  1. I've an L1 for about 10 months, mainly helping out at The Island Games and Curio Cavern. In January of this year, I did my first competitive REL event, a modern IQ. What was supposed to be a 12 person event for me to get my feet wet turned into a 50+ person 2 judge event!

  3. After that, I dove into more IQs and PPTQs, and have had another 4 comp REL events, with a 5th planned. I should be done with the requirements (I think just one more judge review) for L2 by the time of the conference, and am interested in testing.

  5. This conference is an opportunity for me to meet more of the judges in this area, network, and most of all learn more about what makes a judge great as I go for my L2. Specifically, I'd like to learn more about tournament operations with multiple judges - I've only done 1-2 person events, and want to learn more so I can be useful at my first GP or Open. I'd also like to write a conference report, since I only have my first event's report currently.
