  1. I think there are just too many possible variables can give you such a massive advantage on UE that it just wouldn't be great for the tourney play you're looking for. I think the ladder drop at the start has turned from an quick little PvP choke point into a coin flip between being no challenge whatsoever or being an incredibly overpowered chokepoint that gives you a massive advantage for the rest of the map. And just because i want to back that up with experiences rather than opinions, CG scrimmed BP on it to help them out for the first round. Our ladder drop was completed without any trouble, didn't get shot, didn't die, landed with good health, and the rest of the team was able to get down fairly easily. once we all got down, all we had to do was stick parkway right after the wall and stick soccer at the mountain, and BP ended up having no presence in the second half of the map at all. If you lose the 3 bows up there, you're completely fucked. Even if they were able to get down, we had such a strong presence at 2nd and 3rd, they would've had no shot of coming back.

Yeah yeah, you can say "just don't be bad", "just don't be a retard and lose all the bows", "don't be stupid enough to get locked down at spawn", shit like that, but in reality, it's incredibly easy for that to happen on UE in comparison to other maps. And seriously, both of the scrims BP and CG did on UE were fucking jokes, while the actual match on Erosion was one of the best matches of RMCT5

  5. Which brings me to my next point about UE, which is third. Quite honestly, I think the vault nerf saved the map. If you had control of third, you were able to: blow up the tier 2 bows, lock down the way up to the wool and delay them from running it, get really nice progress on the wool, and make it to the vault without much contention. now, i still don't consider third wool itself to be that great of a lockdown, but before the vault nerf, having control of third meant so much more than just being able to lock it down. I think that without a vault nerf, the map wouldn't be good for tourney play at all. As it currently stands, it's passable for a first round map, but doesn't really have much use elsewhere. It just doesn't really fit in with Erosion or AK or TV or AR or really a lot of the maps that have been suggested so far
