SVTFOE: You Really Got Me Now Part 16



	The party continued throughout the evening everyone seemed to be having a good time, pixie dust was all over the backyard still sparkling giving that "magical" feeling, sadly 16 more pixies flew again into Mr. Diaz bug zapper even though he had turned it off after the initial massacre; but one of them turned it back on wanting to see the light again; still Alphonso was un-phased he was once a powerful king he has seen some shit that even Star may think is too much. As the sun began to set Mr. Diaz had turned on a spotlight he rented to illuminate the dancers but much to his chagrin not many people were dancing, it was just largely him and his wife; which while fun this party wasn't for them. Mr. Diaz made his way over to his son who was getting into a burping contest with  the surviving Pixie's of the great birthday massacre of 2020.

"Marco can you do your old man a favor?" he asked pulling him aside, from a contest which by the way Marco felt he was totally winning.

"Sure dad, what is it?".

"Go dance with Star, get people to loosen up if they see you two having fun".

Marco groaned, he was afraid of this.

"Dad c'mon Star has forced me into seeing enough romantic comedies to  know what your trying to do; and besides I don't feel like dancing."

"C'mon Marco its turning into a snoozefest out there we gotta change the mood" his father began to plead.

"Maybe if you used some of the music I suggested people would be more into it, but you had to use your latin dance music; its so played out dad"

"Ok Ok your right I'll change it up; maybe you can play one of your precious vinyl's too but at least try to get the party going again"

Marco grumbled and rolled his eyes; "Fine just change the music stream from Spotify or pandora if you have to I got an idea", Marco replied turning back to the pixies. "Would you guys and girls mind helping me out? I have pixies sticks in the kitchen and there all yours if you do"

"OOOOH" replied the Pixie swarm in unison; "were in" said Alphonso's oldest child said; well now he's technically the oldest, the real oldest was the first to fly into the bug zapper.

Marco walked to the center of the dance area with the pixies swarming around him as his dad started to play some music, wisely he had chosen Earth, Wind and Fire's "September". Marco started to dance and so did the pixies by flying around him and doing all sorts of flying manoeuvres others began to shoot of magical energy beams into the sky like fireworks; in hindsight those things look like they can do some serious damage. Marco kept busting a groove, mostly by imitating Chris Pratts dance moves from the Guardians of the Galaxy   trilogy, wasn't long before a crowd had gathered to watch some tapping their feet to the groove, Star had pushed to the front to see him dance she thought it was amazing.

As Marco danced, Janna jumped in right up next to him and began to grind her butt up against his chest. "Oh fuck no" Marco thought, and reached for the nearest thing in a dress to move away from Janna and StarF-Daron was the lucky winner; Marco grabbed a hold of her and began to spin around as Janna looked on envious as other people began to clap, Marco didn't notice Star who was bitting her lower lip and staring longingly at them. Daron was having a great time when Janna pushed her out of the way and took Marco's hand.

"Janna that was fucked up you know that right?" Marco scolded her and did a spin picking up Daron and placing her back on her feet; he continued to dance with her like nothing happened by this point other people had started to dance so at least his little stunt worked. Daron had a huge smile on her face; "This is just like on of my fan fictions!!" she squealed, "Now tell me you love me but can't decide between me or Tom". It is at this point that Marco realized what a horrible mistake he's made. Waiting for the song to end he continued to dance with Daron as Janna stared at her, briefly he noticed Star staring him, when the song finally ended he thanked Daron for being his dance partner and made his way out of the crowd.

"Call ME?" Shouted Daron. She pulled out her phone and placed a call 'Mom it finally happened, I have a boyfriend now tell my cats mommy is going to be home late tonight".

Marco sat down at a table, people were dancing and the party was going again, guess his dad was happy; shame the look on Stars face didn't exactly make him happy he looked around and finally saw her standing alone seeing people dance. After a short while she gave him another quick glance, smiled then looked away; Marco tried to wave, but he wasn't fast enough. Star was feeling pretty embarrassed she was standing right next to StarFan or Daron whatever for a second she thought Marco was going to pull her in for a magical pixie dance, but she was wrong so very wrong; behind her she could hear Daron talk to another girl about her and Marco's future wedding if she asks politely maybe she can be a bridesmaid Star thought.

"Hey uh wanna dance?" came a voice in front of her; It was Oskar.

"Oh hey Oskar...uhm wouldn't you rather dance with Janna I mean you know"

"Nah she's too busy bitching at me to be more like Marco to want to do anything with me besides the occasional kinky RP...you know she makes me wear a red hoodie during right?"

Star shivered at the implications. "Eww too much information Oskar," she said repulsed. A few seconds or later Boom Clap started to play over the loudspeakers.

"Well anyways do you or not?" Oskar asked again.

Star was hesitant but she really wanted to dance, not like this night could get any more embarrassing; so she agreed and followed Oskar to the dance floor. She did not notice Janna's death stare.

"Unbelievable, first she takes the guy I've liked since elementary school now the guy I fuck and dress up to look like the guy I've liked since elementary school" Janna mumbled angrily to herself. "I can't catch a fucking break".

Star and Oskar began to dance to Boom Clap, Mr. Diaz saw them having fun and looked around for Marco finally found him in the corner sitting alone in the dark, the party was going again but so far it hasnt helped his son out at all.

"Oh Marco you do this to yourself buddy"  Suddenly he had an idea, he had to get Marco's attention, he aimed one of the spotlights he rented at him. Marco shielded his eyes, "what the?" he looked at the source the light i was his dad.

"SORRY" he yelled out to him, bobbing his head in a certain direction as if he wanted Marco to look. Marco looked into the crowd, he saw nothing particulary interesting just people dancing he got a glimpse of Star couldnt tell who she was with; whatever though if she wants to dance then let her dance. A few seconds later he noticed Oskar with her she was dancing with Oskar wtf Marco thought.

A few seconds later he noticed Janna walk up angrily to her and slap Star; a couple people stopped dancing to look. Marco stood up unsure of what to do not only was Janna a girl she was a pregnant girl so its not like he could do anything to intervene; Janna started to yell at Star but Star surprisngly kept calmed and didn't do anything then Janna turned her fury on Oskar, Marco could only hear certain words like asshole and boy stealing slut. Marco knew who she was probbaly talking about and it made him very angry; after a few seconds she grabbed Oskar and stormed out of the backyard, everyone returned to what they were doing seeing as how there was no real girl fight, Star left the dance floor alone and began to head back to into the house; this just broke Marco's heart seeing her look so defeated.

Marco's right eye began to twitch like when hes under a lot of stress. This was his fault he should have stayed with her wierd feelings or not and now she's leaving her own party because he wasnt around to have her back, he didn't even ask her to dance which was literally the least he could do he might as well push her to the ground.

Fuck this, he should have realized what he wanted a long time ago; Hopefully its not too late.

He walked towards Star, his dad noticed this and played a new song. "You got her back, your dads got yours" Mr. Diaz said to himself. "Go get your girl son"

Marco grabbed Stars hand and she turned around in surprise. "Marco?"  she said quietly. Her cheek was still red from the slap; Marco pulled her close and slid his hand across the red cheek.

"I'm so sorry I haven't been acting like a true friend lately please forgive me" he whispered to her; and with that he held her by the waist and kissed her passionately in front of the crowd. "May I have this dance?" Marco asked pulling away from her lips as the song continued.

"It's true
Baby I'm howlin' for you"
