What I'm Doing With My Life:
Non-profit Development (the fancy way of saying fundraising. Yes, I'm responsible for all those letters and emails you get because of that one time you donated to ASPCA.

In between, I'm trying to work out if my balcony gets enough direct sunlight for a garden and gradually going further afield in the park behind my apartment to explore.

Trying to find my taste in boardgames and craft brews, too.

I'm Good At:
-Trivia (looking for a squad with which to conquer the world of bar trivia).
-Going new places without GPS assistance (though the DC clover-leafs are starting to make me question this!)
-Writing: academic, persuasive, creative.
-Finding the humor in things.

Favorite Stuff:
All over the map.

Authors: Tolkien, Steinbeck, Pratchett.
Movies: Star Wars, Coen Bros (Oh Brother Where Art Thou, Lebowski, etc), Back to the Future.
Shows: Star Trek, Silicon Valley, and Breaking Bad live, The Simpsons, Venture Bros, and Steven Universe animated.
Music: Rock from the 60s to the 90s (Rolling Stones, Dire Straits, Van Halen, Soundgarden).
Video games: Zelda, Smash Bros, Monster Hunter.
Food: Italian, Japanese, Chinese. A chocoholic.

Six Things You can't do without:
1) An unfinished (or never-started) story waiting to be written.

I Spend A Lot of Time Thinking About:
International affairs, domestic politics, history, economics, my writing, or whatever video game i'm working on at the time. My mind switches tracks quickly and I always like to learn new stuff, so that I can later spend time thinking about it.
Lately I've been on a board-game-meetup kick, but I also like trivia, museums, movies, and comedy. The occasional "binge video games and TV" weekend is also appreciated, generally when i've run out of money from doing the other stuff.
