Fuyuko and Producer are stuck in traffic.
He apologizes and Fuyuko does the whole nothing to apologize for thing.
Producer brings up the topic of plans to record her new solo song next week, and asks how things were going with preparations for that.
She affirms that it's going well thanks to him. Even though he recognizes she's aware, Producer reminds her to not push herself.
While his concern is appreciated, Fuyuko assures him that the production planning is all done and she's properly maintaining the integrity of her throat.
Producer laughs, feeling as if he's giving undue lecture to an expert.
"I wouldn't say that much but...you're doing everything to your utmost without missing a beat."
"Right, I just don't want you to have any regrets."
"Obviously - I finally got a solo, there's no way I'm going to lose to anyone."
"This song will change the world."
"I intend to complete this with that zeal."
"Perhaps something like an idol solo song won't be able to make a difference, but I have to try, otherwise it's meaningless."
"That's the least I can do for all the fans that I'm deceiving."
Producer responds "I believe that feeling will reach everyone."
Producer rephrases "Actually, I don't just believe, it will certainly reach everyone. I will do everything in my power to make it so."
After that claim, traffic begins to move.

A gust from the sea blows by, chilling Producer at the harbor. A student on a field trip asks Producer to take a picture for them.
After taking their picture, they're impressed with his photography and wants him to take another. Another student also wants their own.
Producer gets mobbed by JK
Cut to flashback of Producer with Fuyuko earlier. The sky appeared to clear up, much to the dismay of Fuyuko.
She complains about the weather report being a sham, if it's going to be clear, it should say so.
Otherwise there wouldn't have been a need to bring an umbrella. Upon that, she realizes she forgot her umbrella at the cafe.
She has Producer wait at the harbor while she retrieves her forgotten umbrella.
As producer serves as a photographer, the students ask if he could show them around the area since they're unfamiliar.
Producer being such a nice guy, has a hard time turning them down. Watching from afar, Fuyuko spectates Producer's situation.
Producer receives a call from Fuyuko, who informs him that her umbrella wasn't at the cafe and she wants to retrace her steps. She could use his help.
With that, Producer excuses himself from the fieldtrip students and escapes. Fuyuko stops him along the way.
Producer confused why she's there, she felt like he would've been entrapped forever. Producer's been saved.
Fuyuko asks how he ended up like that. She comments that he had quite the crowd going.
"How were your fans?"
"No, it wasn't like that..."
"I know, it was figurative."
"Well...it's not as intense as what Fuyuko would have to deal with, but I wonder if I were an idol it'd be something like that."
"...You as an Idol..." Fuyuko laughs at the thought.

*Title is in reference to a Japanese idiom that could be referred to as a "godsend," such as being provided a boat when you need to cross a body of water. This 'godsend' bears a costly price.

Producer and Fuyuko are walking together at night after work. Fuyuko is in a good mood, and she decides she wants to hang around the area for a bit.
Producer offers to grab a drink, and while she initially declines, he convinces her otherwise and she accepts.
While waiting for Producer's return, she soaks in the atmosphere and reminisces about the past.
"-That expression is perfect! -What wonderful singing"
"Fuyu-chaan, Look over here! -So cute~! So cool~!"
The last memory is of Producer and her on a roof.
"Good work...! Let's change the world!"
Fuyuko elated, says "Shut up"
*Animation plays*
Producer finally arrives, apologizing for being late. Fuyuko tells him there's no rush.
He couldn't find any vending machines nearby, so he ended up going to a nearby convenience store instead.
Fuyuko realizes something as he's explaining.
"Just now..."
Producer hands her the tea and interrupts her train of thought.
Producer asks her if something happened, but she brushes it aside as nothing, and decides to leave it at that.
