Hello Chris,

I thought I would write to you as it looks like you show interest in supporting indie games! I thought I would email you on the news about the Pre-Alpha trailer for the game we're developing called Blackwake. Blackwake is a multiplayer team-based shooter centered around naval battles. Set during the Eighteenth century, the game focuses largely on team strategy and overall cooperation. Organizing a ship broadside, assisting your captain in navigating various weather conditions, or slaying sea monsters with an armada of other players, are only some of the things you can do in Blackwake.

Your objectives can vary as there are both realistic and fictional game modes. Victory relies on the abilities of both the captain and crew. The Age of sail is chaotic as factions fight for dominance, including the English, French, Spanish, Dutch and pirate fleets. Whether the options are to capture the merchant vessel and set the entire crew on fire, sink the ship from a distance with a powerful broadside, or simply sit down for some tea and crumpets with the enemy, that is entirely up to the players.
