  3. China, and later DPRK, Mongolia and North Vietnam join the Warsaw Pact.

  5. The Warsaw Pact is controlled by the two communist superpowers.
  6.  
  7. Soviet Sphere of Influence: East Germany, Poland, Hungary, Czechoslovakia, Romania and Bulgaria.
  8.  
  9. Chinese Sphere of Influence: Mongolia, DPRK and North Vietnam.
  10.  
  11. The two economies are huge! In 1971, the technology is the equivalent of the United State's (in OTL) in 2071!

  13. They go to Mars in 1976.
  14.  
  15. The EU is collapsing. They combine in a single state.
  16.  
  17. But communists take over less than a year later!
  18.  
  19. Americans start to revolt against capitalism! Counties start to vote to leave the USA, and to form the USSA!

  21. In 1989, after the Washington-Moscow-Beijing Treaty, the world unites into the Socialist World Republic!

  23. The world is divided in 100 states, so yes, the Olympics can still happen ;)
