position. But I can tell you some stories about CR and the project... I will

Programmers complain about too less time, designers are doing fine, but
dogfight in december is almost impossibile, if they don't go into full crunch
in November

basically, very similar to FPS, after all, Cryengine is mostly for fps, but
the problem is, you have to remember that engine is much more than graphic, we
are doing fine, but the dogfight... cryengine is not for flight simulations,
so you have to implement the whole physics new. it's not like "running but
just fast", so the preformence issues will get MUCH worse

people for cheap, contract was, DONT speak at all about the game, remember
law's for work are different in every country, even US sucks compared to

So, I said it's not impossible, BUT, you have the Cryengine running, and also
your own stuff, it's quite technical, imagine, like running two program, so
the issue is performance
CR is saying, that when SC will be out, computers will be strong enough, which
probably will be true, but you guys will have to update to the latest tech of
[insert year SC will came out]

Okay, Dogfight in december is not gonna happend, no way, CR don't want the
shitty dogfight you can already get with the hacks, but some polished stuff
Also I am not at CIG, they don't tell us everything, obviously, but I talked
with some people and some stuff is obvious
I don't know even about if is gonna be P2W or not, but something is strange,
like plans changes, e.g. once the ship variants should be basically the same,
only with different stuff, so you could go form one to other, but now they
have different number of trusters and hardpoints, so you have to buy multiple
variants of ships, you know, before it was, just a set-up for fight,
transporter, etc. you have for one ship, no, mostly not possible

make a real flight simulation for a plane, it's simular because of the
maneuver truster stuff, remember they got computer on-line

I am back with some more backgrond news, discussion what to give golden ticket
holders, discount (up to 10%) or some unique scanner to help them in
exploration of new systems. It won't be p2w, but more like pay 2 have fun,
e.g. better view for freelancer will be an update. Eric hates the fans, Ben is
kind of scary, he shows no normal human reactions. as said in my last p[ost,
performance will get worse and worse, because of the implementation of space
flight physics running in background, problem is, the kind of fly-by-wire CR
wants is extremely vulnerable for cheating, as long the computations are
preformed on the client side, server side would be to expensive to run.
Solutions, like encrypted computations on client side would be too slow, even
for top machines in 2015. Money is short if you count the overhead in, maybe
for 6-12 months with current spending, something like 5 mil is already spend,
some contractors will be paid on delivery some monthly, some angel investors
are in now, but silent, with maybe a few million.
