  1. Hi,
  2.
  3. Thank you for your submission to the Open Hardware Summit.  Unfortunately, we received an overwhelming amount of proposals for a one-day conference and were not able to find room for your talk.  We do, however, think your submission could work well as a demo.  If you're interested, please let me know in the next few days and I'll pass your submission on to our demo chair for consideration.

  5. Feedback from the reviewers is included below.  Please note that given the informality of the review process and the constraints on the summit schedule, we had to consider additional factors when making final decisions about which talks to accept.
  6.
  7. Keep your eye on the website for the start of ticket sales, which should be in the next few days.
  8.
  9. We hope to see you on September 15th!

  11. Thank you,
  12. David A. Mellis

  21. The proposed talk is on-topic, and includes material that is likely to be interesting for the OHS. Part of the proposed talk (about the Milkymist organization and how open OSHW has helped it) is, however topical, is unlikely to be interesting to the majority of attendees. Other parts, particularly a non-technical description of the hardware that is being developed and a discussion of its implications for the open OSHW community would be welcome.

  25. Looks a little bit geeky, but seems to be really interesting as a complicated consumer electronics like open hardware project. I'd like to hear about how they distribute hardware and how they will treat liability issues.
