kind of harness to move it easily.
  170. Grace Leonhardt: Yep. It was made by punching the sh*t out of wood carpentry, and she doesn't mind at all.
  171. Actinidia: One last thing! Actinidia puts the two adult coats, the child's coat and the hotel towel on the pile of money. So it isn't obvious that they're hauling anthing more than clothes.
  172. DNA: Ah, there were coats inside, huh. Neat.
  173. Grace Leonhardt: That's... probably a good idea. Grace is gonna catch on and throw her spare clothes on as well.
  174. * Pierce Mars Oswell currently isn't wearing clothes. Body armor tends to do better. Maybe for later he can get something made.
  175. Narrator: Sorry, put wife to bed. I is back. What'd I miss?
  176. Grace Leonhardt: We're throwing clothes ontop of the cart of dosh.
  177. Grace Leonhardt: because we already deal with bandits before.
  178. Actinidia: We disguised the cart as a laundry bin.
  179. Narrator: Coats. Right. Weight.
  180. Narrator: They are wool coats...
  181. Narrator: ............
  182. Narrator: Why is this listed in grams
  183. Narrator: There were four right?
  184. Narrator: Fuck it, there's four now.
  185. Narrator: Two are 1600 grams.
  186. Narrator: Two are 900 grams.
  187. Actinidia: I'll take four! There were originally two for adults. One for a child.
  188. Narrator: DNA, how to grams?
  189. Actinidia: We added an extra dead child in the name of convenient math!
  190. Narrator: 1600 grams is apparently 3.5 lbs.
  191. Narrator: And 900 is 1.9 lbs.
  192. Narrator: That sounds really light for wool coats.
  193. Pierce Mars Oswell: There are about 2205g in 1 lbs
  194. Pierce Mars Oswell: or did I get that backwards
  195. Pierce Mars Oswell: Yeah, I got that backwards, sorry
  196. Pierce Mars Oswell: 453.6g in a pound
  197. Narrator: Actually, wool coats apparently weigh between 2 and 5 lbs. on average so...I guess it's accurate.
  198. Actinidia: Got it!
  199. Pierce Mars Oswell: Yeah, that is. Wool coats aren't super heavy but they do have at least noticeable bulk.
  200. Narrator: My wool coat feels heavier to me. But then, it's also a doctor who wool coat so maybe it is.
  201. DNA: That's definitely not your 'normal' wool coat.
  202. Narrator: So, looks like we're good?
  203. Actinidia: Yes
  204. Narrator: Towel, spare clothes and four coats.
  205. Narrator: Always bring your towel.
  206. Actinidia: It's why I grabbed it from my hotel room.
  207. Grace Leonhardt: Yep! 2 coats from grace. She's keeping the other clothes
  208. Narrator: I shall await your actions and banter.
  209. Pierce Mars Oswell: "I wonder if a gem-studded dinosaur would be a normal thing. ...Not that I plan on doing that, but it's a weird thought."
  210. Actinidia: Our actions are to Transform and Rollout!
  211. Grace Leonhardt: "Well, it's probably not normal that I'm starting to go the way of thor, so what can ya do?"
  212. Actinidia: continuing our path
  213. Actinidia: unless we get an objection.
  214. Pierce Mars Oswell: "I suppose not. Also, was that gem supposed to be lemon-flavored?"
  215. Actinidia: "Did you eat it?"
  216. Narrator: Oh, are you guys at the houses?
  217. Grace Leonhardt: "I just crushed it, you don't have to eat it... though it is interesting that it has a taste..."
  218. Actinidia: We're traveling north, toward the radio tower, if I'm not mistaken.
  219. Narrator: I made a map, dropped your tokens and enforced you there.
  220. Actinidia: Nope
  221. Actinidia: Must be GM only
  222. Pierce Mars Oswell: "I...yeah, I got a little peckish and ate it. I only realized after I ate that it was indeed not a piece of candy."
  223. Narrator: It isn't.
  224. Narrator: How about now?
  225. DNA: BM001?
  226. Actinidia: No
  227. Narrator: Yes. BM001
  228. DNA: I'm in rows of houses
  229. DNA: Is that it?
  230. Narrator: Yes.
  231. Actinidia: Okay, there now
  232. Actinidia: I was on Seekers of Hope so it didn't grab me
  233. Narrator: So I have to enforce map then view. Got it.
  234. Grace Leonhardt: "Well... at least we learned something a bit more extra than initially thought about those. If we stumble on extras, I wanna see more about those."
  235. Actinidia: "So we can go right or left..."
  236. Grace Leonhardt: "I... think right's to the north?"
  237. Pierce Mars Oswell: "We just keep going in the same direction we've been going. Sounds right, yes?"
  238. Actinidia: "Well now... there are children to the right. And plants."
  239. Grace Leonhardt: "...Wait whot?"
  240. Actinidia: "And... a lot of injured pokemon."
  241. Grace Leonhardt: "...Oh, maybe it's that church? It would be a decent sanctuary?"
  242. Actinidia: "It looks like they're just on the street."
  243. Actinidia: Is the green stuff grass or liquid or something else strange?
  244. Grace Leonhardt: "Eheh... can't blame me for hoping the trip was shorter...?" Grace will say scratching the back of her head.
  245. Actinidia: Going to wait for the answer on the green stuff. Kaorin may be distracted.
  246. Narrator: Hm? Oh, I was waiting to see if you were going to make a test for it.
  247. Actinidia: I didn't know I needed one. I can't tell what the graphics are trying to indicate. If it's not obvious IC that's kind of important itself.
  248. Narrator: It's glowing green and in flow. Otherwise, it looks like a cross between freshly cut grass and soil.
  249. Actinidia: Cunning check? I have no focuses.
  250. Actinidia: Cunning 5+5+6+1=17 (STUNT! 5 Stunt Points)
  251. Actinidia: not using stunts
  252. Actinidia: "it looks like pure grass aura... that's so strange..."
  253. Actinidia: "Or some kind of aura, I'm not sure..."
  254. Grace Leonhardt: "... Funky."
  255. Actinidia: Actinidia moves to the edge and looks to the group across it. Can she tell what they are up to? If anything?
  256. Actinidia: Perception 6+1+4+1=12
  257. Pierce Mars Oswell: Perception Sight at the group across the stream. 2+1+4+3=10
  258. Snover: Snover looks up tiredly and see's your group and leans back some, "Levy!"
  259. Timburr: Timburr turns slowly and growls under his breath, "Persistent little shits!!"
  260. Actinidia: "I'm sorry, have we met?"
  261. Timburr: Timburr pushes himself to his feet.
  262. Timburr: Timburr loses 4 power.
  263. Timburr: Timburr gains 4 resilience.
  264. Timburr: Timburr glares are you defiantly, "You might have a different face, but I don't give a fuck! We'll make it there and none of you sons of bitches will be able to stop us!"
  265. Timburr: The other Pokémon behind Timburr slowly turns to look at your group and have to muster the will just to stand.
  266. Actinidia: "Stop you from what now?"
  267. Grace Leonhardt: Grace will press back her ears and tap her hands togeather nervously. "That's... not a good sign..." She'll whisper loud enough for her group to hear.
  268. Timburr: Timburr spits to the sidewalk in front of him. It has blood mixed in it. His right arm seems to be twisted unnaturally, "Playing dumb again? Well I ain't falling for it!"
  269. Nosepass: Nosepass looks back at the children before looking to the Timburr, "Levy we don't have any berries or drinks left. If we fight this is our last stand."
  270. Levy Fullmore: "Don't I know it?" Levy Fullmore motions with his good arm, "Take the kids and go. I'll hold off these bloods."
  271. Actinidia: "I am a skilled healer, you know. I can see what I can do to help you through this. I just need to know that you don't plan to... um.. eat those children or something."
  272. Nosepass: "If you stay, I stay. They can take the kids."
  273. Pierce Mars Oswell: "Wait...bloods?" Mars noted. "You mean like the Seekers of Blood? Those sick bastards?"
  274. Grace Leonhardt: Grace was nervous as all hell, but she prickles a little at being called one of those nutters. "Time out! Yeah, we're not with them! We're not sick in the head!"
  275. Actinidia: Actinidia speaks up in human "(Hello Children. Don't be afraid, we don't mean harm. Are you doing well? Do you know these pokemon?)"
  276. Child 3: The children that are conscious turn to Actinidia with blank looks, "...Daddy, it...it talked."
  277. Levy Fullmore: Levy Fullmore turns back to Child 3 with a pained look before looking back to Actinidia, "I can't trust that you are. But you come anywhere near my daughter-any of the children, and I will crush your skull."
  278. Levy Fullmore: "Freeda, you take the kids and go. Don't worry about me. I'll catch up."
  279. Actinidia: "How about this." Actinidia turned away from the group and hurled a ball of aura centered on UT32.
  280. Freeda Magrath: "That's what Jim said...we haven't seen him in days."
  281. Actinidia: Accuracy check TN 13 1+6+6+7=20 (STUNT! 1 Stunt Point)
  282. DNA: That is the most hilarious way to aim at empty air.
  283. Actinidia: Centered on UT32 is a field of grass. 8 meter radius.
  284. Actinidia: Actinidia loses 4 power.
  285. Actinidia: "If you stand on that grass, you will feel the fatigue drain from your body."
  286. Actinidia: Grassy Terrain
  287. Levy Fullmore: Levy Fullmore cautiously glances to the grassy terrain, "...What is it?"
  288. Tangela: "It's...!" Tangela gasps, "A healing field! Jim used to be able to do it!"
  289. Levy Fullmore: "Make sure first."
  290. Tangela: Tangela cautiously steps into the field and visibly looks less sick.
  291. Actinidia: "Grassy Terrain. It restores the life of all who stand on it. It also makes grass attacks stronger, but I like to use it to heal my allies and to force stalemates against enemies I'd rather get along with."
  292. Levy Fullmore: Levy Fullmore watches you with distrust for a moment before motioning to the terrain with his head, "Freeda, get the children in that."
  293. Freeda Magrath: "And lift! Carefully!"
  294. Freeda Magrath: The Pokemon carefully carry the children into the field and let's the restorative grass aura do its work.
  295. Actinidia: Actinidia smiles.
  296. Levy Fullmore: Levy Fullmore relaxes some, "...I still don't trust you. But thank you."
  297. Grace Leonhardt: Grace will let out a sigh of relief seeing things were plenty more peaceful once they decided to go out on a limb.
  298. Actinidia: "Freeda sounds familiar. I'm not sure why." Actinidia turns to her friends, "Have we heard about these ones?"
  299. Pierce Mars Oswell: "...You don't need to trust us. Just pay it forward."
  300. Pierce Mars Oswell: "Hm, now that you mention it..." Mars tries racking his memory.
  301. Levy Fullmore: "Freeda, you know these blokes?"
  302. Grace Leonhardt: "Where are you trying to go?" Grace will ask, though still nervous. Less, but still nervous.
  303. Freeda Magrath: "I don't..."
  304. Pierce Mars Oswell: "...I'm sorry. I don't know."
  305. Actinidia: "We may have mutual friends. Or met at Otakon before all of this."
  306. Levy Fullmore: "We're heading to..." Levy Fullmore pauses, "Safety. It's south of here. That's all I'll tell you."
  307. Levy Fullmore: "But we've been hunted by the bloods for pretty much our entire venture."
  308. Grace Leonhardt: Perking up, "We've come from the south, and we're heading north."
  309. Actinidia: "Have you heard of Amarant Grimsley? Or Radegonda? Or Slen?"
  310. Levy Fullmore: "...Grimsley..."
  311. Freeda Magrath: "He's...he's still alive right?"
  312. Actinidia: "The last I saw. And I doubt anything could kill that man."
  313. Freeda Magrath: "Oh thank the lord he's alive! I don't know what I'd do i-"
  314. Levy Fullmore: "Grimsley. What is he now?"
  315. Actinidia: "He evolves every time I see him. Infernape by now, probably.
  316. Levy Fullmore: Levy Fullmore clenches his left hand into a fist and looks away in shame.
  317. Freeda Magrath: "...Levy. You can evolve too."
  318. Actinidia: "He's well hidden, and not someone I would cross by sharing that information. But if you know where he is, I'm sure he'd take your lot in. Protecting children is his top priority, and he's no friend of the bloods."
  319. Levy Fullmore: "Can? I can?!" Levy Fullmore spun around, "Look at you! Look at the kids! Look at me! I need to! To protect us!"
  320. Freeda Magrath: "...He's my brother." Freeda Magrath says, "Levy was one of his closest friends."
  321. Actinidia: Actinidia looks to her allies and speaks in a lower voice. "...eviolite, is that something we should share...?"
  322. Pierce Mars Oswell: "...If it will help them, I do not mind giving it up. Only I can use it now, and not for much longer." He kept his voice low also.
  323. Levy Fullmore: "I..." Levy Fullmore sighs, "I'm sorry. I shouldn't..." Levy Fullmore bites his tongue before turning back to Actinidia, "The bloods have been hunting us. We haven't slept in god knows how long..."
  324. Grace Leonhardt: "Well... we kinda don't really have too much of a use for it right now?"
  325. Levy Fullmore: "We were a field trip. There were thirty-six children. Were...and two dozen parents, easy. Look at us now."

  327. Actinidia: "I would love to."
  328. Levy Fullmore: "I won't ask you to come south with us. You said you're going north but...this...this would keep us an advantage those bloods won't be counting on."
  329. Pierce Mars Oswell: "...We're out looking for someone's family as well, and they were last seen somewhere north of here. It was...a Pichu and an Audino? Have you seen either of those?"
