At the moment you guys are still adrift upon your ship - heading where ever it is you had plans for - so let's hear a brief recap of your immediate goals, far as who to talk to or reach out to!

Sunlight does make it down here, but it's reflected by the surface in such a way that it's not very illuminating. As for what's around you, it's noisy as hell. The Temple, with its high, circular walls, village of stone houses, and tall ziggurat and shrine, are bustling with activity.
