  1. 1) Annihilation: enemy forces must be destroyed as quickly as possible. It is also preferring to destroy rather than occupy terrain, as well as firm belief in primacy of offensive over defensive actions.
  2. 2) Surprise attack: Achieved by attacking in unexpected time, in unexpected place with unexpected means. It is generally about maintaining OPSEC and deceiving the enemy to make him think we are doing something else than we are doing. Nikolian army often uses hours of darkness, hard terrain and weather to conceal it’s operations and strike enemy where he does not expects it.
  3. 3) Massing fires: Employ overwhelming firepower from Artillery systems and heavy guns to create enough space for Nikolian army to maneuver.
  4. 4) Mobility: Employ mechanized units to increase overall mobility. During the march units are guided by specific C2 system
  5. 5) Unreachable rear: Ensuring that by any chance rear of Nikolian army is unreachable and safe from enemy attack
  6. 6) Mixed Arms: Ensuring cooperation between regular and irregular (Special operations forces, guerillas ) forces operating deep within enemy territory. Nikolia maintains massive SOF for purpose of waging asymmetric operations in enemy’s rear.
  7. 7) Use Air force and Navy in cooperation with Ground force: use their firepower as well as transport capabilities to help in supporting ground forces.
  8. 8) Echeloning forces: dividing forces into echelons, to achieve better tactical proficiency.
  9. 9) Combined arms: Cooperation between all forces ( also called unity of command )
  10. 10) Adequate logistics: Support logistics operations (forward distribution) towards Nikolian army
  11. 11) Utilize rugged terrain: to best advantage for armed forces
  12. 12) Detailed recon and intelligence: providing information about enemy.
