  22. [2014-04-05 17:02:55] <LuckyLeaf> Wintergreen has been doing a check up Firefly's parents. Her mother is lost a wing, having small charred spots on her coat close to it, other than that she is mostly just malnourished, having avoided the drug laced rations until very recently and only fed on the little crops she could take without being seen. She didn't spend enough time making charcoal to have lasting lung problems.

  28. [2014-04-05 17:07:06] <LuckyLeaf> Firefly's father is somewhat altered, having been subjected to some experimental drugs. He is stronger, but his eyes shrunk, one of them shriveled and dead, the other reduced to a legally blind state.

  43. [2014-04-05 17:14:54] * Royal_Lace nods and looks to Nicknack, "And with a foalsitter all this foal needs is... well a aunt would ne ideal, we havent talked about it, Sotho and I but I was wondering if you were interested?"

  45. [2014-04-05 17:18:50] <LuckyLeaf> "...I-I? What?" Knick_Knack blinks. "Why?" She still looks a bit dazed. "Just have the... wait, no... I..."
  46. [2014-04-05 17:19:25] * Sotho chuckles lightly. "Is something the matter Knick Knack?"
  47. [2014-04-05 17:20:59] <LuckyLeaf> "It's... uh, toilet, sorry!" She steps out of the table and rushes upstairs.

"Well, and thus raises another reason we need to make this yard safer. Lace won't be able to move around much around the wasteland in time, and I will be staying with her. So I'd rather we have a healthy home base and eventually a home town."

  59. [2014-04-05 17:32:52] * Firefly nods to Royal_Lace. "Uh-huh. They're sick though... once they get better, we'll go out and help everyone who needs it. It'll be awesome!"
  60. [2014-04-05 17:32:53] * Ignis shrugs. "You know...that's a question I haven't been able to answer since...seven?" The dragon smiles sadly. "It always seem that events tide over me and people...stop mattering altogether, sometimes in nonpleasing ways...I... I am no wiser than I ever was, Lace....there's no plan or some dream, because in the end, chances are that it is going to fizzle all the same into mundancy."
  61. [2014-04-05 17:35:12] * Royal_Lace rolls her eys, "as bright and opotomistic about the future as the day we met Ignis". Looking to firefly she nods, "Yes, but its a good thing we know so many medics who can help take care of your parents, im sure they will be up and around in no time at all!"

  70. [2014-04-05 17:39:51] <LuckyLeaf> "...I know." She sniffs and dries her tears on a blanket.

"I wish I could unite us...dragons...again into a proper culture, time and ill feelings had done much to ravage both our hearts and our minds...yet, I still believe we can dig back into something to hold us together once more."

He says happily. "You do know, that Lace... would be my second wife correct?" He asks. "I have a wife and child waiting for me back in my home village. Does that mean I don't like Lace, no. Does me being with lace mean I like you less? No."
  75. [2014-04-05 17:46:33] * Royal_Lace smile widens, "That sounds like a very admerable goal Ignis, paticularly for a being that only just moments ago preached against plans or dreams. What do you think firefly, rediscovering the roots of ones species and culture in order to help mend them and bring them together once again, a wonderful goal isnt it?"

  81. [2014-04-05 17:52:32] * Ignis glares towards mare and filly. "Yes, there may be a few who...strayed too far from redemption, those greed-addled two-time-faggots who would rather play gods to trouser-pissing raiders and scum." His teeth cringes and his claws clench. "Who would ratger squander every ounce of meaning just to play lord of the mooks...grrr..."
  82. [2014-04-05 17:53:12] <Sotho> "Books?" He asks her, sounding confused.
  83. [2014-04-05 17:55:11] <LuckyLeaf> Knick Knack blushes. "Uh..." She avoid Sotho's eyes. "No books. What books? Books?"

  87. [2014-04-05 17:59:52] * Ignis recomposes himself, reassuming his mostly calm posture. "...yes, looks like there are certain kinds pf being who just understand one language." The dragon just spares a cursory glance to Lace. "No, I didn't...lucky or not...I'm the only dragon I've ever met....its just that sometimes, I lay and think...couldn't I had become like that? Was my nature trailed toward that behaviour? I wonder..."
  88. [2014-04-05 18:02:51] * Royal_Lace nods, "Well perhapse its best not to dwell on has beens and what ifs"

  94. [2014-04-05 18:08:28] * Sotho looks over them for a moment, sparing a glance in them. He smiles and chuckles. "Love isn't so black and white Knick Knack." He smiles at her. "I love my wife, I love Lace, and I love you. As long as I don't reject one of you, there is no harm in it."
  95. [2014-04-05 18:09:15] * Ignis blinks, a spark of interest starting to blaze in his gaze. "so, he did some sort of untactfulness with you..." The dragon draws from that. "Bet it was amusing."

  98. [2014-04-05 18:13:14] * Royal_Lace grins, a wicked twinkle in her eye as she turns back to Ignis, "And you are aware that i could turn you into something that could not vocalize these thoughts after I already stated they are uninteresting details beyond note, yes?"

  103. [2014-04-05 18:16:48] <Royal_Lace> ", she frowns a bit and gives him a bit of a stare, "Maybe a bit more than a bit.... but still, just a bit of harmless fun"
  104. [2014-04-05 18:17:06] * Sotho pets Knick Knack lightly. "Of course, we'd have to discuss with Knick Knack about it, and it will be a while before we meet my with and child, but I will have to discuss everything with her. " He says. "Just know Knack, that you're not being rejected."
  105. [2014-04-05 18:18:38] <Ignis> "Oh...so you mean...you had to saddle him?" He can't help himself from remarking. "Ooh..." He blushes faintly and clamps his lips.

  107. [2014-04-05 18:22:21] * Sotho nods a bit, smiling. "We could. But only if we are all peaceful. There should be no fighting amongst each other, at least no more than a normal family." He says

[2014-04-05 18:22:34] * Royal_Lace Blushes, blanking for a moment before turning to firefly with a wide grin and speaking in a conspiritortial voice, "Hey Firefly, what sort of smile creature have you allways wanted to give lots and lots of hugs and cuddles to? maybe even brush and put ribbons in its hair even!"
  109. [2014-04-05 18:23:20] * Firefly looks to Royal_Lace, about to say something before getting assaulted with a question. "Hrm... well... oooh! What about a big fluffy puppy!"
  110. [2014-04-05 18:23:55] * Ignis knows better than to add further comment, so he just observes...not seeming to care, he had some ploy...

  112. [2014-04-05 18:24:57] * Sotho nuzzles back. "We'll talk about it together, privately. I want you to voice everything to us. It's a personal matter and we want your input."
  113. [2014-04-05 18:25:16] * Royal_Lace Smiles and nods, "You hear that Ignis, she has always wanted a puppy..", her horn flashes as she prepares the spell.

  115. [2014-04-05 18:26:15] <LuckyLeaf> "Okay!" Knick Knack gets herself back to her hooves, setting the figurine back on the shelf.
  116. [2014-04-05 18:27:23] * Royal_Lace dose so and flashes, leaving minature toy poodle Ignis in place of the much larger dragon version of himself.
  117. [2014-04-05 18:28:05] * Royal_Lace THE MOST FLUFFY AND FEMMINEN POODLE SHE CAN CREATE, POSSIBLY WITH POOFY HEART MOTIFES IN HIS FUR
  118. [2014-04-05 18:28:19] * Royal_Lace waves a hoof, "Nock yoursellf out dear"
  119. [2014-04-05 18:28:24] * Sotho nods and starts to trot back downstairs. "Please join us when you're ready." He says, trotting into the dining room and seeing the poodle ignis and the others. "Well... I umm. Missed something, didn't I."
  120. [2014-04-05 18:28:29] * Ignis instantely runs up to lace and sniffs her up, with no regards or shame for where his nose is prodding...because he is a dog and dogs do that
  121. [2014-04-05 18:28:36] * Firefly squeals in delight and starts digging through her saddle bags. She pulls out bits of string and ribbon and even some brushes, and gets to work!
  122. [2014-04-05 18:29:09] * Royal_Lace face hoofs and laufhs as she watches firefly drag him away
  123. [2014-04-05 18:29:09] * Sotho grabs Ignis before Firefly gets to him and glares directly in his cute puppy eyes.
  124. [2014-04-05 18:29:37] * Ignis is too cute, no one can get mad at him.
  125. [2014-04-05 18:30:00] <LuckyLeaf> Knick Knack trots back to the dining room smiling.

  132. [2014-04-05 18:31:58] * Ignis scampers right back to Lace, it wasn't over...not by a mile...
  133. [2014-04-05 18:32:10] <Sotho> "Next time he does that, I will show him the fury of a warrior. In his dragon form of course." He says before smiling. "It went well, but the three of us must talk later."
  134. [2014-04-05 18:32:15] * Firefly gets to work! Baths might be involved... along with some OH GODDESSES WHERE DID SHE GET SALMON-COLORED DYE?!

  136. [2014-04-05 18:33:23] * Sotho stands up and stomps his hooves, and starts to curse in zebra, his eyes almost looking like they were on fire
  137. [2014-04-05 18:34:22] * Royal_Lace floats Ignis directly into Fireflys arms, "Be kind dear, he is after all only a dog..."
  138. [2014-04-05 18:34:30] * Ignis does bark some explanation, but it was lost in canine dialect...
  139. [2014-04-05 18:34:44] * Sotho breathes deeply. "He won't be for long."
  140. [2014-04-05 18:34:48] * Ignis whines and wriggles
  141. [2014-04-05 18:34:52] * Firefly nods. "Ok! I'll make him into the cutest little princess ever!"
  142. [2014-04-05 18:35:08] * Royal_Lace smiles, "Perfect!"
  143. [2014-04-05 18:35:52] * Sotho nods and smiles to Royal_Lace and then to Knick Knack. "Now, let me get started on desert. I was going to to prepare a gem cake for dragons, but we seem to be missing any."

  145. [2014-04-05 18:37:14] * Ignis barks a bit more...he was getting annoyed.

  147. [2014-04-05 18:38:11] * Firefly continues to dress up the 'dog'. She even pulls out a... dress? With frills?

  150. [2014-04-05 18:40:48] * Firefly scrambles after the doggy dragon. "Come on, you'll look soooo cute!"
  151. [2014-04-05 18:41:53] * Ignis instinctively pushes toward outside, alas, he didnt had a plan and his fur... fur? was itching...
  152. [2014-04-05 18:45:51] * Firefly giggles as she catches the puppy. "Ok then, Princess Puff-in-Butt! Its time to put you in your dress... oooh! I wonder if Knick-Knack has a camera..."
  153. [2014-04-05 18:46:25] * Ignis seems more bemused than the usual, and that is saying something.
  154. [2014-04-05 18:47:01] <LuckyLeaf> "Oh, I think there's one on dad's room." Knick Knack trots upstairs.
  155. [2014-04-05 18:47:54] * Sotho prepares a dessert using mint leaves, brown sugar and several fruits, starting to work on it
  156. [2014-04-05 18:48:00] * Royal_Lace whipes away tears as she laughts, and here she had sworn never to use her powers for evil, still this was cute evil that the dragon tottaly had coming so this seemed reasonable enough.
  157. [2014-04-05 18:50:21] <LuckyLeaf> Knick Knack brings back a pre-war camera, in perfect condition.
  158. [2014-04-05 18:50:46] * Firefly squeals in delight. "Ooooh, I'll take pictures after I finished getting you dressed up!" The filly starts tying in so many ribbons, bows, all while leaving Ignis-puppy in an adorable little frilly dress.
  159. [2014-04-05 18:51:20] * Ignis coughs...it seems like he is going to throw up, but it goes as a cough

  161. [2014-04-05 19:00:34] <LuckyLeaf> Time passes and Sotho finally has his desserts ready. Ignis is back to normal and Tamara left to her new camp on the landfill. Cross Section peeks into the kitchen.
  162. [2014-04-05 19:01:00] * Sotho glances at Cross Section before he brings it out. "Hello there."
  163. [2014-04-05 19:02:06] * Firefly waves to Cross Section. "Hi!" The filly is cleaning up her mess from dressing up a puppy.
  164. [2014-04-05 19:02:37] * Royal_Lace waves a hoof to Nick Nack, "Oh you must get me a copy of that photo once its developed, It will always be handy to have around for days when my spirits need lifting"
  165. [2014-04-05 19:04:52] * Ignis is somehow drifting back into his former self, staring at the window...not sure if he should be angry or discontent, it was a poor choice of judgement in either manner. He feels a pang on his stomach and knows far more of woman than he ever wished to...
  166. [2014-04-05 19:04:56] <LuckyLeaf> "Sure!" Knick Knack says, strolling back upstairs
  167. [2014-04-05 19:07:23] <LuckyLeaf> "Oh, Firefly!" Cross Section trots inside. "I heard somepony found a spritebot and I was thinking,wouldn't it be cool if the robot had a loud voice like the ones from those comics?"
  168. [2014-04-05 19:08:23] * Sotho comes trotting in, holding his dessert on his back and then passes out the bowls to everyone, except Ignis
  169. [2014-04-05 19:08:42] * Firefly pauses for a moment, the bits of ribbon and string falling from her hooves. She looks at Cross Section, her eyes bright. "This is the best. Idea. EVER! Let's do it! Where is it?"
  170. [2014-04-05 19:09:57] * Ignis simply leaves everypony be and goes to the kitchen, fumbling a bit to use the oven to boil water.
  171. [2014-04-05 19:11:14] <LuckyLeaf> Cross Section is distracted by the sudden dessert. "Huh? Oh! It's by the wall close to the forest." She turns to Sotho with pleading filly eyes.
  172. [2014-04-05 19:11:46] * Sotho blinks, looking to Cross Section confused. "Are you begging me for something?"
  173. [2014-04-05 19:12:19] * Firefly nods. "Ok, I'll go get it. You can go ahead and have mine, Cross Section! Thanks!" The filly bolts out the door, leaving bits of ribbon and string on the floor.
  174. [2014-04-05 19:14:25] <LuckyLeaf> "Um, can I have dessert too?" Cross Section asks.
  175. [2014-04-05 19:16:05] * Sotho smiles and nods, quickly preparing a last bowl. "enjoy." He says with a smile, sitting at the table to enjoy dessert
  176. [2014-04-05 19:18:06] <LuckyLeaf> Cross Section buries her muzzle on the bowl, devouring all dessert with no mercy.
  177. [2014-04-05 19:19:19] * Sotho eats his own happily, looking to everyone remaining and smiling
  178. [2014-04-05 19:21:04] <LuckyLeaf> As Firefly leaves, she sees Chroma Cure leading Falling Snow and Solar Fury out of the infirmary
  179. [2014-04-05 19:21:29] * Firefly detours from her path, landing near her mother and father. "Momma, Poppa! Is everything ok?"
  180. [2014-04-05 19:21:45] * Ignis leaves the pot with bubbling water and scavenges the cupboard for coffee, trying to see if there was any remaining...probably was...
  181. [2014-04-05 19:22:03] <Sotho> "Perhaps... we should have that conversation after dessert?" He offers to Knick Knack and Royal
  182. [2014-04-05 19:24:10] * Royal_Lace tilts her head, "Sure?"
  183. [2014-04-05 19:26:05] * Sotho nods. "It might be better to have it sooner than later."
  184. [2014-04-05 19:26:08] <LuckyLeaf> Solar Fury is wearing shades and seems more relaxed. He has a wing around Falling Snow as he trots. Snow smiles to Firefly. "We are much better now, thanks to you and your friends."
  185. [2014-04-05 19:26:46] <LuckyLeaf> "You've been very brave, little miss." Fury says.
  186. [2014-04-05 19:27:06] <LuckyLeaf> Knick Knack grins.
  187. [2014-04-05 19:27:32] * Sotho blushes lightly at Knick Knacks Grin
  188. [2014-04-05 19:27:46] * Firefly smiles and nods. "Uh-huh. Just like you taught me to be!" The filly bounces a couple of times. "Anyway, I gotta go get a spritebot. Gonna build me a big robot with a big voice. Back in a bit!" The filly takes flight, heading toward the south wall.
  189. [2014-04-05 19:28:43] * Ignis uncerimoniously picks some, without measure ir anything, and dumps it into the water, proceding to dump the boiling result down his throats...he woukd have second thoughts if he were not a dragon, but as it was...
  190. [2014-04-05 19:29:48] <LuckyLeaf> Cross Section finishes the bowl of dessert and zooms out of the house.
  191. [2014-04-05 19:33:28] * Firefly flies over to the south wall, eager to find this little sprite bot.
  192. [2014-04-05 19:36:25] <LuckyLeaf> Firefly finds a Spritebot still buzzing but unable to fly. Its speakers are sounding radio noise.
  193. [2014-04-05 19:37:00] <LuckyLeaf> Chroma Cure arrives at the main house with Firefly's parents.
  194. [2014-04-05 19:37:18] * Firefly lands down next to the little sprite bot. "Huh. Why'd you stop flying, little guy?"
  195. [2014-04-05 19:40:13] <LuckyLeaf> One of the spritebot wings is broken. Cross Section gallops to Firefly from across the landfill
  196. [2014-04-05 19:41:05] <LuckyLeaf> "Ignis, welcome back," says Chroma
  197. [2014-04-05 19:41:44] * Firefly picks up the spritebot and fiddles with it. "Awe, poor little guy." She prods at the wing, trying to determine whether the mechanical failure was wear and tear, or through a blunt object at high velocity.
  198. [2014-04-05 19:44:50] * Ignis blinks, noticing Chroma... "Oh, hello Chroma, its good to be back..." The dragon does say. "How are are you holding up things? With...well...everything that happened, I imagine your hooves are full, at keast you got the bulk off by now, right?"
  199. [2014-04-05 19:47:02] <LuckyLeaf> Firefly is pretty sure it was struck down by an UFO
  200. [2014-04-05 19:48:01] * Firefly frowns at the spritebot. "You poor thing. Come on, Firefly's gonna fix you up and put you in a giant robot! Won't that be fun?" The filly takes the spritebot and puts it on her back, starting to fly back toward the shop.
  201. [2014-04-05 19:51:14] <LuckyLeaf> Chroma strokes her mane. "They are getting better, but there's still a lot to do. I'm glad to have help, and at least they wont be exploited anymore."
  202. [2014-04-05 19:54:11] * Ignis nods to it. "Well, if you need some help with it right now, I'd like to help aswell."
  203. [2014-04-05 20:00:57] <LuckyLeaf> Cross follows Firefly along to help with plans and ideas
  204. [2014-04-05 20:01:27] * Firefly will be more than happy to take those ideas and implement them! Huzzah friendship!
