The vast cold northern plains on which Errai sits are as desolate and lonely as you'd expect, at first glance. Even now in April, you feel a slight chill as you walk out here in the late morning. The terrain is difficult; you see no onix, but their lairs create deep burrows among the twisting rocky soil.  It's as you cross one of these that you finaly spot some life;  a Linoone, gathering food for its young.   Once you're further away from the city, see Taillow and Swellow in abudance, surveying the grasslands in search of prey.  A single Bouffalant grazes quietly nearby.  In the winter, giant herds of bouffalant endure the winter here, but most of the them are  enjoying the greener pastures to the east time this time of year.  Only this young male has remained behind.
