  1. >You pull your head away from Rarity and lock eyes with Spike.
  2. >He’s glaring daggers at you.
  3. >To be fair, you’re in bed, naked, with the pony he has a crush on, and you’re crying while she consoles you.
  4. >He has a right to be jealous, you think.
  5. >”I…I understand less and less of what’s going on right now. But I can see that Mr. Anon doesn’t want to be BOTHERED.”
  6. >He tosses the scroll down at Twilights feet and storms out.
  7. >”Spike…wait…” she weakly calls after him, giggling.
  8. “Rarity…why don’t you just tell him?”
  9. >”Because why break his little heart so young? And isn’t just ADORABLE how much he adores me?”
  10. “No, it’s evil and I love you for it.”
  11. >She smiles, wiggling her tail a little as she.
  12. >You wipe your tears with a bit of the blanket.
  13. “You know you’re going to have to tell him, some day. He’s not very helpful when he’s moody like that.” Twilight says with a sigh.
  14. >Twilight magics up the letter and opens it, her eyes darting back and forth as she reads it.
  15. “Well, Twi, you know I can’t read pony. What’s it say?”
  16. >”Oh right, I’m sorry.”
  17. >She reads aloud, clearing her throat slightly.
  18. >”My Faithful Student Twilight Sparkle,
  19. >I received your letter and I responded as soon as I could.
  20. >Though you are the element of Magic, I do not expect you to know everything about magic.
  21. >I am still learning, as well. The magic phenomena that you state Anonymous is facing is unlike anything I have ever heard of, and I wish to speak with him personally.
  22. >I would also like you and the rest of your friends to join him. I believe we have much to discuss.
  23. >Your Mentor
  24. >Princess Celestia.”
  25. >You scratch your head, a little confused.
  26. >Goddamnit the Princess was hard to read.
  27. “Twilight…I have to ask…what did you put in that letter?”
  28. >”Well…I mentioned that you were able to absorb magic after an accident last night. I...I didn’t go into specifics. I didn’t want to worry the Princess.”
  29. >Rarity pipes up soon afterwards.
  30. >”And I take it you didn’t mention the salt?
  31. “Or Fluttershy, for that matter?”
  32. >”No, Rarity, I didn’t mention the salt. That’ll be our secret, hopefully.”
  33. >She looks to you and exhales softly, closing her eyes.
  34. >”Anonymous, since you’ve mentioned Fluttershy I…I didn’t want to really ask…but I can’t possibly imagine what you’re saying is true. Fluttershy would never try and hurt you. You know that.”
  35. >You look to Rarity and share a mutual understanding.
  36. >This mare won’t believe you.
  37. “So, no?”
  38. >She shakes her head. Negative.
  39. >You breathe deeply and slide off the bed, standing up. Your knee joints pop noisily.
  40. >Wow it’s drafty all of the sudden.
  41. >You look down and see Anon Jr. happily exposing himself.
  42. >Twilight gasps a little.
  43. >”I mean…I’ve seen if before but…”
  44. >She trails off and approaches you, an all-too-curious gleam in her eye.
  45. >Rarity catches this as well, and magics the blanket around you like a toga.
  46. “Thanks Rarity. I guess you didn’t have time to dress me after I…uh…”
  47. >”Anonymous, I was scared witless that I would lose you. Again. Clothes were the last thing on my mind.”
  48. >”For once.” Twilight quips, a bit peeved she didn’t have time to study you closer.
  49. >Rarity glares at her and she giggles a little.
  50. “Alright, well what’s the plan, then?”
  51. >”Well, I guess we’ll go and gather up our friends and head to Canterlot. I hope they didn’t have something important planned.”
  52. >”Oh my Canterlot! I am not nearly dolled up enough to even CONSIDER stepping foot there. I simply MUST get home.”
  53. “Uh…okay. And I should probably grab some clothes too.”
  54. >Rarity nods slowly. “That would be best, I think.”
  55. >”Alright well let’s all meet back here in a half hour. I’ll go see what the others are doing. It looks like we’re in for another adventure.”
  56. >You sigh.
  57. “Don’t you ever…you know…want to stop adventuring?”
  58. >They both look at you like you just stepped on their birthday cake.
  59. “…forget I asked.”
  60. >They weren’t the ones that had been somehow transported to an entirely different universe, were raped, fell in love, and had died a total of three deaths all in a month’s time.
  61. >You follow Rarity out, seeing Spike on your way out. He’s still glaring at you as he munches on a sandwich.
  62. >Oh get over it Spike. You’re like…two.
  63. >As the two of you walk towards the boutique, you notice Rarity looking up at you every now and then.
  64. “Rarity, you can ask me anything, you know.”
  65. >You peer downwards, her sapphire eyes hinted with a deep sadness.
  66. >”Anonymous…um…how did you pass?”
  67. >The topic was still rather sore with you.
  68. >While you were technically alive, the philosophical term dead rang a little harder than the physical term.
  69. >You’d ended your journey as a human, and were living on borrowed energy.
  70. >Literally, if you didn’t have Purplesmart…you’d be…
  71. >”It was an accident. I don’t…I don’t recall much of it.”
  72. >That was a lie. Your car ran straight into a tree, and you assume you were killed instantly. Your car was a piece of shit, without airbags and long past due for a trade-in.
  73. >It was your fault, too. You were too busy fiddling with your phone to notice a deer in the road. You swerved at the last minute and…that was it.
  74. >”I…I’m sorry Anonymous. I know this all must be hard for you to take in.”
  75. “Rarity…I…thank you. I’ll be okay. I have you, after all. What’s the worst thing that could happen, now that I’m already dead?”
  76. >She laughs a little, but the joke was pretty grim.
  77. >Shit son, get it together.
  78. >”And you’ll always have me, Anonymous. Even though you can be sort of a brute at times. And you forget to wash. And you’ve probably lost your job. And don’t forget that you technically still owe me dues for letting you stay with me and Sweetie Belle.”
  79. >Is this mare serious.
  80. >You look at her, and she’s grinning evilly.
  81. >”What? Can’t a lady have a little fun? Don’t worry so much Anonymous.”
  82. >You exhale slowly.
  83. “I’ll stop worrying when all this is over.”
  84. >”All what?”
  85. “You know. The rape, murder, death. All of these…magic shenanigans. I just want to be able to live again. And…live it with someone who actually cares about me, for once.”
  86. >She blushes and nuzzles her head against your leg.
  87. >”I’m sure I can prove to be a most gracious host, Anonymous.”
  88. >The two of you reach the boutique in short order. Sweetie Belle answers the door with a mile-wide grin.
  89. >”Anon! You’re unfainted!”
  90. >…really Rarity?
  91. >She hugs your leg and you rub her head lightly.
  92. >Hey, she’s really soft.
  93. >STOP IT
  94. >Sorry man, just stating the facts.
  95. “You bet I am, Sweetie. What are ya up to?”
  96. >”I was coloring, waiting for you guys to come home. Spike seems to really like Twilight. She’s all he talks about.”
  97. >And here you were thinking it’d be Rarity. Maybe that’s all a front?
  98. >Oh shit that’s actually clever. Pretend to like the one that is unwinnable, so the one you’re closest to will get jealous or something.
  99. >”Lovely, Sweetie. I’ll make us some lunch. We need to get Anon washed up. We have a meeting with the Princess today.”
  100. >”OHMYGAWD! I’ve always wanted to meet the Princess! Can I come?”
  101. “No, sorry Sweetie. But maybe I’ll bring you back a souvenir?”
  102. >Her ears droop sadly.
  103. >”I never get to do anything fun…”
  104. >Rarity tugs at your sheet and you follow her into…her room?
  105. “Wait, Rarity, my clothes are upstairs.”
  106. >”I know that Anon, but you need to shower first. Perhaps Twilight didn’t notice but…you smell an awful lot like me.”
  107. >Her white face goes rosy with embarrassment.
  108. >You follow suit.
  109. “Well, in my defense, I tend to rather enjoy your smell.”
  110. >She looks at you oddly, a little shocked by your statement.
  111. >”I beg your pardon?”
  112. “What do you want me to say, Rarity? That if you presented yourself to me right now that I’d lick you until my tongue went numb?”
  113. >She slaps you with a hoof.
  114. >”Anonymous! I’d expect something like that from a ruffian like that Soarin that Rainbow Dash pays so much attention to. Not someone whom I share a bed. You had best clean up your act if we’re to be an item.”
  115. >What just happened.
  116. >You rub your cheek. Damnit that stung.
  117. “I wasn’t aware I was supposed to follow a code of conduct, Rarity. What the hell did you slap me for?”
  118. >She looks away.
  119. >”I…you reminded me of someone…I…I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to hurt you Anon. I’m just…maybe I’m still a little emotional.”
  120. >You heave a heavy sigh. Damnit this mare was a lot of work. You could probably hook up with Pinkie Pie as easy as…pie.
  121. >Shit that was terrible, brain.
  122. “Rarity it’s fine. We’ll work through all of this together, alright? Just…try not to slap me any more.”
  123. >She nods, and you rub her behind the ears gently.
  124. >”I’ll…I’ll make it up to you, Anon…”
  125. >She looks at you, lowering her eyelids seductively.
  126. >”Uh, Rarity, as much as I love…as much as I love you, I don’t think I want to die right now.”
  127. >She rolls her eyes.
  128. >”Meaning I’ll wash your back for you, Anonymous. By Celestia you are dense.”
  129. >You close your eyes hard, taking a deep breath.
  130. “Right, sorry. I’m still kind of shaken, ya know?”
  131. >Hey, big guy.
  132. >Yeah penis?
  133. >I just want to inform you that I’m going to make this shower a living hell for you, okay?
  134. >I really don’t think I can argue with you, penis.
  135. >Just a heads up.
  136. >You delicately throw off the blanket and step into the bathroom.
  137. >Good lord its huge. How in the world does this fit in the boutique?
  138. >In the bathroom sits a shower that seems big enough to fit at least four ponies in it, a hottub/Jacuzzi hybrid, two toilets, two sinks with two separate mirrors, a makeup stand and…of course they’re all bedecked with Rarity’s cutie mark.
  139. >Fuck you loved those three little diamonds.
  140. “Rarity, I think your bathroom is even bigger than my room upstairs.”
  141. >”Of course it is, darling. You’re in the guest room, remember?”
  142. >You have to stop forgetting she’s the fashion pony.
  143. >How the hell are you two in love, anyway?
  144. >You know fuck all about fashion.
  145. >”Anonymous, aren’t you coming in?”
  146. >She saunters into the shower. It’s one of those showers with the opaque glass doors, apparently.
  147. >She starts the water, her horn glowing briefly.
  148. >She wags her tail at you, and you catch the briefest glimpse of her wild squiggles suddenly evaporating into long purple locks.
  149. >You do not saunter.
  150. >You do not casually walk into that shower.
  151. >Oh no.
  152. >You charge into that shower and damn near fall on your ass.
  153. >You shut the glass door and in front of you stands this glorious example of a…
  154. >She ain’t a woman, brain, I get that. Why is that hard for you to deal with still?
  155. >Dude, I’m not wired to like animals. Or whatever.
  156. >Okay well, the penis seems to disagree.
  157. >As you enter the shower, you unintentionally poke her in the side with your prick.
  158. >She doesn’t seem to notice.
  159. >You don’t even try to get any water on you, you just watch her from the entrance.
  160. >The water cascades down her pristine coat, its fine hair glistening as rivulets of water slide down it. Her long violet mane nearly reaches the floor, the water turning it a dark royal purple. The eyeliner that she usually wears washes away, and before you stands the most prime example of beauty that you’ve seen in your entire life.
  161. >She runs a small comb through her hair idly with her magic, seeming to clean any tangles you might have more than likely caused with your escapades earlier.
  162. >She opens one eye to you, and smiles.
  163. >”Come here, Anon, I don’t bite.”
  164. >You shyly walk to her side, the water now hitting your body. Fucking perfect temperature too.
  165. >Fucking magic.
  166. >She moves to the side a little so you can get some water on your head. The shower itself seemed to be built for someone much taller than Rarity. You guess it’s because it’s adjustable.
  167. >To be frank, you’re way too embarrassed at this whole situation.
  168. >You’ve never showered with someone else.
  169. >Never. Well, unless you count childhood baths.
  170. >The water pelts your greasy hair and you shakily move your hands upward, massaging it into your hair.
  171. >”Anonymous, I have to ask you something…”
  172. >Oh shit, what now.
  173. >”…what do you think of me?”
  174. >…
  175. >Not what you were expecting at all.
  176. >You turn and see she’s still tugging knots out of her hair with a brush.
  177. ”W..what do you mean? Like, my opinion on you? I’m afraid I…I don’t understand.”
  178. >”Anonymous I am not asking you a hard question. What do you think of me? You’ve said that you love me, and I, of course, have replied in kind. But I’ve not actually heard much from you aside from that. I do say that we make an interesting couple, to say the least.”
  179. >She puts her little brush down and walks up to you. You instinctively back up a little.
  180. >”Anon…what’s wrong?”
  181. “I’m kind of embarrassed…I’ve never showered with someone before but…I leapt in here because you were so beautiful and…”
  182. >”Please…Anonymous. I know this whole game of charades has taken it’s toll on you. You need to relax. If anything you should be excited. The Princess will be able to right any wrongs that may plague you and we can go on as normal.”
  183. >She kisses your stomach wetly, and it makes you smile.
  184. “It’s…it’s just a lot to take in Rar. I’m still getting used to this world and it seems like every step forward I take to finally starting over…I take a couple hundred back.”
  185. >”Well, I’m still here, aren’t I? You know I could have kicked you out at any time, and I never had to let you stay here. I simply offered up my goodwill.”
  186. >You shift slightly, the conversation a little awkward.
  187. >”Turn around, Anon, maybe I can help relax you.”
  188. >You comply. You figure this has to get better at some point. This was more like a therapy shower than anything else.
  189. >Suddenly you feel her hooves on your shoulders. Wait, those aren’t hooves.
  190. >Those are hands.
  191. >They knead into your tense muscles, the foreign appendages poking at your shoulder’s stress.
  192. >You let out a little gasp as your body arches forward.
  193. ”Rarity…how are you doing that…” you say, groaning a little as she finds a particularly nasty knot under your shoulderblade.
  194. >”Hush, Darling. Just let me do this for you, at the very least.”
  195. >You make a little grunt. That’s probably good enough for a reply right?
  196. >You know, you’ve never been massaged before. They usually get happy endings.
  197. >Shut up penis, this isn’t the time at all.
  198. >”So…Anonymous…you haven’t answered me.”
  199. “What I think about you?”
  200. >She has moved down to your lower back, her thin fingers (?) deftly poking and prodding in all of the right places.
  201. >You acknowledge her efforts with grunts and the stifled moan here and there.
  202. >Your penis was enjoying this too, and you feel blood rushing to it.
  203. >”Yes. You honestly surprised me, the night you said you loved me. I had actually assumed by then that you liked Fluttershy more.”
  204. “You were also drunk, Rarity.”
  205. >”I may have been. That is not the point, Anonymous.”
  206. “Well, you already know I was a loner back on Earth. I didn’t have anyone to care for and pretty much kept to myself. No girls would ever want anything to do with me.”
  207. >She has begun to massage your buttocks and you are having a hard time keeping a straight face as she ran her fingers into your gluteus’ seldom used muscles.
  208. “Uh…and well when I uh…died or whatever I was planted into this world…
  209. >Well, you were stuck in a hole. Funny how your brain makes these puns on the fly like that.
  210. >You’re welcome.
  211. “…and you were the first thing I saw. And uh, I’ll be honest, I was not attracted to hors-ponies then and it wasn’t until our little massage session that I finally gave in.”
  212. “And…well I don’t know how to say it. You’re…stunning. You’re the only reason I could ever even think about being attracted to a pony. Your hair, your eyes…everything about you just screams at me like an opera. Every bit of your body exciting me in various ways.”
  213. >”Anonymous, that’s not what I meant.”
  214. “Oh, you mean more like why do I love you?”
  215. >”Mhm.”
  216. “Well, I don’t know. You’re the only girl I’ve ever even been able to hold a conversation with. I guess I love you because I can’t stop thinking about you? I’m really not sure how this all works Rarity.”
  217. >”That’s more than fine, Anonymous. I was just curious.”
  218. >Her hands (??) have moved down to your thighs and you really can’t handle this any more.
  219. >You turn around suddenly and see…
  220. >A human?
  221. >Or well, kind of.
  222. “R…Rarity?”
  223. >She stands up, smiling.
  224. >Her pale skin glistens against the water. She stands at your height, probably exactly so. She puts her hands at her curvaceous hips. They lead into long, slender legs. If we were on earth, she would be superhumanly beautiful.
  225. >”What’s wrong Anon, getting homesick?”
  226. >Wow what. She laced that with a bit of acid.
  227. ”…you’re missing something.”
  228. >”What do you mean, I’m missing something. I followed Twilight’s book perfectly.”
  229. >She flips her hair, frustrated at you for some reason.
  230. >”Uh…breasts.”
  231. >Sure enough, her chest is bare, missing even teats of any kind.
  232. >”What are…breasts?”
  233. >You smile, trying not to laugh.
  234. >You cup your own mantits and jiggle them slightly.
  235. >”You know, these? I guess I somehow forgot to say that to Twilight.”
  236. >You’d never actually seen a girl naked before. Only pictures.
  237. >Human Rarity shimmers a little, and grows man-tits.
  238. >This has to stop.
  239. ”Rarity…could you knock it off?”
  240. >”What do you mean, Anonymous. You already told me you didn’t like ponies before I showed up.”
  241. >She looks down at your penis and…
  242. >”…oh.”
  243. >You’re soft.
  244. “Rarity, I like you as a pony. I…I like ponies. You broke me. It was…surprisingly easy. Just, please stop all this.”
  245. >The image of human Rarity shimmers, and fades. Rarity is there, looking up at you confused.
  246. >”You won’t tell me why you love me…”
  247. >She hangs her head a little.
  248. “Why can’t you just accept that I love you, Rarity? Why does it have to get any more complicated than that?”
  249. >Your voice raises to a shout.
  250. “Why does everything have to be so damn complex? Why can’t I just live my life for once. For one goddamn time…I just…I just want to spend my life with someone who cares about me as much as I care about them.”
  251. >Your tears are lost in the shower. You ball your fists in anger.
  252. “Rarity…I’ve already gone through so much. Can’t this one thing be easy for me? Can’t I just count on you to be there for me?”
  253. >She rushes you, hugging your waist and burying her face in your belly.
  254. >”Anonymous…don’t get mad I’m…this is just…I’m sorry.”
  255. >Silence fills the shower as the two of you hold each other.
  256. >You look down at her, locking eyes with those azure orbs that hide such a tender soul.
  257. ”I love you Rarity. Now and forever. Stop questioning it. I’m not going anywhere.”
  258. >You can feel her sobbing into you, and you run your fingers through her mane.
  259. >”Anonymous…you dumb brute…”
  260. >You chuckle slightly.
  261. ”I’m your dumb brute, you prissy little..er..filly.”
  262. >She looks up at you, indignant. You may have hit a chord.
  263. >So you bend down and kiss her quickly, just a quick peck on the lips.
  264. >She steps back a little at the suddenness.
  265. “So, how about that back rub?”
  266. >The two of you actually take turns scrubbing each other. Rarity had to tell you several times to stop rubbing so hard. Of course she was delicate. You had no such complaints. You’re surprised you didn’t spill yourself all over the floor as she scrubbed the middle of your back.
  267. >Where you were rough and untrained, she was soft and gentle, the little scrubber doing more than enough to get you as clean as Rarity wanted you to be.
  268. >The two of you exit the shower, Rarity floating one of her towels over to you.
  269. >Of course it’s much too small, but you try and make due.
  270. >”Anon, I’m going to need some time to beautify myself. Though you probably think it unneeded,” she says scowling at you slightly.
  271. >” I must look my best in front of the Princess. I simply must.”
  272. >You shake your head, rubbing your hair dry with the small towel.
  273. “Well, I’ll head over to Twilights’, see if she needs help or something. I’ll see you then?”
  274. >”Of course.”
  275. >With a smile, you wrap the towel around your waist and close the bathroom door.
  276. >You actually expected Sweetie Belle to be there again, but she was not.
  277. >You mutter a little prayer.
  278. >You really liked that cute little filly but she was starting to get clingy as hell.
  279. >You walk upstairs and don a simple white dress shirt, with some black slacks. You make an attempt to un-dishevel your hair, and it comes out okay. At least, in your opinion.
  280. >What was your plan, though. Twilight is probably almost already done. That was a long shower.
  281. >…you get an idea.
  282. >You’re going to go see Fluttershy, hopefully before Twilight gets there.
  283. >She deserves to know what’s going on, at least with the parts pertaining to her.
  284. >You figure that it’s only polite to tell your murderer that you planned on ousting her in front of the goddess-ruler of all of the land.
  285. >The magic death nonsense could wait until you got to the Palace. Surely Celestia could shine some light on the matter.
  286. That’s a terrible pun, self.
  287. >You step out of the boutique and a cool breeze meets you. It is nearly midday, and you have a strange feeling that your day is far from over.
