  1. [22:36] <Gamesmaster> It is 06:40 hours, 5th October, 3067. After disabling the engine, the cadets were breathing a sigh of relief, taking a moment to recover from their pitched battle with the enemy battlearmour. Without any communications from the command team, the squad was becoming worried that they were cut off from the command star. It was only then that Diersons comm unit blared into life, the sounds of a pitched battle blaring through the speaker unit
  2. [22:37] <Gamesmaster> "This is Star Captain DeVega, we have made progress towards the bridge, enemy personnel cleared from habitation areas" the voice crackles, the sound of high powered autorifle fire being broadcasted from the background
  3. [22:38] <Gamesmaster> "However the enemy has us pinned down, what is the situation over? We need more time"
  4. [22:39] <Gamesmaster> Placing the receiver to his lips, Dierson responds in his usual blunt manner "Enemy has been eliminated, we have secured the objected. KF drive has been disabled. We will now move towards the communications dish to disable all internal communications."
  5. [22:41] <Gamesmaster> "Neg" comes the reply. "We need immediate backup, the enemy has us pinned down with a heavy autogun enplacement. It appears the security system has been activated, and we cannot make progress" you hear a pause as more autorifle sounds explode form the receiver
  6. [22:41] <Gamesmaster> now closer to the receiver
  7. [22:42] <Gamesmaster> "Priority is to disable security bridge systems. It appaesr they have also bolted the bridge, both systems need to be overcome before we can breach and end this. With the system disabled, claws two and three will be able to reform and attack them from the rear quifaff? "
  8. [22:43] <Gamesmaster> "Aff" comes Diersons reply.
  9. [22:43] <Gamesmaster> "It will be done."
  10. [22:43] <^Stephan^> We should redirect to eliminate those systems, Dorn. Perhaps we should regroup with Claw 2.
  11. [22:46] <Gamesmaster> *The communication link closes*
  12. [22:46] <Jacob_Dorn> If we can reach main engineering controls then we should be able to diver power away form the bridge.
  13. [22:46] <Jacob_Dorn> That will shut out the lights at least
  14. [22:46] <Gamesmaster> Dierson pauses, thinking
  15. [22:48] <Gamesmaster> "We have already shut down the main kf drive. If we shut down the power, we will also be at a similar disadvantage" he says slowly
  16. [22:49] <^Stephan^> Maybe we can ventilate the air form the bridge. Are there any airlocks on the bordgae?

  18. [22:50] <Gamesmaster> "Perphaps. Either way, although you spoke out of turn, a small team would have the most chance of success. The majority of the claws will also need to make speed to relieve the command star."
  19. [22:51] <Jacob_Dorn> Closest thing we have to grenades is C8 we want to take out the Big Gun not blow a hull breach in the bridge.

  21. [22:51] <^Stephan^> Or rather can we access the enviromental controlls to the bridge from the engineering section?
  22. [22:52] <Gamesmaster> "C8 is more than possible. Biorn brought several packs*
  23. [22:52] <Jacob_Dorn> This is going to sound insane but...
  24. [22:53] <Jacob_Dorn> We could take a space walk and blow a hole in the Brige main observation.
  25. [22:53] <Gamesmaster> "I am no lowly tech, I have no knowledge of this crafts onboard systems. Only that most bridges on such vessels have backup supplies"
  26. [22:53] <Jacob_Dorn> Suck them out into space.
  27. [22:54] <^Stephan^> If we get full acces, I am guessing that any backup systems can be overrided form the engineering, quiaff?
  28. [22:54] <Gamesmaster> "If we can isolate the bridge crew from their personnel by taking out interior communications and monitoring systems, then they will be more easily overcome. That is a possibility Dorn, but the Command Star is our priority"
  29. [22:56] <Jacob_Dorn> I tried to pop the hatch of tin man there... but no luck.
  30. [22:56] * Jacob_Dorn points to the dead or disabled Battle Armour
  31. [22:57] <^Stephan^> Interesing idea. How long does it take to suit up in the bettlearmour?
  32. [22:58] <Jacob_Dorn> Should not take lon as most of the systems are already powerd up just a case of getting the guy in side out and some one outside in.

  52. [23:11] * ^Vane^ crouches with a sigh, and checks over his equipment and weapons.

  54. [23:12] * Jacob_Dorn pulls out his PDA and plugs it into the datajack on the suit

With a lick and a hum, several large metal screws unlock, and the front panel slowly peels back to reveal the large form of its occupier. He moans, his eyes rolling almost open for a second, and then he passes out again.

  68. [23:18] <^Stephan^> I would recommand that claw 2 depart with haste and assist the command claw.

  73. [23:21] <Gamesmaster> *Dierson walks over, and forcibly pulls the man from the suit, dropping him onto the ground. In one quick motion, he binds the mans hands with cable ties taken from his utility belt*
  74. [23:22] <Gamesmaster> "This one will not cause us any further trouble. He must be interrogated, it will be ultimately up to the Star Commander what happens to the prisoner. He could be useful as a bondsman to us if nothing else."

  94. [23:34] <Gamesmaster> *The straps immediately tighten automatically around Dorn as he enters, and the suit requests permission to seal as it pulls him into the cushioned interior*
  95. [23:34] * ^Stephan^ picks up the healmet and gives it to Dorn.
  96. [23:34] * Jacob_Dorn grants persmision and starts the suit up
  97. [23:35] <^Stephan^> Quicly Dorn.
  98. [23:35] <Gamesmaster> *The exterior closes, and the suit reads several errors regarding life support functionality*
  99. [23:36] <Jacob_Dorn> Good thing I am earing this Space suit...

  101. [23:40] * Jacob_Dorn begins to move albeaint a little clumsy and ploding

  108. [23:42] <Gamesmaster> "May as well utilise it" you can hear a tone in Diersons voice which suggests a disatisfied tone of.. almost approval. "In that case, Cadets Vane, Stephan, Dorn, you will head towards the internal security room. Take Cadet Linus with you, he has electronics knowledge which could be useful."

  110. [23:43] <Gamesmaster> "The rest of us will procede immediately to the bridge"
  111. [23:44] * Jacob_Dorn gives a thumbs up with the claw hand
  112. [23:44] <^Stephan^> I would suggest that claw 2 attemps to knock out any system that may hinder the enemy and assist allys, while claw 3 heads toward the command claw as direct support.

  122. [23:49] <Jacob_Dorn> There is a Elevator up ahead we need to take that then a short coridor then up a flight of stairs

  200. [00:29] * Jacob_Dorn readys the flamer of the suit and unleashes Hell in their general direction...

  206. [00:39] <Gamesmaster> *Depressing the fire switch, the flamer of Dorns suit roars into life. However, even as it does so, the suit records a system pressure fault, and the spray of the nozzle disengages into a wide pattern rather thana constrained stream of fire. The entire corridor is bathed in flaming death, all of the security perosnnel being overwhelmed by the vehicle grade weapon
  207. [00:39] <Gamesmaster> Their screams are short as they are soon carbonised by the intense heat, and the steel of the corridor itself lights up in a crimson orange glow
  208. [00:39] <Gamesmaster> The smell of charged flesh washes up the now abalze corridor, alongside choking smoke*
  209. [00:40] <Gamesmaster> *Stephan, attempting to dodge the fire, just manges to roll into a crevice near the central walkway, avoiding the majority of the blast. he screams out in pain as he feels his flesh begin to char, and passes out from the pain as his clothes instantly catch on fire*
  210. [00:40] <Jacob_Dorn> Thank you backed potato...
  211. [00:41] <Gamesmaster> *He rolls several metres, clear of the inferno of the corridor, and goes unconcious, even as the plastic of the walls begin to run*
  212. [00:42] * Jacob_Dorn stares blankly at the bbq of carnage
  213. [00:43] <Gamesmaster> *Dorns flamer reports a systems fault, and shuts off, its indicator going blank*

  220. [00:55] <Gamesmaster> *Depressing the switch, the secondary nozzle fires a jet of intense pressure water out of the nozle directly onto stephans prone body
  221. [00:57] <Gamesmaster> the fire slowly goes out as Dorn continues the stream, directing it around Stephans prone form*
  222. [00:58] <Gamesmaster> *Even in the suit, dorn can begin to feel the intense heat of the alight corridor*
  223. [01:00] * Jacob_Dorn after Stephan has been dowsed he uses the remainder of the tank to try and put out the fires.
  224. [01:03] <Gamesmaster> *The stream fires out into the fire, lowly but surely lessening it intensity. However, the area still burns,a lbeit less fiercly*
  225. [01:07] <^Vane^> MEANWHILE
  226. [01:07] * ^Vane^ looks around for a ladder.
  227. [01:10] <^Vane^> Alright Linus, follow.
  228. [01:11] * ^Vane^ starts climbing the ladder he spotted, proceeding to using mag boots after it runs out, making his way to the hole in the wall. Where there's lots of screaming.
  229. [01:11] <Gamesmaster> "Hurry, I do not think the elevator will stay in one place for long!" he answers, attempting to find his feet
  230. [01:11] <Gamesmaster> *It is not long before Linus and Vane haul themselves into the corridor. Meanwhile, with a screech behind them, the elevator finally gives way, dropping several floors back towards the engine deck*
  231. [01:12] * ^Vane^ looks at the carnage beyond in disbelief.
  232. [01:12] <Gamesmaster> *Slowly, and with a sputter, the flames slowly begint to die away, as Dorn continues the stream of water onto their position*

  234. [01:13] <Jacob_Dorn> Flamer malfunction....
  235. [01:13] <^Vane^> I am of a mind to boil you.
  236. [01:14] <^Vane^> Literally.
