  1. A cavernous den
  2. Carved directly out of the stone walls, this den is fairly rugged still. None of the surrounding walls, nor the ceiling, are smoothed out - rough, sharp edges remaining all over the place. The air is still damp, smelling fairly foul in nature. The floor is dirty, covered in a mixture of innards, blood, and the earth itself. Decorative skulls have been unceremoniously hung from a few spots on the walls, serving as torch placeholders. Overall, though the space is large, it feels cramped and neglected. An entryway has been carved out of the stone, heading out of the southern part of the room. Some of the blood and remains seem to trail off in that same direction.

  4. A bloodied ritual chamber
  5. Beneath the northern entry way are trails of blood and bits of various creatures, all leading towards the center of the chamber. In the center is a large altar, suitable for two people to easily reside atop. Blood pools across and down every inch of it, caked on layers of it seeping into the earth at the base. Shackles with thick chains are embeded into the stone of the altar, bits of flesh remaining still stuck to them. Hanging upon various places on the walls are tools, varying in size and utility. Some are still dripping in blood, while others simply rest with the dried bits remaining. Carved into the southeastern floor are a few steps, trailing off downwards.

  7. An underground, heated pool
  8. Spiraling steps end as the basement area begins. The early areas of the space are filled with various barrels and buckets, all stuffed full of organs and remains. Though, to offset the foul smell, some fragrant herbs and dried flowers are hung just above them from the cavernous ceiling above. Heading further into the basement, you find a large pool. A few steps lead down into it, a hint of steam rising up from them and the waters - a reminder that the temperature is likely warm. In a pit nearby one edge, several volcanic rocks - still red with heat - reside. This allow for easily raising the temperature of the pool by simply tossing one into the waters, ensuring one could even be boiled to bits if desired.
