[01:09] * @Mad_Modd oh group, having finally gotten the strange vehicle working, has caught up to Ragebrew in Swirlston. After a few... revelations about there young scaly friend, the group was discussing payment for treating the little filly raider. After spending most of there caps at the towns trade shop.
06[01:09] * Ragebrew sat away from the group, carefully mincing the red herbs he had found earlier, letting them try in the bottom of the pot before he carefully, delicately, began to grind them up into a powder. The "vials" he was using were just spent shotgun shells, a small wad of cloth crammed into the opening. He over cooked one batch, and it exploded into a massive plume of smoke that lingered for a few minutes. Rage just kept on brewing.
06[01:11] * Saddle_Burr finishes refueling the buggy. "That should keep it moving for a while." Turning to look at the others, he asks: "So, what's the plan? Do we wanna go hunting for some bees?"
06[01:12] * Merciful_Devotion stretches her legs a bit, feeling strange about being in this town again, with a group of new... Friends might not be right yet, but kind ponies, ones who saved her life. "Sound's like a plan to me."
06[01:12] * Pocket_Lint sit a bit apart from the rest of the crew, fiddling with his armor...though it looked distinct enough, the scent of cheese was prevalent...the pegasus was annoyed by the obtrusive ammount of stupid illogical details found so far.
06[01:12] * Long-shot slings her new rifle over has back and sits by Amy, playing and talking to the silly purple Gecko.
06[01:14] * Ragebrew coughed a few times, and said through the haze of smoke. "We've got bees to steal from. Doc wants their wax in exchange for Three's treatment. Seems like a bargain, provided the bees are too horrible." Out from the cloud of smoke, small leather pouches flew with disturbing accuracy, smacking into everyponys' face harmlessly. "Bees hate smoke. Keep those close by. Might be able to smoke 'em out."
06[01:15] * Pocket_Lint shakes his head. "That pun was so terrible, it should be outlawed."
06[01:16] * Merciful_Devotion blinks and picks up the pouches. "Was it nescessary to hit us in the face?"
06[01:16] * Ragebrew pokes his head through the veil of smoke. "Can't see shit, cap'n." Disappears back within.
06[01:17] * Merciful_Devotion giggles. "So I'm a captain, now?"
06[01:19] * Saddle_Burr acks at the pouch! "Hey!", he complains before picking it up and setting it into his bandoleer. "I know there's some bees around here, but haven't hunted them before. My dad did, though, but he can't help us now."
06[01:19] * Long-shot puts Amy on her back giving her a vantage point on the others while they talk
06[01:20] * Ragebrew chuckled before having another coughing fit. "Ya can be anything ya like, ma'am. Just don't do anything stupid and get yerself hurt. And shall we hunker down for the night? Or hell, should we try looting 'em during the night? I think bees are less active at night."
06[01:20] * Pocket_Lint stows his pouchs, keeping them over the rest of his current gear. "We'd get a better shot if we scatter them and thin their numbers gradually."
06[01:20] * Saddle_Burr shrugs. "No idea. For all I know they could be sluggish during the day because of the heat."
06[01:21] * @Mad_Modd it is currently late afternoon and the sun has begun to set behind the cloud cover
[01:22] <Pocket_Lint> "Either way, we'd best spend the rest of the day reconing the surroundings or going after the bees."
01[01:22] <Saddle_Burr> "By the way, shouldn't we send word to Busted Flats somehow? They're expecting us with the caravan by sundown."
06[01:24] * Merciful_Devotion looks towards the setting sun. "I don't know if we'll make it in time."
06[01:24] * Ragebrew nodded, looking to Saddle. "Aye, that they are. Hmm." He began to cut up cactus fruit and edible grass, through them in the still slightly smoldering pot. "Figure we load all the supplies we recovered, head out with the buggy while some others do a little recon around the hive. Meet back in the early morning, and hit 'em before day break. Sound good?"
01[01:24] <Saddle_Burr> "Where is the hive, by the way?"
06[01:24] * Long-shot looks over from talking to Amy "Were good for whatever" looks back to her
06[01:27] * Ragebrew draws a crude map in the same. Mine cart was the town. "From what the doc told me.." He drew a little bee somewhere a ways to the southwest. "It's close by, but not TOO close by. They have been having bee sting issues. Maybe a quarter day trot at most."
[01:27] <Ragebrew> in the sand*
01[01:28] <Saddle_Burr> "Alright, I can head there while you drive back to Flats."
[01:29] <Pocket_Lint> "I'll do a flyby and pinpoint anywhere of interest."
06[01:29] * Ragebrew looked at the buggy. "I think our good ladies can handle Busted. Ya and I can head to the hive. Pocket... Yeah, that sounds good to me. Might be some ruins we can rummage through. Gonna be a long night."
06[01:30] * Saddle_Burr nods at Pocket Lint. "Good. We'll have to leave soon, or it'll be too dark for you to see anything from the air."
[01:30] <Pocket_Lint> "Ruins?" His eyes shine immediately.
06[01:30] * Pocket_Lint nods and takes flight. "We'll meet here later."
01[01:30] <Saddle_Burr> "Yeah, the ground is full of them."
[01:31] <Merciful_Devotion> "Wait... So we're splitting up?"
06[01:31] * Long-shot "Me with Mercy and you guys the hive?"
06[01:31] * Ragebrew shrugged. "Lotta old sites. Most are picked clean, but a few might still bear fruit." He quickly repacked his alchemy kit, and swapped out for his light combat armor. "Aye, we are Merciful. Only for a few hours though. We just wanna check the hive, get a feel for the surrounding area, maybe see just what a radbee looks like."
01[01:31] <Saddle_Burr> "Yup. The buggy has enough speed for you to avoid any problems on the way back to Flats."
06[01:33] * @Mad_Modd of in the distance, from the direction that the raider foals had come from. The sounds of far off gunfire can be heard, it sounds like a full blown battle is taking place. It only last for a few minutes. Perhaps it was another group attacking the raiders base, almost as if they knew they had been weakened.
06[01:33] * Ragebrew perks his ears up, looking to the sound of battle. "Hmm. That does not sound good. Delay for now, investigate the fighting?"
[01:34] <Merciful_Devotion> "I hope so... I don't think my first time with a group ended too well, and we were all together..." She looks towards the sound. "Fun..."
06[01:34] * Long-shot "The word ambush... comes to mind..."
06[01:34] * Saddle_Burr looks towards the horizon. "Nah, let them kill each other and drive back to Flats while they're distracted."
[01:35] <Ragebrew> "And the words high speed buggy comes to mind for me. Right, we might wanna roll together towards Busted. Just in case. Saddle and I can sleep on the way there and back, be fresh for the night's recon."
06[01:36] * Pocket_Lint shrugs and flies off to explore the other direction, he didn't cared much about the raiders' fate.
06[01:36] * Merciful_Devotion watches Pocket_Lint fly off. "Well, okay then..."
[01:36] <Ragebrew> "Oi, Pocket, give us a high fly over of the fight! Might be another caravan under attack!" Rage yelled at the departing pegasus.
06[01:37] * Pocket_Lint shouts back. "Not worth it." He continues his course.
06[01:37] * Long-shot "Um.. Rage, where do you want Amy?"
[01:38] <Ragebrew> "Seeing as she can blink between places, I figure she can go where she feels is best is something goes south. Unless she'd rather have someone do it for her."
06[01:38] * Saddle_Burr raises an eyebrow at Rage
06[01:39] * Ragebrew looked to Saddle, and shrugged. "She went from Long's head to my head in the blink of an eye. Seen unicorns pull that trick off. Seems little Amethyst has quite a few tricks."
06[01:39] * Long-shot looks around "She... she did?"
06[01:40] * Saddle_Burr shakes his head as he climbs onto the vehicle. "I swear, there's something iffy about that lizard..."
06[01:40] * Merciful_Devotion blinks. "Really?"
01[01:40] <Saddle_Burr> "Well, let's get going."
[01:41] <Merciful_Devotion> "Alright."
06[01:41] * Long-shot trots over to Mercy "So were separating? Why do I feel this will still be a long night?" she sighs
06[01:41] * Ragebrew nodded to his fellow wastelander. "That there is. Had me thinking Long was sun addled. Nah. Just a little magical gecko gal who can talk in yer head." Rage took a sip of his canteen, before offering up to Amethyst. "But so long as she doesn't try anything funny, and she fills us in eventually, I got nothing against that. May prove to be a life saver one of these days."
06[01:42] * Long-shot giggles madly "LIFE SAVER, hehehe, you should hear what her life goal is"
06[01:43] * Ragebrew looked at Long, grinning. "What, the destruction and subjegation of pony kind?"
06[01:43] * Merciful_Devotion glances at Long-shot. "Are you /sure/ you're okay?"
06[01:43] * Long-shot "I... I can't tell you that right now... she'd get mad..."
06[01:44] * Ragebrew waved a hoof at Merciful. "She's alright. Little one spoke to me earlier. Only a little bit, but I know the sound of the voices in my head. None of them sound cute. And if she'd get mad, let her get mad at me. If I am gonna be caring for her, I'd like to know what she has in mind."
01[01:45] <Saddle_Burr> "Hurry up, everyone. If we're all going back to Flats we should get moving."
[01:49] <Ragebrew> "Aye, aye. Pocket will be able to keep track of us from the sky, I am sure." Rage hopped onto the back of the buggy, unslinging his new APGL and setting up position. "Ahm a turret."
01[01:50] <Saddle_Burr> "Wanna drive, Long? Or would you like to, Mercy?"
06[01:52] * Long-shot "Mercy, I got Amy"
06[01:52] * Pocket_Lint flies closer, closer...landing near the group. "Done."
06[01:53] * @Mad_Modd Mercy climbs into the drivers seat and starts up the buggy "Let's go" and starts to drive back towards Busted Flats
06[01:54] * Ragebrew jerks backwards as the buggy lurches forward. His checks and lips were flapping rather audibly over the roar of the engine "Dis. Is. AWESOME!"
06[01:55] * Saddle_Burr just tries to hold on to something!
06[01:55] * Pocket_Lint sighs and flies again in another direction to explore.
06[01:56] * Long-shot tries to hold onto Amy tightly as they head towards the next town.
01[01:56] <Saddle_Burr> "Was that Pocket who just landed?"
06[01:56] * @Mad_Modd Amethyst seem to have dissapeared into Ragebrew saddle cans
06[01:57] * Ragebrew feels the familiar weight appear, and chuckles. "Think it was! Shall we fetch him?"
06[01:58] * Long-shot looks around wondering what the heck happened to Amy
06[01:58] * Saddle_Burr peers over his shoulder. "I don't see him anymore! Maybe it wasn't him after all."
06[02:01] * Ragebrew leans forward and taps Long-shot on the head. "Dun worry, she's in her nest!" He yelled over the roar of the engine before settling in, eyes surveying the wastes as they rushed past.
06[02:03] * @Mad_Modd after an hour or so of driving the group, minus Pocket, come up on Busted Flats, there new ride seems to be causing quite a stir as a few armed ponies are running to defensive positions around the town
06[02:04] * Saddle_Burr waves a hoof at everypony! "Hi! Come and take a look at what we found out there!"
06[02:04] * @Mad_Modd they can't hear you over the sound of the engine
06[02:05] * Saddle_Burr turns to look at Mercy. "Stop the engine. We'll walk there so they don't shoot us."
06[02:06] * @Mad_Modd Mercy dose as she is asked and stops the buggy, a short distance outside the town
06[02:06] * Saddle_Burr hops off the buggy and waves again. "Don't shoot! It's us!"
06[02:06] * Long-shot gets nervous at the sight of ponies pointing guns at them and sinks a little lower in her seat.
06[02:06] * Ragebrew stepped off the buggy carefully, not jostling his cases too much, before trotting over to the band of gun totters. "SUP LADS!" His ears were ringing so much.
06[02:07] * Long-shot slowly crawls out of the buggy and follows the others.
06[02:08] * @Mad_Modd the guards seem to relax and one trots out, a young stallion with a blue coat and black mane "Where the fuck did you get that thing?"
01[02:08] <Saddle_Burr> "We took it from some raiders who attacked the caravan."
06[02:09] * Ragebrew grinned wide, striking a dramatic pose to highlight the fact his duster was about 50% bullet hole now. "Got 'em good, but not before they managed to hit the caravan. Got some gear to fork over to the boss lady. She at her office?"
06[02:10] * @Mad_Modd he rolls his eyes "Right. Bring that contraption in here. The Mayor thought we were getting attacked. She's hold up in her shop. I'll take y'all to her"
06[02:11] * Saddle_Burr nods and follows, waving for Mercy to drive the buggy closer.
06[02:13] * Ragebrew trots along side the blue and black pony, still giggy as all sin from the ride. "A good idea. Although the raiders weren't too bright, or too big..."

06[02:32] * Ragebrew sighed and continued trotting forward. "Sick bastards were using fillies to fight. Or the band was nothing but fillies and colts. I don't know. All I know was there was a bunch of lead flying at me, and I wanted it to stop. We managed to capture one, getting her treatment in Swirl. Might be able to figure it out when she wakes up."
06[02:33] * Merciful_Devotion hops out of the buggy and trots over.
06[02:33] * Mad_Modd 3 the stallion looks a little disturbed by this "Using fillies... to fight? And they gave em that contraption? Fuck the wasteland just don't let up"
06[02:34] * Ragebrew nodded. "Aye. Like to get Three moving again, so we can find the base and see to a little purging of corrupt souls. As for now, we got the remains of the caravan to offer up to the Boss lady."
06[02:35] * Saddle_Burr nods. "Yeah...but at least we got one of the caravan guards to safety. This is Merciful Devotion.", he says as he sees Mercy trotting closer.
06[02:37] * Merciful_Devotion waves at the group. "Hiya~"
06[02:37] * Mad_Modd he blushes a bit as Mercy comes up as they are approaching the Mayors shop. As he pushes the door open the upper part explodes in a shower of splinters. The Mayors voice calls out "YOU"LL NEVER TAKE ME ALIVE!!"
06[02:38] * Ragebrew gets peppered with splinters. "Calm down, ya damn crazy dame! It's just yer intrepid band of sell swords!"
06[02:38] * Saddle_Burr ducks for cover behind the doorframe! "Aah! Stop shooting! It's us!"
06[02:39] * Long-shot jumps stomach to the floor covering her head, she grunts as she hits the ground hard and fast
06[02:40] * Merciful_Devotion drops to the ground. "What the hell!?"
06[02:41] * Mad_Modd 3 the guard "MAYOR!! It's me! Sprinkles! It's only Saddle and Rage. They're back! They was the ones driving that thing"
06[02:42] * Saddle_Burr peeks out from behind the cover
06[02:43] * Long-shot crawls further away from the door, head low
06[02:44] * Ragebrew just walks through the blasted door. "I ain't paying for that, ma'am. Could ya put away the boomstick?"
06[02:44] * Merciful_Devotion looks over herself, hoping she hadn't been hit with any stray shrapnel.
06[02:45] * Long-shot inches up, glad her Trooper Armor caught most of that "Whew" she huffs
06[02:46] * Mad_Modd 3 she in cover behind her counter, double barreled shotgun at the read, a large cooking pot on her head "Oh! It's y'all. Thought ya bought it when we heard all that shooting earlier"
06[02:46] * Merciful_Devotion winces at the mention of attack.
06[02:47] * Saddle_Burr gets up and shakes splinters from his mane. "Nah, we're still here to pester you."
06[02:48] * Ragebrew gave her a somber look. "We made it out fine, but only Merciful here managed to make it out alive after the attack. Seems the raiders were looking for slaves, not corpses. We managed to get some of the supplies from the wreckage, but imagine nothing compared to what ya hoped for."
06[02:49] * Mad_Modd 3 she looks to Mercy "I'm sorry ta hear that dear. Now... I hate to be forward about this. But just how much survived? I do still have a town to run"
06[02:50] * Merciful_Devotion nods. "Thank you ma'am. And about half of what we were transporting.''
06[02:52] * Mad_Modd 3 she stashes her shotgun and stomps a hoof on the counter "Well let's have a look"
06[02:54] * Long-shot sets 2 bundles of components on the counter and 1 box of materials on the counter.
06[02:54] * Ragebrew sets the medical supplies on the counter.
06[02:58] * Merciful_Devotion sets a box of kitchen supplies on the counter.
06[03:00] * Mad_Modd 3 she furrows her brow at the meager supplies "What's this now? This ain't even a quarter of what we asked for! You rip ta rip us off?"
06[03:01] * Ragebrew instantly looks very angry, but keeps his mouth shut.
06[03:08] * Merciful_Devotion rummages in her saddle, pulling out a bundle of food. "Sorry, this was kinda at the bottom..."
06[03:10] * Mad_Modd 3 the Mayor huffs "Well... it's still not even half what was agreed on. I'll give you a hundred caps for what you did bring us"
06[03:12] * Merciful_Devotion frowns. "I assure you, ma'am, this is as close to half of what we had as I can tell.
06[03:14] * Saddle_Burr glances back and forth between the two mares, listening to the conversation.
06[03:16] * Mad_Modd 3 she groans in frustration "Fine! It's half so I'll give ya hundred fifty caps. But no more." huffing and pulling out some caps
06[03:19] * Merciful_Devotion smiles. "Considering all that happened to the stuff, I think that's fair. Anypony think otherwise?" She looks to the group.
06[03:19] * Ragebrew drops his expression. "And the escort fee. I'll take half, cause only half got to ya."
06[03:20] * Saddle_Burr shakes his head at Mercy. "No, I don't think so."
06[03:21] * Long-shot "I'm good, sides getting my head almost blown off on the way in here...'
06[03:23] * Mad_Modd 3 she just kinda gins and digs out some more caps, hoofing the first bag of 150 to Mercy "There ya go. And I see y'all ditched that damn pegasus"
01[03:24] <Saddle_Burr> "Nah, he's still with us and we're taking his pay to him, so don't think you can wiggle out of this."
[03:26] <Ragebrew> "Just putting his bird brain to use and having him recon the area. Speaking off, we need to get back to Swirl, see if he's found anything good."
06[03:28] * Mad_Modd 3 she just huffs again and flings a bag of caps "Just go. I got enough problems with raider an..." and she just starts muttering to herself, something about the fountain and raiders
01[03:29] <Saddle_Burr> "Hmmm? Something wrong with the fountain?"
06[03:29] * Mad_Modd 3 "I didn't say nothin"
[03:29] <Ragebrew> "We all got problems with raiders. Looking to help rip out the root of the problem myself. If ya fancy hiring us for a little raider cleansing, I'd do it for free, but if ya wanna help, that'd be nice."
01[03:32] <Saddle_Burr> "Yes you did, I heard you. Something about the fountain starting to go."
[03:34] <Merciful_Devotion> "Ma'am, if there's anything we can help with..."
[03:34] <Ragebrew> "Was wondering why the price of a clean bottle was going up..."
06[03:35] * Mad_Modd 3 opens her mouth to say something, then thinks better of it and shoos the guard out. Checking the door before she turns back to the group "The fountain ain't been workin right. Half the time it's won't turn on and even then every so often all we get is this black sludge. We're gunna need ta fix it or find a replacement. Or we're gunna have to clear out."
01[03:36] <Saddle_Burr> "Oh crap..."
06[03:36] * Ragebrew dropped his head onto the counter with a thud. "Great. Now I gotta find a fucking water tailsmen..."
01[03:38] <Saddle_Burr> "Have you sent anypony out to look for a replacement yet?"
[03:39] <Merciful_Devotion> "Damn..."
06[03:39] * Mad_Modd 3 "Do you have any idea how hard to find those are? The only reason we had one is because we kept it secret fer the most part and that we're to far outa the way to really bother with"
06[03:39] * Long-shot sighs "More trouble on the road ahead.. just like she told me..." she mutters quietly to herself
06[03:41] * Saddle_Burr rubs his forehead with a hoof. "Yeah...we need to fix this fast. How long do you think it'll work before it shuts down?"
[03:41] <Ragebrew> "Well, rare as they might be, sure there has to be one somewhere around here. I think there is a MAS hub somewhere around. Might be one there. Or we could get lucky and stumble on one of those fancy Stables."
06[03:42] * Long-shot "The underground base near here should have one..."
06[03:42] * Saddle_Burr blinks, looking at Rage! "You're right! Who has those papers?"
[03:42] <Ragebrew> "Pocket."
01[03:43] <Saddle_Burr> "Alright, so we get back to Swirlston and see if we can find anything in them!"
06[03:43] * Mad_Modd 3 she shrugs "No idea how long it'll last. From what I was told the thing was old when the war started, so it could be a day or another hundred years till it finally give up"
[03:43] <Ragebrew> "So, list of things to do: First, bees, then raiders, then water tailsmen. If ya don't have any dew catchers set up, ya might want to make 'em. Could be a while."
01[03:44] <Saddle_Burr> "Wait, we can't set the raiders before the town! The talisman could break at any moment."
06[03:44] * Mad_Modd 3 "Damnit Rage you know we got condencers! You helped set up the last one a few years ago."
06[03:45] * Ragebrew chuckled. "Aye, but I figure ya may need to double, maybe triple the field. If that does break tomorrow, I'd rather not return home in a few weeks to a ghost town."
06[03:45] * Mad_Modd 3 she sighs "Condencers just ain't enuff. Sure we would survive, but our trade would dry up. Ventually we'd run outa food"
06[03:46] * Saddle_Burr looks at the meager pile of supplies on the counter. "That could be sooner than later. We gotta do something fast."
[03:47] <Ragebrew> "I wonder if the dragoness might have one squirreled away... Still, that'd be a task worthy of a fable there..."
01[03:48] <Saddle_Burr> "She might know where there was one back before the war, but I'd rather not wake her up."
[03:49] <Ragebrew> "Not without a couple bighorners to tide her over at least..."
06[03:49] * Long-shot "Think we can go get those Brahmin's meats?"

06[03:54] * Saddle_Burr stares at the Mayor, then puts the bag into his bags. "Alright. See you again. We'll be back when we've found something."
06[03:55] * Ragebrew heads back to the buggy and sets himself back in place. "Keep it slow, we won't have much light for the ride out."

06[04:04] * Long-shot Uses her magic and tries to make a beam of light in the front of the buggy

06[04:05] * Mad_Modd 3 she dose not make a beam but it's enough light to drive on the road
06[04:05] * Merciful_Devotion giggles and hops into the buggy. "Well, everypony load up!"
01[04:05] <Saddle_Burr> "Autoponies, roll out!"

06[04:07] * Merciful_Devotion barely resists the urge to slam her face against the buggy steering wheel.
06[04:08] * Saddle_Burr patpats Merciful Devotion on a shoulder. "Just drive and it'll be over quicker."
06[04:09] * Ragebrew thwaps Long-shot in the back of the head. "Hush ya, or I'll let Amy nibble on yer ears."
06[04:09] * Long-shot meeps and stays perfectly still now scared and red "N-No thankyou"
06[04:14] * Mad_Modd 3 the drive back was quick, although it didn't seem that way to some. They stopped and picked the brahmin carcase clean. Surprisingly it was untouched and most of the meat was still good. They arrive back at Swirlton shortly before midnight, the guards recognizing the machine and giving them no head.
06[04:15] * Saddle_Burr hops off the buggy and starts looking around for the pegasus.
06[04:15] * Ragebrew didn't bother to make a meal before crashing out on the back of the buggy. "We got an early day. Get some shut eye while ya can." He did however give Amethyst a pair of cactus fruits to tide her over until the morning.
06[04:16] * Pocket_Lint is snoozing on the front of the trade stop, under the overhang.
06[04:17] * Pocket_Lint  's pink armor is easily spottable.
06[04:17] * Saddle_Burr trots over to him and pokes with a hoof. "Wakey, wakey...I've got something for you."
06[04:17] * Pocket_Lint yawns and stretches his hoovsies. "Bout dem times ya guys got back."
06[04:19] * Merciful_Devotion stops the buggy's engine and climbs out, stretching her legs a bit.
06[04:19] * Long-shot stays in the car still a little out of it "H-hey Mercy... we there.. yet?"
06[04:19] * Saddle_Burr gets the bag of caps from his saddlebags and gives it to Pocket. "Yeah, we got some surprising news. Do you still have those papers you got from that safe?"
06[04:20] * Pocket_Lint takes the caps AND the bag. "Yea, gotcha them...whats the deal?"
06[04:20] * Merciful_Devotion turns and gives Long-shot a glare. "Enough with that joke, please..."

06[04:23] * Ragebrew rests on the buggy, checking to see if Amethyst was awake in her case. Seeing how loud the ride was, he'd be amazed if she wasn't.
06[04:23] * Saddle_Burr leads Pocket back to the car and turns around, making sure nopony's listening in on them. "Alright, you remember that water talisman we have in the shop back at Flats?"

06[04:24] * Merciful_Devotion walks over and pats Long's head. "It's okay, I'm not mad, really."
06[04:24] * Pocket_Lint nods. "yep...what about it?"
[04:24] <Ragebrew> "Must have ears like steel..." He set the pair of cactus fruit beside her, and curled up for sleep. He still needed to recon that hive before the sun rose...

06[04:25] * Merciful_Devotion cants her head to the side. "Come now, dear... I'm sorry I got mad."
01[04:25] <Saddle_Burr> "It's running dry. The town is running out of water, and we need to fix it or find a new one. There was some mention about a Ministry hub in those papers, right?"
06[04:26] * Pocket_Lint nods. "Yep, but the papers were really vague...unless ya got additional info, ain't much help, saddle...already told what I read onto them."

06[04:38] * Mad_Modd 3 the night was uneventful, and the group managed to get a halfway decent night of sleep
06[04:41] * Saddle_Burr keeps on snoring, trying to ignore the morning.
06[04:41] * Merciful_Devotion rubs her eyes and groans, the sun getting right into her eyes.
06[04:42] * Pocket_Lint is already checking his gear, had some things planed out...
06[04:42] * Pocket_Lint adds a hooffull of rocks to his posessions for the moment.
06[04:42] * Mad_Modd 3 there is no sun as the cloud cover is still there
06[04:42] * Long-shot yawns and stretches awake
06[04:43] * Ragebrew wakes before the dawn, and quickly set about making a meal. All the cactus fruit and some nuts would do well enough. Plenty of water in them as well. Always with the gruel. It wasn't even heated. Everyone got a plate next to them. Each he nudged awake to their meal.
06[04:43] * Pocket_Lint contemplated his meal and chugged it on, nomming the most important meal of the day.
06[04:44] * Saddle_Burr groans and tries to sleep a little longer, but eventually gets up and starts eating, looking at the world bleary-eyed.
06[04:44] * Long-shot looks around the room trying to find her target "Hmm" her eyes hunt for the purple Gecko
[04:44] <Pocket_Lint> "I'll be right back..." As the pegasus says that, he flies off.
06[04:45] * Merciful_Devotion stretches, getting up into a sit and sniffing at the food.
06[04:45] * Ragebrew checks his ammo case for Amethyst for a moment, readying a serving for the little gecko.
06[04:46] * Saddle_Burr rummages through his saddle bags, hoofing Rage a pile of food. "Here you go, I think you can put them to better use."
06[04:47] * Ragebrew nodded and put the hefty sum of meat into his saddle, wrapping it in paper so it didn't bleed everywhere. "Thanks Saddle."
06[04:47] * Long-shot meeps and jumps up
06[04:48] * Ragebrew looks over at Long-shot "What is it?"
06[04:48] * Long-shot looks around some before eating "I heard that you"
[04:48] <Merciful_Devotion> "Huh? What?"
06[04:51] * Long-shot "Amy is cackling about her plans for the future..." turns and eats some food muttering to herself how she's happy about something that stopped happening

06[04:51] * Saddle_Burr blink-blinks at Long-shot, then groans sleepily and goes back to eating his gruel

[04:56] <Ragebrew> "Maybe she picked yer brain for the information. She's leeching little bits of yer magic away from ya!" He made some spooky sounds before giving Amethyst a gentle pat.

[04:57] <Pocket_Lint> "Nothing...was just trying to rule out a problem and didn't worked..."

06[05:00] * Merciful_Devotion keeps eating the gruel, not really caring too much for the taste, though it was better than most things she's eaten before.
06[05:01] * Pocket_Lint coughs. "Just wildlife...lemme start from the beggining. Yesterday, I scouted there..." and he pointed into the particular direction. "Found an abandoned mobile home and three mound-caves-thins..."

[05:02] <Pocket_Lint> "Near the mobile home, a stray radscorpion and a mine on the doorstep, couldn't go on and moved to check the caves..."
[05:02] <Pocket_Lint> "First one is pretty much empty, second is a lair for a pack of coyotes and the third...is lucky cave number three we are seeking." He nods.
[05:03] <Pocket_Lint> "I tried to lure the radscorpion into the coyotes to see if they'd kill eachother...but the pack just drove him off, eh."
06[05:03] * Pocket_Lint looks very disappointed.
01[05:04] <Saddle_Burr> "You need more than that. Maybe some kind of bait."
06[05:04] * Pocket_Lint shrugs.
06[05:04] * Ragebrew nodded, tapping his hoof to his chin. "Not too worried about the rad scorp. Might be worth while check the trailer. I'm pretty good with defusing stuff. As for the coyotes, shouldn't be too much hassle unless we get really battered and bruised by the bees."
[05:05] <Pocket_Lint> "I'd say we deal with them first."
[05:05] <Ragebrew> "That too. Some extra meat and hides would be nice."

06[05:06] * Ragebrew looks to the pair of mares. "Ya ladies have anything to offer in the way of suggestions?"
01[05:06] <Saddle_Burr> "Sounds good. Now, let's get moving before it gets too bright. I can't stand the morning light..."
06[05:07] * Saddle_Burr starts packing his things and checking the condition of his rifle, doing quick maintenance on it with a rag.
[05:08] <Merciful_Devotion> "Not really, I'm not much of a warrior, even though I know how to use a gun."
06[05:09] * Ragebrew nodded and went about changing into his armor and removing the dried bandage. His wound were scabbed over, mostly. "Don't need to be great with a gun. Just try not to hit me in the ass when I get up close with 'em." He shot a venomous glance to Long-shot. "But ya don't have to tag along with us if ya don't want. Although ya've proven be to quite the silver tongue lass."

06[05:11] * Saddle_Burr looks up from his work. "We might need a honeyed tongue if we find somepony at the mobile home and he sees us breaking and entering into his home."

06[05:11] * Merciful_Devotion blushes a bit at the compliment, then blinks. "Wait... You shot him in the ass?"

06[05:12] * Mad_Modd 3 the stallion who ran the store the day before comes around a corner "Hello!" and goes about opening the store for the day

06[05:15] * Ragebrew waved a hoof. "I think she just keep gazing a bit too much and forgots about her trigger discipline." He looked over at the buggy. "I think we should do this on hoof. Sure the tank is pretty drained."

06[05:28] * Ragebrew grins as he slip the mine into one of his ammo cases. "Right, it's clear over here. Lets give this place a good once over than move out."

06[05:30] * Mad_Modd 3 inside the trailer is sparce, an old mattress at one end and a shelf along the one wall. A lone skeleton lays curled up on the mattress, having died alone.

[05:55] <Ragebrew> "If we rile 'em up, the entire hive is gonna be on our asses." He slipped out the shotgun vials. "We can try to smoke out the hive before the rest rush out. Pocket, ya think ya could do a bombing run, drop a satchel into the hive?"

06[05:56] * Mad_Modd 3 Amethyst climbs off of Long-shots head and back into her usual armored hiding spot

[05:58] <Ragebrew> "Main entrance those little ones are moving in and out of. Hopefully this smoke is heavier than air, so it doesn't just rise out..." He offered his four vials to Pocket. "Long-shot, adorable megalomanic gecko lass later, saving yer filly friends life now."

06[06:04] * Mad_Modd 3 the package goes right in, smoking after a few moments. The radbees getting whipped into a frenzy, buzzing wildly for a few tense minutes before the buzzing starts to settle down, the few bees that can been seen are sluggish

06[06:10] * Mad_Modd 3 there are still dozens, perhaps a hundred radbees still inside, most just clinging to the walls buzzing sluggishly. The walls of the hive covered with wax and dripping with honey, a wax towards the entrance was to new looking to be of any use, towards the back there were the trademark honeycombs of bees, only much larger and...
06[06:11] * Mad_Modd 3 at the very back of the hive running down the wall and pooling into a small puddle is a strange rainbow colored liquid
06[06:12] * Ragebrew stares at the puddle of fluid rather wide eyed. "The hell is that?"
06[06:12] * Merciful_Devotion shrugs. "Looks pretty though."
06[06:14] * Saddle_Burr gasps! "GET OUT OF HERE! NOW!", he yells as he grabs Rage by the tal and starts dragging him out of there!
06[06:14] * Ragebrew complies. quickly back tracking as quickly as he can out the entrance. "The hell is it Saddle?"
06[06:15] * Merciful_Devotion cants her head to the side. "Why?"
01[06:15] <Saddle_Burr> "It's Taint! RUN!"
06[06:15] * Pocket_Lint chills as he hears that, he tries to pull off his groupmates away from the pool.

06[06:16] * Merciful_Devotion backs away. "T-That's what Taint is?"

06[06:17] * Pocket_Lint only keeps flying, but not dropping close to the pool. He looks out for the fucking wax...
06[06:17] * Saddle_Burr lets go of Rage and grabs Merciful by the mane. "Don't just stand there! Go before it's too late!"
06[06:17] * Merciful_Devotion squeaks, getting pulled away.
06[06:17] * Mad_Modd 3 the bees are beginning to move about more energetically, mite be a good idea to hit them with another smoke bomb
[06:18] <Ragebrew> "Everything we got. Drop all the smokes in here, now."
06[06:18] * Long-shot pulls out her rifle "Hurry before were dead!"
06[06:18] * Pocket_Lint does so, throws his entire stock of smoke
06[06:18] * Merciful_Devotion tosses the bombs she had.
06[06:19] * Saddle_Burr drags Merciful towards the entrance, then lets go, fishes another smoke bomb from his bandolier and throws it, yelling guidance at his friends. "This way! The exit is this way!"
06[06:20] * Mad_Modd 3 the smoke fills the the chamber, the bees quickly becoming drowsy once more
06[06:20] * Pocket_Lint decides to leave...wasteponies were better off with the wax than him.
06[06:20] * Mad_Modd 3 Ragebrew manages to grab up some wax before it get's to smokey to see

06[06:21] * Long-shot tries to help gather some honey and wax with Rage as best her hooves allowed
06[06:22] * Saddle_Burr groans, bucking at a honey comb with both of his rear hooves and picking up the pieces before running out.
06[06:23] * Pocket_Lint lands outside near Merciful_Devotion. "Hey Dev, you're alright? What was the fuss all about?"
06[06:24] * Mad_Modd 3 the pair manage to gather a good amount before fleeing the hive, Ragebrew being the last to leave
06[06:24] * Saddle_Burr flops down on the ground a safe distance away from the cave, panting exhaustedly.
06[06:25] * Merciful_Devotion pants, looking herself over. "T-That stuff... It does horrible things..."
06[06:26] * Long-shot runs out and lays next to the pair "I got somptin Privates!"
06[06:26] * Ragebrew has a horrible fit of coughing as he finally trots out of the cave, plumes billowing out of his mouth. He quickly checked Amethyst's case to see if she was ok. "The hell were ya flipping out about Saddle?" He was already putting distance between him and the hive.
06[06:26] * Pocket_Lint looks off to the cavern, then to the mare. "You're fine..." He places a hoof over her shoulder. "Look, we've only been there for a few moments, nothing much..."
06[06:27] * Saddle_Burr looks horrified as he speaks: "I've...seen that stuff before. I've seen what it does to ponies."
06[06:27] * Mad_Modd 3 Ragebrew seems to have a dark spot on his foreleg, like something colorful dripped on him
06[06:28] * Saddle_Burr goes wide-eyed! "Oh no, look! Rage, your leg!"
06[06:28] * Long-shot glares at his leg "That... is not good.."
06[06:29] * Ragebrew looks down at the splotch on his leg, blinking a few times. "Well that isn't good in the slightest..."
06[06:30] * Ragebrew looked at the splotch for a long time, poking it a few times. "Doesn't feel odd. Might have gotta caught in the dirt. If I start bleeding out, just put a bullet in my head and save me the pain. For now, we got to get back to Swirl and drop this off."
06[06:31] * Merciful_Devotion gulps. "T-This can't be happening..."
06[06:32] * Pocket_Lint arches his head and curiosuly watches the others...goddess...he was really confused.
06[06:32] * Saddle_Burr sighs and nods. "We can't do anything about it right now. Let's just get moving and see what we *can* do."
06[06:32] * Ragebrew put the honeycombs he managed to harvest away. "Oh, but it is. I ain't dead yet, so don't start freaking out." He set a slow pace as he headed northeast.
