>It's a beautiful day in Equestria, as it always is
>It started off as any other normal day, well, ever since you arrived
>You begin your routine with the normal cleaning of yourself, and your normal dental habits, then putting on your clothes
>You head to the kitchen in somewhat of a hurry as you are running a bit late for work
>You grab a snack and off you go
>walking down the road you familiarized yourself with, the stares you receive have toned down quite a bit
>you've even become friendly with many residents of ponyville, including the mane 6
>Not paying attention as usual, you think to yourself
"How generous of Celestia to give you a pardon from taxes and a temporary place to stay until you got situated"
>Lost in your own train of thought, you didn't see the lightning fast rainbow stream coming straight your way
>"Annooooooooooooooon!!!"
>You snap out of it too late as you get tackled to the ground
>As you come to, you see a face that's already too familiar lying on top of you, It's Rainbow
>Trying to hide the pain of what felt like getting hit by a freight train
>You arch yourself up a little bit with her still on top of you
"unh.. uh haha hey rainbow"
>your holding your side as it hurts to laugh
>"What you doing Anon? Where you going?" a curious Rainbow asks
"You know I have work Rainbow, and I'm running late as it is"
>as you get up gently placing the little blue pony on the ground
>You continue walking as Rainbow trails behind
>She responds "I know Anon i'm sorry, I just thought that maybe you can do something with me today instead"
>Sensing a little jealousy in her voice
"Rainbow you know it's not like that, I just work for her, she was nice enough to offer me this job, and I can't keep showing up late like this"
>You look at rainbow and see a little red in her cheeks
>"What?!" she responds as you caught her off guard "I just don't want you to be worked too hard, and you're still new here and you should check all your options first"
>But you knew it was more then just that
"Rainbow you know it's impossible for me to clear the skies, not only because I can't fly, but you could do it in a heartbeat"
>A somewhat defeated Rainbow responds "Okay... but how about we grab dinner after? My treat"
>How could you say no?
"Of course rainbow, I get off right before sunset, I'll swing by your place when I finish?" Giving her a reassuring smile
>She's blushing again and is doing poorly at hiding it
>Not being able to control her excitement, she quickly gives you a hug and says "see you then!!" and dashes off faster then you could respond
>chuckling to yourself you press on and get lost in another train of thought
>How rainbow dash became so fond of you and so did she.. You couldn't understand why, you were foreign, not of this world
>But you couldn't complain, although you missed parts of your old lifestyle, you feel like you could get used to this one
>Everyone was so nice, or should you say everypone
>Your thoughts go back to Rainbow and her, I mean if they liked you, what was wrong with liking them back? You were still confused
>You're new to this place, should you be worried of such things? should you try to make things work? or trying to figure out how to get home?
>Lost in endless questions it's interrupted with a hard bump to your head
>It's a sign saying "Welcome to Sweet Apple Acres"

>Being far away from Anon and any other pone, you finally let out all your excitement Doing somersaults and back flips whizzing back and forth through the air
>You suddenly stop, "I need to go to work too!! You bolt back in the direction of ponyville!

>You were just standing there looking at the sign, there's the sweet scent of apples filling your nose
>As you decide to head onto the property towards the red barn in the distance, you cant help but still be amazed by the sight
>This farm was huge! with every sort of apple you could think of, You had Gala apples, Ginger gold, Golden Delicious, Honeycrisp, Granny smith, Paula red, McIntosh, Red Delicious, Fuji apples and the list went one
>You commend yourself for remembering the names, although it was part of the job, not too mention two of them were her family members names and your co workers.
>As you approach the barn you begin to notice that there she is leaning up against it waiting for you
>She takes notice. "Howdy sugarcube! Took you a while, didn't run into no trouble did ya?"
>You feel ashamed and you look at her with an apologetic look
"I'm sorry AJ, I just got up late this morning, it won't happen again"
>She looks at you and knows what your saying is sincere "Aww shucks, don't sweat it sugarcube, not many pone are used to getting up as early as the apple family, but ya owe me one" giving you a smile and a wink "now lets get to work"
>As you see AJ head inside the barn, you're standing there wondering what she could have meant by that
"I owe her one?"
>Not thinking on it too long, you quickly follow her not wanting to make her upset for another reason then being late
>You step inside the barn and see AJ hooking herself up to a wagon, she looks at you "uh, mind giving me a little help sugar cube?"
>Without hesitation you go by her side and tighten the straps on each side, you couldn't help but notice how soft she was, her fur felt good to the touch..
>"You doing okay Anon?"
>You snap back to
"Oh sorry AJ just got lost in a train of thought"
>"It's okay Anon, ah get those too, why don't we talk about it over dinner tonight? We got a lot of bucking and collecting to do"
"That be great AJ, I'd love to"
>You and AJ then head out of the barn far a hard days work.

>It was already two hours past sunset and you were sitting on his front porch, you know he told you he'd swing by your place but even then he should have been home by now..
>Feeling a slight tear come down your cheek, you decide to head home
"I can't believe Anon lied to me.."
>you're walking on the path to get to home and notice the way to Sweet Apple Acres
>Maybe he just got busy, yeah that's it! who wouldn't want to spend time with someone as AWESOME as me
"I'll just go take a quick peek, I can get there in a flash and they wouldn't even notice me"
>Excited and giving yourself a confidence boost you zoom over to Sweet Apple Acres.

>This came as no surprise, seeing as you crushed her grandmother.. You knew she was okay because she told you her hip pops out of place all the time, but you still felt bad
