"I don't mind. I hardly wished to go somewhere I would be recognized. I've come here because..."
Her sharp claws clutch at her cloak, and you hear the subtle sound of stretching fabric.
"I believe my husband is having an affair!" She says, her deep voice cracking slightly.

She tries to regain her composure. "Well, he's a very important dwarf, you see. He's been a senior mining site manager in Xarcabard for 10 years, and in Tomra for 15. He's usually quite punctual, but lately he's been coming home far later than usual."

"He also seems distracted and... inattentive. It's like it hardly enters into his mind anymore."
"And when I started asking his co-workers, they all said he'd been leaving the site early! I brought it up and he said that it's a new site! I asked him where, and he got upset."

The Duchess takes a deep breath. "And... well I told him I would be out of town for a couple weeks. It gave me a chance to hire some investigators who weren't likely to be afraid of his influence, and could keep ugly rumors from spreading. Since he knows I'm gone, he may slip up in my absence."

"The summit? Hardly... he isn't royalty, he just happens to be a well-respected figure in the Mining Industry. And when you're a dwarf, you are always in the mining industry as they say."

"The Royal Mining Company.  They handle most of the non-private industry in Tomra, and they hold the agreement of exclusivity with Xarcabard. That's where we met, actually. He swept me away with him back to Tomra only to make a fool of me." She spits bitterly.

"That is what I was hoping for. I don't know if there's much I could tell you that would be of help... He usually sees her on the weekends I believe." - HOLD IT

"If at all possible, I would like this handled with discretion. I am trying to protect what is left of my reputation."

"His name is Voldreak Ortung he is... well he's short and bearded but that probably..." She thinks hard. "His eyes are-" she pauses again. "His badge is an eight-pointed star with a red ruby in the center. He usually wears an ultramarine helmet with gold trim. And his beard is in a triple braid."

"He works number Twenty-seven sixteen." She explains.
