  1. Along with twin brother Syngorm, Vael was born by a chance encounter between elven royalty and human peasantry. Raised by their mother in their early years, the twins were eventually sent off to their father in the elven capital of Eversong with nothing more than a Silver Necklace, showing a Pair of eyes surrounded by seven stars, and the clothes on their body. But their cool reception among the elves there never warmed, and their time in the capital didn't last. The siblings stole away one autumn night and set out on the open road, this time with the Necklace from their Mother and an armor and weapons made by the finest Elven smiths from their father
  2. After a few years of wandering, they eventually decided to return to their mother, and journeyed back to the lands of their youth. But instead of finding their childhood home, they returned to a pile of rubble. Their mother was gone, their home burned to ash. Pressing the townspeople for answers, they learned that their elven stepmother, or bitch as Syngorm calls her, sent assassins to cleanse the family name of human taint.

  4. With their ties all severed, Vael and his brother set out to find their fortune together in Fâerun. With Syngorm developing a knack for Magic and being accepted into Neverwinters School of Magic and Vael, not even able to produce a flame to light a candle, found himself lost in the giant city wandering around looking at the various buildings he saw a familiar symbol, the exact same as the one dangling around his Neck. They had wondered for years as to what it was, and Vael thought he had found the answer. Upon entering the entrance revealed it to be a large singular room, with a ceiling as high as the building itself, several doors, and a huge altar centered at the opposite side of the entrance.

  6. Vael jumped as suddenly he heard a voice right next to him appeared "Hello mylord, how may the Lady of the Moon help you today"
  7. Still startled by the sudden appearance of what now seemed like an older Human, he realized he was still wearing his fathers armor, and to everyone else he would appear to be an elven lord.
  8.
  9. "Im sorry Mister .....?, i just wondered what this place was and came inside i did not mean to break into your home"
  10. "Brother Gilmore, mylord i left my last name behind after entering the service of Selûne" as he slowly calmed down he could see the man more clearly now, he was stood next to a wooden bench near the Entrance, big for a Human brother Gilmore was a bald man with a weathered face and to Vael's suprise clad in Chainmail with studded leather covering some parts of his armour.
  11. "This isn´t just a simple home, it is the Temple of Sêlune and everyone may enter" he continued with a smile.
  12. "So this Symbol -" showing his Necklace to Gilmore " this is the Symbol of Sêlune?"
  13.
  14. This first Meeting of his now Mentor Gilmore, he found out later that he was infact a Paladin in servitude of Sêlune, happened roughly a year ago and Vael is now a Innitiate to the Order of the Moon. A faith his mother believed in, and with the ties to his Elven family cut, and pretty much all the twins know of their family history. The paladin training is nearing its end, and as a final test of his servitude to Sêlune, Vael must make a journey to explore the land, protect its inhabitants and gain experience.
  15.
  16. To start this last chapter in his training he heads to (insert group meeting place here- make up some weird story about how party meets - kill a dragon - end of story)
