1. Skill Tree Simulator: http://arks-layer.com/skillsim/skillcalc.php (note: this website refers to ability as aptitude for whatever reason)
2.
3. Rather than giving specific skill trees, this space will be used to explain whats good and whats bad in each class' tree. You do not have to use every skill listed here. You can pick and choose based on what sounds good or bad. The skills listed here are merely the ones that will give you the most bang for your buck.
4. [*]Just something to keep in mind as you read this, PSO2 rewards cranking up your damage. Passive damage skills and Stance skills are the two most valuable types of skills in the game. Survivability skills have their uses but designing a build around the idea of tanking is not advised. Aggro is played fast and loose and is determined by damage output.
5. [*]Critical skills are generally not worth getting. Crits in PSO2 aren't stronger than your regular attacks, but rather deal the max damage of your damage variance range. Only specific Fighter builds utilize Critical skills.
6. [*]Additionally, each skill tree has a Rare Mastery skill. Never put more than 1 point into these skills as they only give +50 atk at level 10. The +30 attack given at level 1 is worth it however.
7. [*]Stance skills last for 30 minutes and can be immediatly reapplyed when they run out.
8. [*]Weapon Gear skills like Sword Gear are worth getting if you intend on using that weapon. As the gear gauge accumulates the damage, range, number of hits, etc. of PAs increase.
9. [*]Higher tier Attack Up skills are worth capping before lower tier ones. IE: Cap Striking Up 3 before Up 2.
10.
11. If you want more specific trees, feel free to ask for one in the thread.
12.
13.
14. Hunter: Generally, some of the most versatile skills in the game. Hunter is easily one of the best subclasses in the game.
15. [*]Fury Stance, JA Bonus 1&2, Fury Combo Up, Fury S Up 1&2: These are THE skills to max. Fury Stance will boost your damage output by a significant amount, well worth the slight drop to your defense.
16. [*]Partisan Gear: Partisan is an especially strong weapon and can be worth getting even if you're not using Hu-main. It has a few especially strong PAs that are useful to any class.
17. [*]Iron Will: Self explanatory. Useful in a pinch. A good skill.
18. [*]Automate Halfline: Self explanatory.
19.
20. Fighter: Skills wholly devoted to maximizing your damage. Fighter's tree is the one that makes critical skills a viable option. Generally, people prefer and only get Brave Stance over Wise Stance. Brave stance tends to work better with how Fi plays. Doing so frees up a lot of points to be spent elsewhere. Maximizing damage as Fi involves using a build centered on Critical skills and Limit Break.
21. [*]Brave Stance, Brave S Up 1, Brave Critical: The go-to stance skill. Only invest in Brave Critical if you intend on using the critical build.
22. [*]Tech Arts JA Bonus: Increases your damage when you follow up a PA with a different PA. Great if you like PA combos. Amazing if coupled with Partisan's volgraptor PA.
23. [*]Critical Strike: This is the skill that make Critical hits stronger. Well worth getting. If you've invested in Fighter and Hunter's critical skills your critical rate will effectively be 100%, meaning every hit you do is doing bonus damage.
24. [*]Limit Break, Crazy Heart, Crazy Beat, Deadline Slayer, Halfline Slayer: This is where the fun starts. High Risk, High Reward. Limit Break boosts your damage by 20% by lowering your max HP. This triggers both Deadline Slayer and Halfline slayer! BUT THATS NOT ALL; Limit Break qualifies as a status ailment so it also triggers both Crazy Heart and Crazy Beat. You can stack PP Slayer on this to further increase your burst damage.
25.
26. Ranger: Variety of skills that increase damage and provide support. You'll want to be hitting weakpoints or as much as possible as a Ra. Most enemies also have (not lock-on-able) weakpoints at their heads.
27. [*]Weak Bullet: GET THIS SKILL. No questions. It helps you and everyone around you. Triples damage to the spot weak bullet is applied.
28. [*]Weak Hit Advance 1&2, Standing Snipe 1&2, Moving Snipe, Sharp Shooter, First Hit: All skills that increase your damage. All worth investing in.
29. [*]Bullet Keep, Power Bullet, Massive Bullet: Useful boosts to yourself when using weak bullet.
30. [*]Killing Bonus: Helpful for regenerating PP. Works better than may initially seem.
31. [*]Gravity Bomb: Most useful trap. Handy for when Forces aren't around to Zondeel things.
32.
33. Gunner: High burst damage class. Current claim to fame is its Chain skills which cause massive damage.
34. [*]Chain Trigger, Chain Finish, Twice Chain: The bossing skills. Massive damage increases as chain count accumulates. These skills are what Gu is used as a subclass for.
35. [*]Zero Range Advance 1&2, Perfect Keeper, Aerial Advance, Attack PP Restorate, S-roll JA Bonus: The important damage skills for Gunner main.
36.
37. Force: This is the class that benefits the most from purchasing additional skill trees. There are 3 elements. You can only max 1 element on the skill tree without sacrificing the passive skills. Despite this, most people with 1 Force tree choose a the Fire tree as the Fire techs are very powerful and Flame Tech S Charge lets you pump out more spells faster. Eitherway, you will still be able to do good damage with the elements that you didn't spec into.
38. [*]Charge PP revival: The most important Fo Skill
39. [*]Element Conversion: The second most important Fo Skill
40. [*]Fire/Ice/Bolt Mastery 1&2: Pick an element and max both. The associated element's status ailment boost skill isn't really worth investing into.
41. [*]Flame Tech S Charge: Drastically reduces casting time for Fire techs.
42. [*]Tech Charge Advance 1&2, Technique High Up, Tech JA Advance: The damage increasing skills.
43.
44. Techer: Primarily focused on support skills and skills that boost Wand.
45. [*]Shifta/Deband Advance, Shifta Strike, Deband Cut, Deband Toughness, Long Time Assist, Super Treatment, Territory Burst, Territory PP Save, Reverse Boost: The best support skills, all worth investing into.
46. [*]PP Restorate, PP Convert, Element Weak Hit: The skills that will help you out.
47. [*]Wand Gear, Wand Lovers, Wand Reactor: If you like whacking things with your wand, get these skills
48. [*]Wind/Light/Dark Mastery 1&2: Get whichever you prefer. Most people like Light or Dark. Get Wind If you're the kind of person who likes supporting people with Zanverse.
49.
50. Braver: Skills focused increasing damage and boosting damage with Bows. Average Stance tends to be more useful for katana mains and general play, weak stance is mostly for Bow mains. Weak Stance and Weak Stance Charge ALSO WORK ON TECHS. This is why Fo/Br is a thing.
51. [*]Average/Weak Stance, Average/Weak S Up, Average/Weak S Charge: Average is a safe choice for any situation. Weak Stance tends to be more situational unless you're a Force.
52. [*]Katana combat, Combat JA Bonus, Combat Finish, Combat Escape: Katana's exclusive skills, fantastic for mobbing.
53. [*]Snatch JA Combo: Lets you Just attack faster. Speeds up the flow of combat for any weapon significantly.
54. [*]Rapid Shoot, Rapid Shoot Mastery, Rapid Shoot Up 1&2: Bow's burst damage skill. The base skill and Mastery increase all types of damage done during the duration.
55.
56. Bouncer: Support oriented damage skills. Tree is divided between Jetboot skills and Dual Blade skills.
57. [*]Elemental Stance, Elemental Stance Up 1: The better of the two stances. Applicable in more scenarios.
58. [*]Elemental PP Restorate Field, Critical Field, Field Remain: Skills to support others.
59. [*]Dual Blade Gear, Photon Blade Fever, Photon Blade Fever Up 1: The dual blades single target dps skill. With a full gear gauge, attack in this pattern; shift action (shoot blades) -> normal attack -> repeat. You'll be machine gunning photon blades. Additionally, if you do this in the air you'll prevent yourself from moving forward as you attack.
60.
61. Summoner: Focused solely on boosting pet damage. Has a few skills that boost player damage. Just use this http://arks-layer.com/skillsim/skillcalc.php?11fbxIobxIobxIobxIobxIobxIobxIobxIobxIo0jdodBIb000000000doIn0000000jdoib0000000fdo0000000Io00000000ioIn00000000IbIo0000000jdoIb0000000loIbIbHSrAqs4ObsHNik0000j
