  1. "Okay, so maybe if he were beaten into submission, then he would be afraid to leave his relationship with Trixie."
  2. >You think back to what he said a few days.
  3. >He told you that he stuck with Trixie because he wanted to lay low until he had the courage to see you again.
  4. >Also, they seem to be very friendly with each other.
  5. "That can't be right."
  6. >You cross out your theory of abuse and move to the next one.
  7. "She could have used some kind of spell on him that tricked him into loving her... But considering her actual abilities with magic, that's probably not true."
  8. >"Twilight, what are you doing?"
  9. >Your heart nearly jumps up into your mouth and you turn around quickly to see Spike standing there rubbing his eyes.
  10. "Spike! What are you doing up? It's the middle of the night!"
  11. >"I don't know, I just couldn't really sleep. Need any help with..."
  12. >He looks past you and to the wall of notes you have about Anon and Trixie's relationship.
  13. >"Whatever that is?"
  14. >Quickly moving the papers off the wall to a neat stack on the table, you shake your head.
  15. "Thank you for the offer Spike, but I think I have everything under control."
  16. >He hangs his head.
  17. >"Oh... Well, I guess I'll just go upstairs and read something until I fall asleep."
  18. >He turns and goes back up the stairs, stopping at the top to turn around.
  19. >"If you need something, just call."
  20. >He exits and shuts the door after himself.
  21. >You use your magic to slide the bolt across the lock to the door.
  22. >If he had the chance to read any of that, you might have been found out.
  23. >Climbing up onto the chair, you let out a sigh.
  24. "I have to be more careful. Back to it then..."
  25. >Love magic.
  26. >Although it's highly unlikely for Trixie to be able to perform such a spell, you should most likely look into that.
  27. >Writing a note for yourself to find a book on love spells, you continue down the list.
  28. "Stockholm syndrome?"
  29. >That might work.
  30. >Anon seemed to just disappear, he could have been kidnapped after he left.
  31. >But then again, it makes sense that you wouldn't see him after the banishing.
  32. >You filed the rape report in anger that he just used you and walked out.
  33. >Princess Celestia immediately took action and banished him from Ponyville.
  34. >She's never said specifically why she chose to not disclose that information, but you assume it's because she wanted to protect him.
  35. >And you.
  36. >If she were to say that Anon had raped you, as you wrongly depicted, then he would have most likely been harmed or even killed by your friends.
  37. >You bury your face in your hooves.
  38. >In a sense, whatever happened to Anon is your fault.
  39. >Not his emotions, but whatever happened after that moment.
  40. >He would have never been banished had you not sent that letter.
  41. >And he wouldn't be with Trixie right now, telling you his real feelings for you when he comes over.
  42. >There has to be a way you can return things to the way they were before...
  43. >You begin jotting down a few ideas.
  44.
  45.
  46. >You lay on the couch at home cuddling with Trixie.
  47. >All of the bits she earned from a gem she was gifted by a generous stallion at one of her shows went toward the house and food for the both of you.
  48. >Which is great, but it would still be nice to have some for spending purposes.
  49. >You twirl a finger in her mane, brushing it up against her ear to make it twitch.
  50. "Hey Trix."
  51. >"Yes Anon?"
  52. "I have a question."
  53. >She turns around so that her nose is centimeters from yours.
  54. >When you exhale, she inhales.
  55. >"What's that?"
  56. "It's about your shows. I feel like you aren't getting very much for doing them."
  57. >She rolls her eyes and gives you a smirk.
  58. >"Well I really only strive off tips, so that's to be expected. When that mare gave me the gem last time, I was so happy I almost kissed her."
  59. >Kissing the mare softly, you grab her squishy butt.
  60. "My princess deserves more than tips."
  61. >She smiles and pushes your hand off her rump.
  62. >You drape your arm over her side.
  63. "Have you tried to do shows in bigger towns? Maybe you'd find more ponies that are willing to tip if you did."
  64. >She pushes away from you and climbs off the couch.
  65. >After yawning, she responds to you.
  66. >"I would try, but that would mean that I'd need to pay more to travel there and back."
  67. >You sit up and nod.
  68. "That's true."
  69. >Trixie puts her hoof on your knee while rubbing her eyes.
  70. >"It's pretty late, we should go to bed."
  71. >Give her a light nod and stand up.
  72. >The both of you walk sluggishly up the stairs and into your room where you see the clock resting at one in the morning.
  73. >You take off all except your boxers and climb into bed.
  74. >Trixie climbs in the other side and slides over next to you.
  75. >"Anon..."
  76. >Roll over to face her.
  77. "Yeah?"
  78. >She looks down at your chest instead of your face.
  79. >Her snout scrunches up a little as she speaks.
  80. >"I... I'm not..."
  81. >You bring your hand up and place it on her head, gently stroking her mane.
  82. "You're not what?"
  83. >She looks up at your eyes.
  84. >"I'll tell you tomorrow."
  85. >She quickly pecks you on the cheek and turns over.
  86. >"Goodnight Anon. I love you."
  87. >You respond with a smile.
  88. "Night Trix. Love you too."
  89. >She clicks the lights off.
  90. >Despite it being very late and the comfortably warm bed you're laying in, you can't seem to sleep.
  91. >Something is eating at your mind.
  92. >Before she said it was a stallion that gave her the gem, now she says it was a mare.
  93. >It's probably an honest mistake, but considering how little she brings home...
  94. >It might matter.
  95. >Nudging her lightly, you whisper.
  96. "Trix. You up?"
  97. >Light breathing is the only sound that comes back from her.
  98. >Guess she's asleep already.
  99. "It hasn't even been a minute..."
  100. >Letting out a sigh, you roll over on your back and look up at the ceiling.
  101. >Your mind begins to wander to something you haven't thought about in a very long time.
  102. >Twilight.
  103. >The way she acted when she saw you again was strange.
  104. >At first she was happy, then she seemed angered, then that anger later formed into sadness.
  105. >But when Trixie was there, she had a constant smile.
  106. >That is, until you started to leave.
  107. >Then she looked sad again.
  108. >Maybe she missed having you in town.
  109. >...Well she did have a crush on you.
  110. >She even invited you over that one night.
  111. >You don't exactly remember what happened that night, it was all a drunken blur.
  112. >But you do remember her crying about something, and you were trying to apologize to her.
  113. >Of course, back then you weren't this happy, so it probably didn't seem like apologizing.
  114. >You shake your head and yawn.
  115. >It was probably nothing anyway.
  116. >Just female things you'll never understand.
  117. >You roll over on your side and turn your head to face Trixie's back.
  118. >Wrapping your arms around the warm mare, you pull her to your chest and drift off to sleep.
  119.
  120.
  121. >Something prods at your rear, waking you from your slumber.
  122. >The sun has filled the room you lay in with a bright glow.
  123. >Anon has his arms wrapped around you and jabs your bum with his member once again.
  124. "Someone's a bit excited today."
  125. >You ease your way out of his arms and slide off the bed, arching your back to stretch.
  126. >Anon rolls over on his back and groans a bit as he wakes up.
  127. >He sits up and opens his eyes, scanning the room with a squint as they adjust to the light.
  128. >His eyes spot you and he smiles.
  129. >"Morning."
  130. "Good morning."
  131. >You turn and walk over to the door.
  132. >"Wait Trix."
  133. >Stopping just before you exit the room, you turn around.
  134. >"You said you were going to tell me something. What is it?"
  135. >A chill shoots its way up your spine.
  136. "I um..."
  137. >He raises an eyebrow.
  138. >You can't tell him that you don't do shows, because he'll be angry you lied to him.
  139. >And that letter in the mail...
  140. >Thank goodness he didn't see it.
  141. >He gets off the bed and stands up.
  142. >"What is it?"
  143. >Well you're going to have to tell him something, you can't just stand there like an idiot.
  144. >You've got to think of something that would lead him to believe why you would be gone for so long...
  145. "I got a letter from a friend of mine out in Manehattan."
  146. >He starts getting dressed.
  147. >"Oh?"
  148. >You nod.
  149. "Yeah, she owns a big place there and said that I could perform my shows in. Last night you said I could get bigger pay if I went to a busier place. Well uh... Yeah! This is it."
  150. >He looks at you as he pulls his pants up.
  151. >"Well that's great! When are you leaving?"
  152. >Crap Trixie.
  153. >Why don't you plan ahead?
  154. "Um... Today."
  155. >He pauses and looks at your face to see if you're serious.
  156. >After a few uncomfortable seconds of staring, he pulls his pants all the way up and walks over to you.
  157. >"Well I guess that's not too bad. A little prior warning would have been nice, but I wouldn't have told me either."
  158. >He smiles.
  159. >"So, how long are you going to be there?"
  160. "Three weeks."
  161. >His smile quickly fades.
  162. >"Well jeez..."
  163. >He smirks at you.
  164. >"This isn't some lame excuse for cheating on me, is it?"
  165. >You lightly punch him in the leg.
  166. "No, shut up."
  167. >He rubs where you hit him and sighs.
  168. >"Well, it sure is gonna be boring around here without you."
  169. >You nod.
  170. "I know, and I'm sorry. We need the bits and-"
  171. >He stops you by placing his hand on your head.
  172. >"Trix, it's okay. I can manage things here on my own."
  173. "Are you sure? Because you know you have to go visit Twilight today..."
  174. >"Yeah it's fine, I'll start to leave when I first get a headache."
  175. >You glare at him.
  176. "Don't joke about this. You could be seriously hurt."
  177. >He smiles as he runs his fingers through your mane.
  178. >"Don't worry. I won't do anything you wouldn't want me to."
  179. >The two of you share a gaze for a few seconds.
  180. >"Well, except maybe take a shit with the bathroom door open."
  181. >You push him off you and giggle.
  182. "Don't do that to me... Alright, I'm going to take a shower and then I'm leaving."
  183. >"Mkay."
  184. >He stands and walks out of the room.
  185. >You exhale deeply.
  186. >This lie is going to get way out of hand and you know it.
  187. >But for now, it's the best thing to do.
  188. >Who knows how he would take it if he found out you were being treated almost like a slave at a rock farm for way less than whatever minimum wage in Ponyville is.
  189. "Oh Anon..."
  190.
  191.
  192. "Oh Anon..."
  193. >You hum out his name as you go around the room making sure everything is where it needs to be.
  194. >The plan you've developed to help him has to be perfect.
  195. >You'll make him remember how happy he was with you, and then he'll realize the error in his ways.
  196. >Convincing the princess will definitely pose a threat to the later part of the plan, but that's future Twilight's problem.
  197. >You stop and do a double check to see if future Twilight is about to appear to tell you something is wrong.
  198. >But she doesn't.
  199. >A smile comes across your face as you look at the now cushioned area for Anon to lie down on.
  200. >Your smile fades once you think about how long you'll have to wait though.
  201. >If only you could see him today...
  202. >Your eyes quickly widen as you come up with an idea.
  203. >Closing your eyes, you begin to cast a spell.
  204. >As you cast it, you speak to yourself.
  205. "I'll get to see you today, and then we can talk all about your problems..."
  206. >Heat slowly inches it's way through your cheeks as you imagine him nude.
  207. "And we'll become together once again."
  208.
  209.
  210. >It's been five minutes after her shower and she's already rushing around the house frantically.
  211. >She turns to you after counting the pairs of clean clothes a few times.
  212. >"Okay, how much do we have in the house?"
  213. >You raise an eyebrow.
  214. "How much what?"
  215. >"How many bits, gems, forms of currency?"
  216. >You move to the bedside mini dresser and open the drawer.
  217. >About seventeen rubies of various sizes lay there.
  218. >Turning back to Trixie who is now at your side, you smile.
  219. "I think it'll last me three weeks."
  220. >She still has a worried look on her face.
  221. >"Are you sure? I-I mean, I could refuse... She would be really upset with me and probably never help me-"
  222. >You stop her by placing your hand on her head and smiling.
  223. "No, you need to go. We need more than one drawer that we cautiously open when we need to buy something."
  224. >She closes her eyes as you run your fingers through her mane and gently poke at her ears.
  225. >"Y-yeah..."
  226. >She pulls away from your hand and opens her eyes, staring directly into your own.
  227. >Her tone drops to a very noticeably serious one.
  228. >"Anon."
  229. >You lower your hand and kneel down to eye level with her.
  230. "What is it?"
  231. >"I..."
  232. >She stops, seeming to look past you.
  233. >She then quickly blinks and shakes her head.
  234. >"I love you."
  235. >She steps forward and buries her head into your chest.
  236. >A little bit confused at her behavior, you wrap your arms around her and hold her tightly.
  237. "I love you too, Trixie."
  238. >She inhales deeply once and then pulls away from you.
  239. >"I-I should get going... Please be careful with spending that."
  240. >You nod to her.
  241. "Of course."
  242. >She turns around and starts walking out of the room.
  243. >You follow suit to the front door.
  244. >Trixie wraps her cape around her torso and gently places her hat atop her head so that it barely covers her horn.
  245. >She opens the door and turns to you one last time.
  246. >"Goodbye."
  247. >Lightly smile at her.
  248. "Not goodbye. See you later."
  249. >She smiles and nods.
  250. >"Yeah. See you later."
  251. >You nod for her to go and she nods back, stepping outside.
  252. >Standing at the doorway, you watch as she walks further and further away from the house.
  253. >She stops once she is about to enter the forest and turns back for a moment.
  254. >After a few seconds of staring back at the house, she faces forward once again and continues her journey.
  255. >Stepping back into the house, you close the door.
  256. >You sigh as you think about what has just happened.
  257. >The closest person to you has suddenly left for an extended period of time.
  258. >Perhaps it isn't entirely wrong to consider the cheating joke you made earlier.
  259. >You look over at the wall of the living room and see the picture of the two of you together.
  260. >You're angrily wearing an equine festive hat as Trixie holds onto your arm, smiling as bright as she can.
  261. >That's genuine happiness...
  262. >The fuck were you thinking?
  263. >There's no way it could be cheating.
  264. >Quit thinking like that.
  265. >She's leaving home for such a long time to help the two of you even survive here.
  266. >The least you can do is fucking believe her.
  267. >Suddenly a sharp pain pangs through your head.
  268. >Grabbing your head and groaning, you talk to yourself.
  269. "Fuck... Already?"
  270. >You strip down to nothing and grab the scarf on the coat hanger, turning invisible.
  271. "Hopefully this doesn't take too long..."
  272. >You exit the house, closing the door behind you.
  273.
  274.
  275. >Your horn stops glowing as you finish casting the spell.
  276. >That should have sped up the time he takes to get here.
  277. >Removing an enchantment is just as easy as applying one, but doesn't need the target to be so close.
  278. >Magic is so nice sometimes.
  279. >Alright...
  280. >Now you'll just have to wait for him to come.
  281. >You walk over to the cushioned table and sit down.
  282. >This is going to be so great.
  283.
  284.
  285. >This is going to be absolutely awful.
  286. >Mr. Rock glares down at you as he lectures you about how this new generation of ponies don't think before they act.
  287. >All you can do is nod your head because if you do anything else, he probably won't allow you to make up for what you've done and just fire you.
  288. >"And another thing-"
  289. >You stop him.
  290. "Mr. Rock, sir?"
  291. >He turns to you, looking down at you with the most serious face you've ever seen anyone wear.
  292. >"What?"
  293. >You clear your throat a bit.
  294. "Um... The more time I spend listening to you, the less time I spend working."
  295. >He fully turns around and glares at you.
  296. >Oh crap.
  297. >You might have been a bit too straightforward there...
  298. >After studying your face for a few seconds, he smirks and nods.
  299. >"Well Miss, maybe I was wrong about you."
  300. >He turns around and points toward the small shack beside his house.
  301. >"There's a bed for you in there. Now get working."
  302. >He starts walking back to his house.
  303. >You trot quickly over to the shack.
  304. >It's probably better to get to work right away so he doesn't punish you.
  305. >But the cape and hat will get ruined if you work in them.
  306. >Pushing open the door with your hoof, you gag at the scent inside.
  307. >Just as he said, there's a bed against the wall.
  308. >However, all along the walls are big metal tubs.
  309. >The smell coming from them makes you think you're in a...
  310. >Oh no.
  311. "He didn't..."
  312. >A monotone voice comes from behind you.
  313. >"He did."
  314. >You jump and turn to see a gray mare with a flat, short, dark gray mane that covers one of her eyes.
  315. "Who are you?"
  316. >She walks past you and over to one of the metal tubs.
  317. >Planting her rear on it, she responds.
  318. >"My name is Marble."
  319. >The light stream of urine is heard and you look away.
  320. >This is insane...
  321. >Being forced to sleep in a restroom.
  322. >"Don't worry."
  323. >You look back a little, but still see her sitting there.
  324. >"Things will get better."
  325. >She moves from the tub and walks over to you.
  326. >You turn to her and she stares you in the face.
  327. >"Welcome to the family."
  328. >She turns around and exits the room.
  329. >You sigh and remove your hat and cape, placing them on the bed.
  330. >This is all for a good cause, Trixie.
  331. >Just keep telling yourself that.
  332. >As you look at your hat and cape laying on the bed, you think about how Anon is doing right now.
  333.
  334.
  335. >Fuck.
  336. >This is getting bad really fast.
  337. >You're just now making it into town and your head feels like it's about to explode.
  338. >Picking up the pace a little, you jog into town.
  339. >Not very many ponies crowd the streets of Ponyville today, making your job a whole lot easier.
  340. >You get to Twilight's tree within a matter of minutes.
  341. >After lightly knocking on the door, you wait a few seconds.
  342. >Spike opens it wide.
  343. >"Hel-huh?"
  344. >He looks around and then steps outside to see who had knocked.
  345. >You slip past him and close the door behind yourself.
  346. >It locks.
  347. >Spike bangs his hand on the door.
  348. >"NOT AGAIN!"
  349. >You walk to the basement door and reach for the knob.
  350. >As you do this, you feel a cold sensation shoot up your spine.
  351. >Weird.
  352. >Grabbing the knob, you turn it and pull open the door.
  353. >You step through the doorway and close it shut behind you.
  354. >Call down the stairs.
  355. "Twilight, I'm here."
  356. >Scrambling around is heard and then Twilight appears at the bottom of the stairs.
  357. >"Oh, hi!"
  358. >She has a huge smile on her face.
  359. >You walk down the stairs to her and remove the scarf, becoming visible again.
  360. >She asks, "Where is Trixie?"
  361. >You shake your head.
  362. "She had to go to Manehattan to work for a few weeks just to keep us on our feet."
  363. >Twilight's expression changes dramatically, as if she's completely lost.
  364. >You scratch your head and smirk.
  365. "We're kinda... poor. Heh."
  366. >"Oh."
  367. >Twilight looks around the room and then coughs.
  368. >"S-so, Trixie is gone for a while?"
  369. >You nod as you sit on the table that now has a cushion on it.
  370. "Yeah."
  371.
  372.
  373. >This is bad.
  374. >This is really bad.
  375. >All of the plans you've created had one control variable...
  376. >Trixie.
  377. >And now she's not even here.
  378. >How are you going to do this?
  379. >Anon looks confused as he sits nude on the table.
  380. >"Is everything alright?"
  381. >No, it's not alright!
  382. >Now there's no definite way to get Trixie out of the picture...
  383. >You smile.
  384. "Y-yes, sorry. I'm just thinking about things."
  385. >Anon gives you a worried look.
  386. >A few weeks?
  387. >That's so long!
  388. >You can't wait that long!
  389. >Anon suddenly grabs his head.
  390. >"I hate to rush you, but could you help me out?"
  391. >Oh, right.
  392. "Of course, sorry."
  393. >He lies on his back and you cast a spell to put him to sleep.
  394. >Once he becomes completely asleep, you pace back and forth next to the table.
  395. >Okay, so Trixie isn't going to be here for a while.
  396. >That means you can't get him to confess to her his true feelings for you.
  397. >At least not now.
  398. >Wait...
  399. >If she's going to be gone for that long, that means you can spend more time with Anon without having to worry.
  400. >Maybe this can still work the way you want it to.
  401. >He'll confess to her after spending so much time with you.
