  1. HOW TO RAPTORS
  2.
  3. By 'The Hawk'
  4.
  5. --------------
  6.
  7. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
  8.
  9. SCOPE
  10.
  11. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
  12.
  13. This covers only meat eating birds (raptors). That would be Eagles,
  14.
  15. Hawks, Falcons, and Owls.
  16.
  17. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
  18.
  19. WARNING
  20.
  21. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
  22.
  23. These birds have RAZOR sharp talons and can draw blood with just one
  24.
  25. strike of the foot. Do not attempt to court a bird that is not familiar
  26.
  27. with you!! It will have you for lunch!
  28.
  29. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
  30.
  31. ACCESS
  32.
  33. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
  34.
  35. Branchers (just able to perch, young hawks), are the best to start with.
  36.
  37. You can raise one of these, and they will imprint (think your mommy) on
  38.
  39. you and will be a friend for life. Haggards (wild caught) are the most
  40.
  41. practical and obtainable, however, they are also the most difficult to
  42.
  43. work with.
  44.
  45. These type of birds will require owning one. There are many books on
  46.
  47. Falconry which will cover the "how to catch" and "how to care for" part.
  48.
  49. Don't ask a Falconer for help. *ALL* falconers, except for a hand few, in
  50.
  51. the USA are pure assholes, and will refuse to help you if they know you
  52.
  53. are only interested in hawks as a pet (god help you if you dare say lover!).
  54.
  55. And out of those, only about 10 percent are willing to help you with their
  56.
  57. own sport of falconry. Plus, it is illegal in the US to own a pet hawk.
  58.
  59. I know, I have been arrested twice (like that will really keep me away from
  60.
  61. my lovers.)
  62.
  63. So, the "how to get one" part I will leave up to your imagination. Don't
  64.
  65. try them unless you are a hopeless bird-o-phile. To put up with the hassle
  66.
  67. and annoyance of caring for one, you must truly love them first.
  68.
  69. Over all, your best bet is to get an owl. These birds are very friendly,
  70.
  71. even if they are wild.
  72.
  73. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
  74.
  75. BEHAVIOR
  76.
  77. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
  78.
  79. With the exception of Owls, the birds are very aggressive by nature.
  80.
  81. They have only 3 thought modes:
  82.
  83. OBSERVE
  84.
  85. FLEE
  86.
  87. KILL
  88.
  89. The bird will be at its default state of OBSERVE and will switch to FLEE
  90.
  91. whenever your near it. When you get even closer, you can trigger the bird
  92.
  93. to go into KILL. Therefore, it is a must for you to get to know the bird
  94.
  95. before attempting anything with it. A wild bird will take about 2 weeks
  96.
  97. before it will calm down enough for you to even approach it. It will take
  98.
  99. 6 months before you will be able to hold him on the fist. So, don't expect
  100.
  101. to capture a hawk and start having fun with him unless you get to know him
  102.
  103. first!
  104.
  105. Owls are totally opposite. An owl will sit on the fist, and it will act
  106.
  107. like you have owned him for years! Anyone starting out, an owl would be
  108.
  109. an excellent starter bird. They are very calm during the day (since this
  110.
  111. is their sleep cycle) and you can pet them and snuggle them. Owl are
  112.
  113. extremely soft. More so then even a hawk. Here, the beak is to be watched.
  114.
  115. Owls will pop you with their beaks, not their talons. Owls love popping
  116.
  117. their beaks, even if it is just to make the sound alone!
  118.
  119. A few important facts are:
  120.
  121. STRIKE ZONE
  122.
  123. Anything in the front of the bird is susceptible to being struck with the
  124.
  125. talons. Keep clear of this area. Having a hawk bind (grab and not let go)
  126.
  127. to you is no fun! It will draw blood, and you cannot unbind them. I have
  128.
  129. had to literally pray each talon out of my skin, one at a time with my free
  130.
  131. hand. Should this happen to you, you can try and rotate your hand so the
  132.
  133. hawk thinks it is falling. If he thinks he is falling, he will unbind and
  134.
  135. fly off. However, if the hawk is totally pissed, he will squeeze harder and
  136.
  137. do nothing but flap his wings. Either way, it is painful and is to be avoided
  138.
  139. at all costs. ALWAYS think of and be aware of the strike zone.
  140.
  141. HIGHER IS BETTER!
  142.
  143. All birds seek higher ground. If your walking along, the hawk WILL fly off
  144.
  145. your fist and land on whatever high surface that's available. Be aware of
  146.
  147. this. If you have a hawk inside the house, he will fly and land on the
  148.
  149. curtains. No matter how close to the ceiling they are!
  150.
  151. BLIND SPOTS
  152.
  153. Hawks have no backs. Just ask one! You can put your chin on their head,
  154.
  155. kiss their backs. Put their backs into your chest, kiss their heads, what
  156.
  157. ever! They may on occasion, turn around, then they will see you and react,
  158.
  159. but if you put your chin on their head, they will not always react. Try it
  160.
  161. on a bird your familiar with and trust.
  162.
  163. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
  164.
  165. HOW TO DO!
  166.
  167. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
  168.
  169. Ok,ok. On with what your really reading this for!
  170.
  171. Let me clear up one thing first. From the guys, I am constantly asked "how
  172.
  173. do you get it in?" Well, YOU DON'T! Your dealing with a 1/4 inch hole, so
  174.
  175. I should hope you can't! Your going to have to have "outercourse". This
  176.
  177. pretty much means you will have to do your thing, while you please the hawk.
  178.
  179. A hawk will respond sexually to being licked, if you do it just right. Don't
  180.
  181. worry about the scat (called "slicings" or "mutes" in falconry terms.) Hawks
  182.
  183. do not have slicings like any other bird or animal. So, please don't confuse
  184.
  185. this with the typical horrible smelling feces of other animals. Hawk slices
  186.
  187. have NO ODOR and is perfectly clean!! So please don't get grossed out as I
  188.
  189. continue. You must see it to understand it. Actually, the cream of a hawk
  190.
  191. (also called "chalk", "bird white" or "bird lime") is very sweet in taste.
  192.
  193. Only the clear liquid and dark solids are bitter. You will only get exposed
  194.
  195. to this if you suck on their tail, causing the hawk to go!
  196.
  197. STEP ONE
  198.
  199. Inorder to keep the hawk calm, you will want to have sex in a low or no light
  200.
  201. area. Hawks, when in observe mode, will track your every move and can trigger
  202.
  203. into flee at any second. So, it must be quiet and dark. A place I prefer is
  204.
  205. in my shower. I let the hawk fly to the shower rod, turn the lights off, get
  206.
  207. the water going, and go from there. The constant sound of the water prevents
  208.
  209. the bird from being disturbed by other sounds, plus it is very relaxing.
  210.
  211. STEP TWO
  212.
  213. You will need to protect your hand and get the hawk to perch on it. I have
  214.
  215. used gloves, towels and shirts. A t-shirt wrapped around the hand makes for
  216.
  217. fair protection, the bird has a good grip and the shirt is light. It allows
  218.
  219. you to feel what he is doing.
  220.
  221. All birds seek higher ground. To get the bird on, take your protected hand
  222.
  223. and push against his feet. This will trigger KILL mode, so expect a quick
  224.
  225. hard pop. Typically, the bird will strike, hold, sense this is higher
  226.
  227. ground and then calmly climb up. If the bird still refuses to get on, try
  228.
  229. pushing on the back of the legs. The bird will get scared of falling and
  230.
  231. will sometimes back step and back step onto your fist.
  232.
  233. STEP THREE
  234.
  235. BIRD FUN! Hold your fist so it is still pointing up. Keep the bird facing
  236.
  237. away, and always be aware of his strike zone. Next, find his tail and get
  238.
  239. under it. This will scare the bird at first, he does not know what your
  240.
  241. trying to do. You will have to play chase the tail for a while until you
  242.
  243. get a few licks in.
  244.
  245. When the bird spins his tail around, you can twist your arm,
  246.
  247. and bring him back towards you. Always keep your face out of the strike
  248.
  249. zone. If it is too dark, use your free hand to feel for his tail. Or
  250.
  251. better yet, crack the bathroom door some to gain just enough light. You
  252.
  253. must always be aware of what end of the bird you have at all times. It is
  254.
  255. real easy to loose an eye if your not aware of what is going on. Seriously,
  256.
  257. it is a GREAT idea to wear safety glass when doing a hawk. No joke.
  258.
  259. Eventually, you will get one good lick in, and the bird will wise up to
  260.
  261. what is going on! Then, he will stop twisting around on your fist and let
  262.
  263. you have fun! It is hard to know where your at on a bird. Feel with your
  264.
  265. tongue. The area you want is located just above the two end bones under
  266.
  267. the tail. Use your lips to feel for the points of these bones and wet the
  268.
  269. feathers around the area just above it. When you hit the right spot, the
  270.
  271. bird will do one of two things:
  272.
  273. MALES
  274.
  275. Male birds will lift their tail up so you can get better access, and then
  276.
  277. bend it back down. He will then squat down and start twisting his tail into
  278.
  279. your face. How the bird responds will depend on the bird. I have had one
  280.
  281. bird get pretty wild! I could hardly keep up with the tail rubbing on that
  282.
  283. bird! Anyway, while he is twisting and rubbing, he will put his beak down
  284.
  285. and start grabbing and tearing at your fist. He will then start flapping
  286.
  287. his wings wildly like he is trying to fly off. Finally, he will immediately
  288.
  289. stop and stand up. Success! HAWK ORGASM!!
  290.
  291. You won't get any cum. Or atleast I have never gotten any as such.
  292.
  293. From what I understand from books, they give so little, it can hardly be
  294.
  295. detected. But I am not into it for just that! If you want, you can to
  296.
  297. repeat the process. Depending on the bird, he may or may not respond with
  298.
  299. more wing flapping. (hell, can you cum more then twice!)
  300.
  301. FEMALES
  302.
  303. Female birds will lift their tails straight up in the air, and will start
  304.
  305. pushing down into your face. They don't bend their tails down. They will
  306.
  307. do some twisting and will on occasion flap their wings. Female birds are nice
  308.
  309. because you can keep licking them again and again, and they don't get tired of
  310.
  311. the attention like males do.
  312.
  313. WRAP UP
  314.
  315. If you discover you like hawk slices, be careful of one thing. Don't suck
  316.
  317. too hard on the tail. You can easily draw blood and hurt the bird. The skin
  318.
  319. there is very sensitive. All that is needed is a slight suction to cause the
  320.
  321. bird to give up the goods. Talk about non-dairy creamer for your coffee! YUM!
  322.
  323. --- Hawk ---
